Ike was very jealous of Tina she had the talent he mainly wrote the songs and played.She did the hard work.Ike had her controlled at that time you can here it.
Ike wrote, produced and arranged most of their music. He was also the bandleader. BB King said Ike was the best bandleader that he ever saw. Ike was an established musician before he discovered Tina. He was a talent scout for Sun Records and he wrote the first rock n roll song "Rocket 88". He used to play piano on BB Kings early records. He then taught himself how to play guitar. Tina wrote most of their songs in the 1970s but Ike was the mastermind. He was writing and producing other artists as well. Tina was the show, but Ike put it all together.
Tina knew if she screwed up an interview she was gonna get it real bad that night.
