I’ve just heard you guys talk about a bunch of guys who only seem to do well when it is their home race or their job is on the line. I think it is time for some of them to go superbike racing. Jack Miller has zero championships, but is in the top class. He did himself a great disservice by skipping Moto too. I think winning a championship helps teach drive and consistency. He is a great character for motogp, but I don’t believe he deserves a factory in ride. Miller and Petrucci have had a similar trajectory, and look where he is now.

I thought Miller was confirmed for Gresini for 2025. I read quotes from both Marquez brothers about the situation. Was this false?

Oliveira already proved, several times in several teams, that with similar material of the 1st riders, he can be as good or even better than them.
Now Rivola was very upset when Oliveira was contacted (or contact Honda) because he had a contract with Aprilia...And suddenly, Rivola hired Martin, (which pissed Maverick), then state that Oliveira needs to improve his performance, but when he "knocks the door down" and demand "decent material", on the 1st race he got the 2nd best time...!!!
Now, do you expect that after all of this, Oliveira will be smiling to Rivola?
By other side, Aprilia will start 2025 with 4 riders with zero experience on that bike???!!!
Rivola made a lot of crap, only comparable to what usually Beirer does, now it´s time to clean it and pay the bill...

  • @OzzieBird
    @OzzieBird 2 місяці тому +3

Olivera doesn't want to be at Trackhouse. It's hard to believe Roberts would be faster than Miller but do you take the chance? You have two very fast riders on the factory Aprilia, so maybe you take the chance. But I'm going to stick with my personal belief that I would try and get Nicolo Bulega if you could. We'll see. Either way I'm definitely all for Aprilia factory and Trackhouse ❤ Lastly, im super disappointed that Enea didnt choose Aprilia 😢

Nicolo Bulega , the guy who lost seat in MotoGP because he was to bad? He moved to SSP and 2022 got destroyed by Aegerter (another guy who lost seat in Moto2 because he wasn't good enough).
WSBK is 3rd class of bike racing, 2023 Bautista would easy beat BMW Toprak and Bulega.

It baffles me how you guys keep underrating Miguel Oliveira... Comparing him with the Miller fraud and the Roberts nothing no less!!! Oliveira is the only true rider and the seat in Trackhouse is not his, only if he don't want it because he feels he should go to Pramac Yamaha. Unless, Trackhouse decide to act like the Ktm idiots when they replaced their most successful rider for a guy who is test rider material at best. Oliveira is portuguese and, let's face it, is not exactly supposed a portuguese guy to be one of the best riders in the grid! Besides, being portuguese, the brands can't expect a big return from the little, insignificant, portuguese market. So, let's fact check a bit: The Miller character has a total of 10 wins (4 in motogp, all these while riding the best bikes at the time, Honda and Ducatti), while Roberts, who's been dragging his butt in the world championships for a few years now, has 2 wins! The poor Miguel Oliveira has only 17 wins (5 in motogp, while riding a far from great bike, as i believe you know). Fact: Miguel Oliveira has more wins than ALL Ktm riders combined, past and present, and he left the Ktm almost two years now. So, you guys keep wasting your time about how great it would be to have Miller, and Roberts, in Trackhouse. After all, one is a aussie and the other a cowboy. Can you imagine better curriculum to ride a MotoGP bike?! To hell with meritocracy and hurrah for mediocrecy!

Oliveira was just trolling Aprilia, he already signed with Yamaha a long time ago. Joe Roberts in Trackhouse is like Augusto Fernandez in KTM... but worst. Aprilia without a rider from 2024 bike to develop 2025 bike it's a tremendous idiocy by Rivola. Martin going to have a hard start in Aprilia.

Hoping for Joe. As an American it’s been 13 years since Spies and if Joe doesn’t go now, it’ll be another at least 5, maybe 10 years before we see an American because there’s nothing for us in the pipeline. A pipeline that never includes Moto3 and that has an American team in Moto2 that gives 1 of its bikes to a Spanish rider 😅

To me seem the American riders just are not interested in MotoGP, Cameron was just starting to click in Moto2 but then decided to jump back to AMA? don't understand why other than just wanted to be winning races again so decided go back to where he felt he could win.

Why not ogura to pramac, He has been consistent in moto2. He is 2nd in championship (outscored everyone in last 4 GPs). Is good at tire management, good late race pace. Probably the hardest braker in the class. It is not necessary he has to go to LCR

Acosta would be the only guy who could handle the modern Honda, like Marc,he has the ability to make the bike do what he wants..
Like Stoner on the Ducati ,and Lorenzo when he arrived at Yamaha..
Honda should have gone all in for Acosta.. He's a once in generation talent and could have gotten to grips with the Honda fast as a Rookie.. No-one will be able to ride the Honda coming from another Manufacture. They have the wrong habbits and feel..
Only a realy fast Rookie will bring Honda back to the front..not even Marc after 3 years on a Ducati..
Aoi Agura might be a good signing for Honda,,, who else would go there??

  • @MrChrissk

Biggest issue with MotoGP, rushing young riders through who have yet to really prove themselves in lower classes. I personally don't think Joe is ready, he's been in moto2 for some years now, and now is starting to get some consistent results up towards the front, but all of a sudden he's good for the top class? It's because he's American and they want a American rider. Look at how good Raul was in moto2, and he's only just starting to look like he may get the hang of this MotoGP class. I personally don't think fermin is ready either, got signed up last year, favourite for this season but not really gone to plan, struggling a bit with tire life of the pirelli, so how's he gonna manage in MotoGP because they will go through tires even more so. Zarco won back to back moto2 titles before moving up, he's only won one MotoGP race to date and never really been a title contender, it's no disrespect to him, I like Zarco... I'm just using him as a example, very talented rider, proven his ability in lower class but not really had the success he would of liked. If Joe comes up I give him a couple of years max before he's out, but saying that, no other Americans so keep him on for his nationality, like how taka still has a HRC job even though he's never really been a challenge for a race let alone a title.

The problem from Trackhouse is not the riders… but the technical team then is not good at all. If they don’t get better engineers and mechanics… what ever riders they get will have the same outcome.
Jack Miller is not a good rider for Yamaha… he doesn’t like to develop bikes… he even say that the other day.
Alex Rins leg injury may make him retire because after 1 year is leg is not recovered and bones not heal yet…

  • @Terraceview

It'll be Roberts, if he doesn't move now his career in GP racing will be over and there are no other Americans around even though Oliveira is one of the best riders on the grid who always gets over looked.

How much Miller is "pushing" in the Moto GP is terrible. What has Miller shown this year that he deserves a place in Pramak? Better to bring Remy Gardner or Iker Lecuona than Miller, at least they won't fall off the bike every race.
