Dear Robbie, the main reason I love watching is you have a budget and stress over spending money which a lot of us do!! Makes you very relatable. But with a budget you still have a beautiful garden and I think that is what we all strive for!

Robbie you never have to explain your purchases to a fellow gardener, I think MOST of us have plant lust ? Some of us have to wait a little longer to buy everything we would like, but when you find something or things you really really like you need to get them before they’re gone because in my experience once they’re gone you can never find them back again. At least that’s my excuse to myself. 😂💐💚🙃

I think we all are the same. We spend our money on plants. I wear grunge clothes as I am always in the garden and dirty AF. All my $ goes to soil, plants, containers fertilizers and more plants. haha......love it Robbie.

I’m a retired accountant and I don’t think you should have to justify your purchases. It’s not really anyone else’s business and you know what makes sense for your budget. I’m glad you were able to get those pots, it’s a great savings. I see buying plants as making an investment in my home. Granted, annuals only last a year, but they make such an impact and fill holes in my garden for a season, so I add them to my budget.

Always enjoy shopping for plants...it's my excuse to buy at least 1 whenever I have to go $$ grocery shopping. I 💚 my black petunias. I surround these with other bright color petunias and greens. No excuses needed, everyone has their must buys...and ours are 🌹🌿🌱

I think a good percentage of us gardeners have gone to the garden center and dropped a couple hundred dollars accidentally. I do appreciate that you share pricing and are conscious of how much a project costs.
Wee all have those spaces that just need something to fill it in, or we can create that space. It is always happy shopping when plants agree involved.

When building or remodeling a house they always add a percentage for unexpected costs. Using plant math, $300 - 20% =$240 - $90 for free pot = $150 - $ for gas saved since you were near by ----- they were practically free!!!! 😄

I bought two trees this spring and spent $400 ....I also decided that I wanted more perennials in my garden so I would spend less every year....we all know that's not going to happen lol

I’m so happy you have money budgeted for plants. It makes you happy and well 20,000 plus people happy as well, including myself 😊. That’s a win win in my book.

Aren’t the tuber begonias so so pretty? I bought 3 this year, a gorgeous coral one, a yummy yellow and a white one. They have the prettiest blooms. The containers are “chefs kiss Bella” and the tie die petunias were so different, fun shopping trip! 😊

It would be a crime to not stop at High Hand when you are near there. Their pizza is soooo good. Beautiful plant selection. ❤ I'm going to have to get some of the smaller pittosporum. I had the regular size ones, but they got over 15 ft tall. I just love the black stems and their cute burgundy flowers.

Robbie I live in Japan and I wish I could send you a small Japanese maple tree to grow in a pot , here is soooo cheap and grow like weed, I love them but it’s everywhere so I get tired of them 😅 my neighbors have a empty lot next to my house and recently the cut one to the ground 😢😅

I appreciate how you share prices of plants when you go shopping. It makes you very relatable. Most of us have to be selective in our plant purchases because budgets don't allow us to get every plant we want. I hope you get the weeping blue atlas cedar someday. I splurged on a larger one when starting my current landscape and it is a major focal point year round. It was worth it.
