my grandsons and their mom and dad are traveling to Japan soon as the ''Senior Trip'' for our eldest grandson. I"m going to turn their mom on to your videos so she can see what she's up against planning the trip. She's really good at it, they're going to have a great time. Thanks Martina aka King Kogi for freely sharing your Knowledge.
Sounds like the greatest Senior Trip ever! Wow! yes, please send her on over my way. Maybe they can enjoy the Tokyo Tours segments as well. And I'm so happy to share all this info in my brain, while my brain is still fresh haha!
Martina and Amy Crabtree (Cakes with Faces) are my two favorites when it comes to travel advice to Japan. I used All of Matina's advice and I bought the CWF travel guide, it was so helpful!
That first part about feeling like a part of the community reminded me of the first AirBnB I stayed at in Tokyo. Little place in a small backstreet neighborhood near Ikebukuro. There was this old lady always just relaxing, looking out her window in a nearby house, saying "Itterasshai" and "okaerinasai" with a big smile when we came and went. It was so sweet, bless her.
I’m gonna be in Japan for 13 hours (I’m just stopping by before a connecting flight) and I really wanna try to make the most of those 13 hours, could you do a “understanding the train system” video cuz I’ve never had to travel by train before and I’m a little intimidated by it (also I’ve been really loving your videos lately :))
The UA-camr KemushiChan did a video back in 2019 called "FIRST 6 HOURS IN JAPAN" about how to make the most of the start of your trip or a short layover, assuming your layover is at the Narita airport. That could be worth checking out!
My host contacted me after the first day to tell me that the room I already paid for, was no longer available to rent because it lapsed too many days for the year per the Minpaku Law. They emailed me off platform asking me to cancel my Airbnb reservation, and to book "offline" with their rental company directly. This turned into a nightmare since they told me not to tell Airbnb because they knew they were violating the terms of service. Of course I told Airbnb because I didn't want any trouble. It took them a whole day to have the host resentfully tell me that I could stay with the existing reservation, so much for exceeding the days per the law. Anyway, I was staying for a whole week and was so uncomfortable, that I only left the room to go to the conbini for dinner, and didn't get to do half my trip. It was the worst experience I've ever had, and I've stayed with other hosts in Japan and they have been fine, but this was just ridiculous. The listing was made to look like it was being rented by a kind gentlemen, but it was managed by a corporation called Pipi Hosting, so if you make your reservation, and they ask you to verify your passport and its through the Pipi website, cancel your reservation immediately! I asked for a refund since my trip was ruined, but neither the host nor Airbnb would offer any refund.
@@MTCDiana Yeah if the hosts are gonna be shady and try and get some benefits out of me cancelling my reservation, of course I'm gonna snitch, and I'll wear the stitches proudly rather than getting roped up in some scam.
i've lived in Japan and travelled in Japan and unfortunately one of my worst apartment bookings was in Tokyo. There was a point where airbnbs in Tokyo were very difficult to get (I think legislation had just changed) and so we booked what seemed to be one of the "white apartments" like in the video as we had little choice. We needed space for three people and it was supposedly a double and a single bed in one room. We got there and it was essentially a ceiling, door and poor plumbing had been put into a glorified bike shed. It was tiny, the ceiling was made of sticky back plastic with fake wood panelling which fell down on our first night and it leaked on every side. We got out of their quickly and discovered hostels in Japan can actually be quite different to other countries. We found they often have lots of private rooms that are just very basic which was perfect for us! I can definitely recommend checking out basic hotels/hostels as we found it cost the same as our airbnb!
YESS I'm so excited for this series! It's been a huge bucket list to eventually visit and (hopefully) live there one day. I'm so excited :D Potential video ideas?: How to get started actually exploring Japan? Reading signs or symbols and common things seen on them maybe? Ways to map out your routes, etc. Obviously the trains gets you place to place largely, but I find myself getting overwhelmed in new places as someone with tons of anxiety. I'd love for you to touch on ways to make exploring a little less nerve wracking! (I'm always so scared of getting lost haha.) What to expect budget wise? Frugal, medium, super bougie levels and what you could get out of those levels? Prices of common restaurants and things like clothing or souvenirs? :0 I know some people love to travel on a budget and others want to be as cushy as possibly financially!
