Hello sir, my problem is my punch in/out was invalid since the day I change phone,. How to bind my new phone to my account so that I can have successful punch in/out again?
1. Access Your Account Settings:
Tap on your profile icon or name at the top left or right corner of the app to access your account settings.
2. Bind Your New Phone:
Look for an option like "Security" or "Account & Security" within the settings.
Find the option to "Bind New Phone" or "Change Phone Number."
Follow the on-screen instructions to input your new phone number and verify it.
3. Verify Your New Phone Number:
DingTalk may send a verification code to your new phone number. Enter the code to confirm your new phone's ownership.
4. Confirm Binding:
After successfully verifying your new phone number, DingTalk should confirm the binding process. Your new phone is now associated with your DingTalk account.
5. Test Punch In/Out:
Now, try to use the punch in/out feature again on your new phone to ensure it's working correctly.

what happen if i change my phone number in dingtalk ??
If you change your phone number in DingTalk, the following things may happen:
1. Account association: Your DingTalk account is typically associated with your phone number. Changing your phone number will update your account's contact information within DingTalk.
2. Notifications: Once you change your phone number, DingTalk will start sending notifications and messages to your new number. It's important to ensure that you have access to the new phone number and receive these notifications.
3. Contact updates: Your contacts in DingTalk will no longer see your old phone number associated with your account. Instead, they will see your new phone number if they have it saved in their contacts or if you share it with them.
4. Verification: If you attempt to log in to DingTalk from a new device or perform certain sensitive actions, you may be prompted to verify your identity. This verification process may involve sending a verification code to your new phone number to ensure the security of your account.
5. Groups and conversations: If you are a member of groups or have ongoing conversations in DingTalk, your new phone number will be updated within those groups and conversations. Other participants will see your updated phone number when they view your profile or contact information.
@@abcdtechnology-lowcode how about the pending approval? is it also sync to new number?
@@hendragunawan2218 Pending Approvals:
Synchronization: Generally, changing your phone number should not affect your pending approvals. DingTalk ties approvals and tasks to your user account, not your phone number. Therefore, all pending approvals should remain intact and accessible after you update your phone number.
Notifications: Notifications for pending approvals will be sent to your new phone number once it has been verified and updated in the system.