Dear Martina, Soni wrote a bunch of things I am also interested in. I want to go to Japan sometime, not sure when it will be. You gave me many good insides about Korea years ago (and maybe even triggered my lovely trip to Korea 😊). Watching this video made me all excited about Japan. I am looking forward for many more videos like this. BTW I absolutely get the excitement you have „to live like a local“ in a foreign neighborhood, feeling like it’s home away from home.
I would love a suggested neighborhood to stay in as a visitor. The out of area districts that are fun but you don’t know they exist. I would love to stay in a more residential area near transit to get into Tokyo and such. Thanks Martina, you always make gems… you are a gem
I am leaving for Japan on Thursday! It's a three year postponed trip due to the personal-pan-pizza so I am jazzed to finally be going! 100000% needed to hear all these tips from ya!
another thing to consider with Airbnb is that some if not most of them are unattended so you wouldn't be able to use the next day luggage delivery. I use this a lot when I visit Japan as I don't like the hassle of bring my luggage on the shinkansen or commuter trains when I'm changing from one prefecture to another. Luggage delivery basically is just sending your luggage to your next hotel, that hotel will accept your luggage for you provided that you have a reservation with them and will leave your luggage on their reception/storage until you've arrive and checked-in.
Loved the video and lots of great advice! I love how much you focused on things people with disabilities might run into. I visit Tokyo once a twice a year from Ottawa :) One that I warn people about is how CRAZY narrow the pedestrian walkway can be that all of a sudden has a pole inside it too. Links to your narrow elevator comment. A LOT of things are very narrow in Japan sadly, drinking alleys, walkways etc. That of course all adds to the personality of Japan and neighborhoods within. Thanks again and I can't wait for future ones :)
As someone who has recently stopped eating meat and is working to give up eggs and dairy, I’d love to know what the vegetarian/vegan food options are like, if any. I come from a Japanese family and feel like directly subbing meat for tofu is such a giveaway for a more ‘Westernised’ (*cough* less authentic *cough, cough*) restaurant. Also, loved the vibe of this video! You seemed so relaxed and confident, I feel like you’re really coming into your own lately 🥰
YES, some advice on (womens) clothing please! 🙏 - training tights - what is acceptable amount of cleavage (many western clothes tend to have low neckline, especially if you are petite) and are cleavage covers a thing - pantyhose or shorts under skirts/dresses - acceptable hiking/city outfits - bare shoulders - should I cover bigger tattoos with clothing (I am traveling to Japan in May)
OMG, I just recently discussed this with my friend! We were going to stay in Airbnb for our stay in Japan in next autumn, but I still think hotel is much more convenient, but it was much more expensive. This video is very helpful! More tips and personal experience, pleasee My current tips that I'm desperately wanted to know: 1. The dos and don'ts in staying in a capsule hotel 2. How to get around intercity (what method of transportation is easier and much more convenient: walk, bus or train?)
YES PLEASE to transportation methods!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and info on different types of hotels (like capsule, hostel, regular hotel, etc.)!!!!!!!!!!
You will need an IC card (like passmo, suica etc) to get around as its much easier to tap the card than to buy individual tickets. Edit: it can be used on trains and buses :)
I went to Tokyo in 2019 and stayed in a Air b&b in Hatagaya which was the nicest area. It was very residential with local cafes and restaurants that were fantastic. Would 100% recommend over a hotel. Saved SO much money. It was definitely the first type, super basic but it was really cosy and comfortable. My 6”0 parter struggled in the shower but apart from that the bed was HUGE and severed it’s purpose of just being a base camp at night
This is pretty on par with our recent AirBNB experience, minus the noise alarm (thankfully didn't have to deal with that). We have 2 kids who cannot sleep in the same room quite yet and renting a multi-bedroom house in each city was a huge win for us. One was even right next to the subway line but we rarely heard the train. We had a great time though, I loved being able to grab dinner from the conbini or grocery and bring it back "home" and use the kotatsu.
I love your Airbnb tips! They definitely line up with my experiences having stayed at several Airbnbs in Japan over the years. (The house we stayed at in Kyoto definitely had a decibel meter installed with instructions for us not to go above a certain level!) Personally, I love staying in the Otsuka area in Tokyo. Plenty of apartments close to the station, it's on the Yamanote line, and just one stop down from Ikebukuro. For more than 4 people in an apartment, I definitely recommend spending the extra money for a place that has multiple bathrooms and showers. That's something you might not think about when you're booking, but it's essential. You don't want 5+ people waiting on the same bathroom/shower every morning. Looking forward to your next video!
I love these kinds of videos. These are the sort of videos that I loved on EYK too, about relatively everyday things like finding an Airbnb or turning on your heating. It was what gave me the confidence to move to Korea back in the day, and I'm sure this video will be equally invaluable to someone else, too.
@KingKogi, have you considered staying at a Minjuku? It's a third option not mentioned in the video. My preference when traveling in Japan is staying at a Minjuku, similar to a bed and breakfast. These are usually run by a local family and they provide meals for you that you can choose to opt out of, though I wouldn't, because home made Japanese food is delicious. Minjuku I've stayed at varied, with large ones that had a public bath area (you can also bathe privately in your room) line a hostel to places that felt like a converted family home. I would encourage anyone who wants to try interacting more with Japanese people to give this a chance. Last time I took my brother we stayed at one for two weeks, and we had a blast.
Ah! My cookbook baby, I haven't forgotten about it I've been testing and gathering recipes, and I finally recovered all the Korean recipes from the EYK website! I cried when I finally got them back, it was like being reunited with old friends haha! I've ran into some problems with baking in Japan because the ovens are just so small and the temps and lengths of cooking time are just so off. I really miss having a big kitchen space, but I haven't forgotten about it. There will be a day that the Creative Cookbook finally is released!
I love that you mention accessibility and that the terrain can be rough. I'm an off-on wheelchair user depending on the day/I can't walk super long distances. It's my dream to visit Japan but I've been worried I may struggle getting around. From what I've seen it doesn't look like many places are the most accessible. I'd love to see more videos around accessibly in Japan if that's a topic you're comfortable to dive deeper into.
Thank you Martina! Been planning another trip to Japan, the last time we went was pre-pandemic. We followed your tips and had a great time exploring by neighborhoods, not planning much and just explored, and even visited Kichijoji! Last time our AirBnB was a white room that was not very good, dirty and washer was broken, so we found a clean hotel that had free washer and dryer, worth the price, so the trip was saved. 😊
I’ve been to some Airbnb that tell you to put all your rubbish and recycling into just one or two bins, but that means someone is certainly coming in to wash, rinse and sort that recycling and garbage once you leave.
Omgawd thank you Yes I’ve been looking for pros and cons to doing an Airbnb in Japan and couldn’t figure it out by myself Thank you thank you I’m just starting on my journey of planning and I kid you not When I say I’m soo overwhelmed with the amount of options ! Also trying to find options around that cater to halal foods options near by… Thank you again ❤
I personally found it hard to find info on airbnbs in Japan when I was visiting. There was a lot of review videos on where people stayed, but not a lot about the specifics. Hopefully this will help, I have stayed at SO SO SO MANY airbnbs and hotels, that I can't wait to share this information with you all!
Still over 30 and haven't hopped on a plane yet! Idk if I ever will, with so much drama.. Japan would be my dream vacation! My daughter's dream is to visit Japan and eat all the lovely food! Really have missed watching you, Martina! God bless you!
I've been living in Taiwan for 3.5 years now and would love to go visit Japan. Covid kinda made it not possible for awhile, but I'm hoping to have the opportunity to soon! Thank you for such helpful information as always. I remember looking at your Taiwan videos before I even visited Taiwan for the first time.
Love this guide! Thanks for all the info I totally wouldn’t have thought of! Would love a super basic ‘if you’re completely overwhelmed planning your first trip to Japan and get mental vapor lock just thinking about planning it from years and years of watching North Americans in Japan on YT’ video. Like: what would you personally go re-visit if you had a week in Tokyo? Kyoto? Osaka? I feel like over the years watching your content, we have similar tastes - especially in food - and I’d love a quick-n-dirty ‘ok. You don’t have to dig through a decade of content - this is what I’m currently digging in my city post-pandaexpress.’ Doesn’t have to be a bucket list or even hit the major tourist spots - just what you are loving at this moment in time ❤
A top 10 places to explore or things to see - or top ‘I still love walking this area, this is great for a day of wandering’ list would be great. I’ve currently got a Google Docs going that would take approximately 7 years to see with so many suggestions, half suggestions and scribbled-while-watching notes 😂
Hey Martina! 👋 Could you do a video about Ridesharing vs. Taxi vs. riding Godzilla or anything Japanese I don’t know about (baggage conveyance services?) for private transportation. General costs and etiquette would be awesome! Thank you!
Me and my boyfriend stayed in Asakusa and it was amazing! We stayed in a basic apartment which came with pocket WiFi which we hadn't ever come across before but it was a game changer when we were travelling around Tokyo! The ONLY thing was that our bed was super hard!!!
I love the series you have made so far. I hope to soon travel to japan, but the videos will be a great help when i do go. Protentional idea for random info video: How to read the signs for recycling in japan. I would like to see a nice fun guide into the system of the recycling for japan. I know where i live (america) not everyone knows that there are numbers and symbols to help talk about the recycling on items
My favorite tip for Air BNB is that you use the filter and cost search options, but then zoom out of the original area, and check the edges of town. You'll often find far more accommodation, larger, more unique places to stay, that are cheaper than anything centralized at your destination. I've stayed next to beautiful rivers in canyons with private water access, covered fire places, the whole home to ourselves, for less then a basic apartment type room only 10 minutes away in town. This applies to anywhere you're staying.
Some of my family are visiting next week - they went for air BnB apartment. They have looked up some of your funky coffee shops and how to potter about. Fantastic resource , this is beautifully put together. You are looking happy 😀😀 xx
Im staying in that Kyoto Airbnb you showed in this video on my upcoming trip! So cool to see it here 🤣 I love these travel tips videos! Kinda cool, you were in Korea before I studied in Korea and now you are in Japan before my trip to Japan. Love your videos!!
Thank you, Martina! for making this video. The last time I was in Japan I stayed in an AirB&B in 2017. I heard the rules changed when I wanted to visit before covid happened
Absolutely keep these coming!! This is FANTASTIC! Echoing what many others have said in the comments, Martina you look like you're thriving and glowing and I'm here for it
Thank you for this video! So helpful. I just booked an Airbnb, is it normal that the host asks for a copy of passport for all guest? Coming from the US, I don’t know if this is just me, but the identity theft in me is feeling unsure about this.. 🤔
Thank you for this video! If there’s one idea for a future video I’d love to know the process of buying concert tickets in Japan as a foreigner & what’s recommended to have the best experience (maybe have an example of a band like Buck Tick etc who have membership programs, explaining how to navigate through it) anything like that would be super helpful
I'm going to Japan for work this summer, and I've been binging all your videos! I used to watch you yearssss ago, so when this popped up on my feed, I had a huge smile! You look like you're doing really well!! Sending lots of love your way!!
Thanks for these tips Martina!! I'm planning to travel to Japan this coming fall. Would be curious about the following topics: JR pass usage and tips, any weather related tips for around November time, and useful phrases to learn in Japanese while visiting for about a 2 week duration.
Love the lil King Kogi in wheelchair logo!! So cute ❤️ Also, your outfit is on 🔥 today! Feel like we needed to see a fashion breakdown, you looked like an awesome pirate swashbuckling hero!
Martina! I sad when EYK came to pass, but your content stretches the same itch. It also clearly has your own style, and I love it! Please keep doing what you're doing! Thank you so much!
Thank you for making this! All your videos about Korea back in the day really helped me have confidence to travel there for the first time. Looking forward to my first trip to Japan in the future! 😍
🙏 Thank you for the video. I’m not planning to visit yet but really enjoy the cheerful vibe of your channel. I watch your videos without fail as they always brighten my day. ありがとうマルティナ
i’d love a dedicated disability tips video! last time i went to japan i was able to walk for 30-40 minutes at a time but now i use a wheelchair for anything longer than 10 minutes.
Such a great informative video! Do you prefer to stay in AirBnB or hotels? Or does it depend what you want to do? I always look at the cool themed hotels in Japan and think about staying there but this is definitely a good option for long visits
If I'm staying for less than 2 days, I usually go for a hotel because I won't have time for cooking and likely will only use the hotel to sleep. If I'm staying for 3+ days, I almost always do Airbnb, I feel more at home and I can relax and cook. When I film for work and I have more than two people traveling with me (and I know them, aka not a random client) I try to find a big Airbnb home so we can all stay in one house, but have different rooms. It's easier to plan when we're leaving and getting back as we're all staying together.
There's a third option not mentioned in the video. My preference when traveling in Japan is staying at Minjuku, similar to a bed and breakfast. These are usually run by a local family and they provide meals for you that you can choose to opt out of, though I wouldn't, because home made Japanese food is delicious. Minjuku I've stayed at varied, with large ones that had a public bath area (you can also bathe privately in your room) to places that felt like a converted family home. It's an option that directly supports locals and avoids all the issues that AirBnB can have.
This was SO helpful!!! I am planning a long trip to Japan next year and was wondering what the Airbnb scene was like there, because it just seems like a great option for a 2+ week stay. The info from a personal perspective really gives insight on how viable this is outside of just looking at reviews and hoping for the best. I'll be looking forward to more travel videos because even though I've seen a million others already There's always something to learn that I didn't think about stemming from personal experiences. The series is really appreciated!
I would love a video on the train system in Japan and whether or not it is worth buying a JR pass, or if you can just survive using a Suica pass and likewise.
Me with no plans of traveling anytime soon: mhm yes I see
Haha take notes and become an expert without every planning a trip!
I just love your content so much ❤ makes me feel like I’m there without ever stepping foot in Japan

Same! That’s how good Martina’s videos are!

I've been watching you for YEARS and now I'm so excited to be planning my own Japan trip! I feel like I've been planning for years lol
Another helpful and informative video! Thanks Martina!
That’s great to hear. Yeah Airbnb can be really perfect if you’re the right type of traveller for it. Sounds like your trip was a success!
Thanks so much for adding your experiences to this video!
I love these kinds of videos. These are the sort of videos that I loved on EYK too, about relatively everyday things like finding an Airbnb or turning on your heating. It was what gave me the confidence to move to Korea back in the day, and I'm sure this video will be equally invaluable to someone else, too.
I run an airbnb here in Japan (Okinawa) and this is pretty spot on!!
Great to hear! And feel free to share the Airbnb link to your place, if you’d like to recommend it 😊
I’d love a rundown on short-term transport options, like there are local train passes, JR passes, how do we make sense of it all?
I totally need this , feeling really overwhelmed with my trip to japan so this its a start thanks
Hey! Any updates on the cookbook?
@@KingKogiHere's hoping that day is soon! I can't wait!
Do you think you'll ever stay at and review Sharla's Air BNB? I'd love to see that.
the topic about recycling seems to be the reason why the cleaning fee is so high when we tried to book an airbnb. now I know. thanks Martina!!!
I’ve been to some Airbnb that tell you to put all your rubbish and recycling into just one or two bins, but that means someone is certainly coming in to wash, rinse and sort that recycling and garbage once you leave.
Omgawd thank you
Yes I’ve been looking for pros and cons to doing an Airbnb in Japan and couldn’t figure it out by myself
Thank you thank you
I’m just starting on my journey of planning and I kid you not
When I say I’m soo overwhelmed with the amount of options !
Also trying to find options around that cater to halal foods options near by…
Thank you again ❤
I personally found it hard to find info on airbnbs in Japan when I was visiting. There was a lot of review videos on where people stayed, but not a lot about the specifics. Hopefully this will help, I have stayed at SO SO SO MANY airbnbs and hotels, that I can't wait to share this information with you all!
Still over 30 and haven't hopped on a plane yet!
Idk if I ever will, with so much drama..
Japan would be my dream vacation!
My daughter's dream is to visit Japan and eat all the lovely food!
Really have missed watching you, Martina!
God bless you!
❤ You definitely do the best on these information video's 😊 Lol we need more CROD tours also ✌️
I've been living in Taiwan for 3.5 years now and would love to go visit Japan.
You don’t have to dig through a decade of content - this is what I’m currently digging in my city post-pandaexpress.’
Doesn’t have to be a bucket list or even hit the major tourist spots - just what you are loving at this moment in time ❤
A top 10 places to explore or things to see - or top ‘I still love walking this area, this is great for a day of wandering’ list would be great.
I’ve currently got a Google Docs going that would take approximately 7 years to see with so many suggestions, half suggestions and scribbled-while-watching notes 😂
Martinaaaaa! I just wanna say you're amazing!!
Good evening.
Very nice 👍
As a Japanese, I am very happy.
Your video made me smile🥰
Thank you very much.
Have a wonderful tomorrow 🤩
This new series makes me so so happy, I'm planning a trip for spring 2024 ❤ maybe can you do a video about the JR PASS? ❤
The number of stovetops/hubs is such a good tip/guide!! It's kinda like one per person I think
I planned my last trip to Japan based on your EYK videos and now I’m planning my next trip to Japan with all your King Kogi content!
really nice put and thorough advice captain.
👩🏼✈️ Thanks so much Zabi!
You should do another one of these videos for Korea!
Hey Martina! 👋 Could you do a video about Ridesharing vs. Taxi vs. riding Godzilla or anything Japanese I don’t know about (baggage conveyance services?) for private transportation. General costs and etiquette would be awesome! Thank you!
THANK YOU MARTINA! literally exactly what i needed right now. i need the hotel one and others in this series too! can't wait!
Me and my boyfriend stayed in Asakusa and it was amazing! We stayed in a basic apartment which came with pocket WiFi which we hadn't ever come across before but it was a game changer when we were travelling around Tokyo! The ONLY thing was that our bed was super hard!!!
A good guide. Reading the reviews and looking it up on Google Maps would be the best info guide.
i love the vibes of these videos. informative but comfy.
I’ll be in Japan in 3 different Airbnbs in 3 weeks. Thanks for this video. ❤
I'm going to Japan on Saturday~ I'm really nervous, about arrangements and how things will be and this video helped calm my nerves.
🌸🌸🌸 🍄 ✨ Hey Martina, Can You do a vlog on Okinawa and the beach vibes? ✨🍄🌸🌸🌸
Some of my family are visiting next week - they went for air BnB apartment. They have looked up some of your funky coffee shops and how to potter about. Fantastic resource , this is beautifully put together. You are looking happy 😀😀 xx
This video game me old tldr vibes that I loved so much ❤️
Im staying in that Kyoto Airbnb you showed in this video on my upcoming trip! So cool to see it here 🤣 I love these travel tips videos! Kinda cool, you were in Korea before I studied in Korea and now you are in Japan before my trip to Japan. Love your videos!!
Airbnb with a washer was.. amazing! Nothing like packing clean clothes to return home.
So helpful!! Also your makeup is so beautiful in this video! 😍
Cool tips! I enjoyed the tip about a one burner hub/hob as a indicator of a micro-apartment.
I’ve been fooled many times but that is always consistent 😜
Thank you, Great tips! Also love all the shots you took and your artwork in the video. If you ever do a coffee book on Japan, I’d buy it!
Omg I have been waiting for your video all week
Long time viewer. I’m glad you’re still around doing what you love. Thanks for being you and staying true.
I’m hoping to finally visit Japan in the next 18 months, so this is perfect!
Thank you, Martina! for making this video. The last time I was in Japan I stayed in an AirB&B in 2017. I heard the rules changed when I wanted to visit before covid happened
I also stayed in an Airbnb in 2017 and it was great.
Going back this October and hope all goes well.
Absolutely keep these coming!! This is FANTASTIC!
Echoing what many others have said in the comments, Martina you look like you're thriving and glowing and I'm here for it
Thank you Martina!! Have a good weekend!
You look like you're GLOWING martina! This is a topic I frequently have anxiety about when traveling so thank you!!!
Legit JUST decided to go at the end of the year, and here you are dropping this gold! I adore you Martinaaaa!!!!
Reminder you are great and these are great videos - thanks again!
Such a wholesome video 😍🥰 thanks Martina
Thank you for this video! So helpful. I just booked an Airbnb, is it normal that the host asks for a copy of passport for all guest? Coming from the US, I don’t know if this is just me, but the identity theft in me is feeling unsure about this.. 🤔
Thank you for this video! If there’s one idea for a future video I’d love to know the process of buying concert tickets in Japan as a foreigner & what’s recommended to have the best experience (maybe have an example of a band like Buck Tick etc who have membership programs, explaining how to navigate through it) anything like that would be super helpful
Thank you for such an informative video Martina❤ Would be great to see one on your Japanese hotel recommendations too 😊
Next one I’m doing!
I'm going to Japan for work this summer, and I've been binging all your videos! I used to watch you yearssss ago, so when this popped up on my feed, I had a huge smile! You look like you're doing really well!! Sending lots of love your way!!
This is so helpful thank you!!❤
Thanks for these tips Martina!!
Your videos are so comforting ❤
Martina! I sad when EYK came to pass, but your content stretches the same itch. It also clearly has your own style, and I love it! Please keep doing what you're doing! Thank you so much!
Great Video and EXCELLENT Tips! Thanks!
Martina, sending you some love and good energy. Hope you are happy and are kind to yourself. Enjoy your rest of the day : )
Happy Birthday, Martina! I hope you have a great day! 🎉
YAY!!! i'm planning a trip now. was just wondering about airbnb's. thank you!!!!
love you, love this, love it all! you're the best!!!!
As a fellow light sleeper, this video was super helpful. Thanks Martina.
We ABSOLUTELY love you!!!!
u hv the best timing i really needed this video!!
Thank you for making this! All your videos about Korea back in the day really helped me have confidence to travel there for the first time. Looking forward to my first trip to Japan in the future! 😍
You are glowing Martina. I hope you are having a good day
🙏 Thank you for the video.
Have you stayed at Sharla’s Neko Neko Inn in Japan?
@@kuronekonyaa Where can you find these to book?
Martina! Can you do a video on what to do your first hour arriving in japan for first time solo travelers?
This was SO helpful!!! I am planning a long trip to Japan next year and was wondering what the Airbnb scene was like there, because it just seems like a great option for a 2+ week stay. The info from a personal perspective really gives insight on how viable this is outside of just looking at reviews and hoping for the best.
I'll be looking forward to more travel videos because even though I've seen a million others already There's always something to learn that I didn't think about stemming from personal experiences. The series is really appreciated!
Just love you and watching your videos! 🥰
I would love a video on the train system in Japan and whether or not it is worth buying a JR pass, or if you can just survive using a Suica pass and likewise.
I would really appreciate a guide for ordering food in Japan! Also, I LOVE your necklace, so cute! 💕
The outfit is so cute today! Love it and the advice was really helpful
