The thing I don’t understand is how could he move from Texas to California and didn’t think he needed to drive a car 🚘 when their is public transportation. He is always relying on someone or his friends. I can see if he was still in Texas with his family and they can baby him . But when u move out and ur on ur own u can’t be baby any more he likes to use ppl a lot in real life. He wouldn’t have any friends where he moved away from Texas. No one would want to be around him Leonard is the only one that can deal with him

I love how it all started...it was in season 1 and Leonard was the one that brought it into the apartment, but, it took Raj and Howard to help him then sat on it playing videos, Sheldon came into the apartment, picked his favourite spot on the couch and it went from there

Noone seems to notice how when leonard first came to look at the apartment that sheldon says that his spot "faces the television at a direct angle allowing me to immerse myself in entertainment or gameplay without being subjected to conversation " whereas when we hear him describing it to penny, he says "it faces the television at an angle that is neither direct thus discouraging conversation nor so far wide as to create a parallax distortion". This shows how much sheldon has changed going from not enjoying talking to people such to being able to converse with friends.

In the 4 co-ordinate system that's relative to the initial point at which he sat in said spot, it would mean 1 variable is TIME and therefore Penny couldn't alter it.
Likewise her sitting in said spot without altering the 3 other dimensions (presumably or moreso necessarily spacial dimensions).
Therefore her sitting in said spot has no physical resultant that should affect Sheldon given his initial parameters... ergo, he needs to take a long hard look at himself.

In the episode when the Judge sent Sheldon to prison and told the big muscular black guy that he was sitting in his spot, I still for the life of me figure out;
A). How Sheldon got him to move (yes, go watch the episode... he does actually move out of "Sheldon's spot" in a later scene).
B). How Sheldon didn't get his head shoved down the provided toilet he would refuse to use.
1. I think that guy wasn‘t in the mood to be upset about him bc it would get him into even more trouble.
2. I wonder if this is the first time he is in that cell because I ask myself how he immediately knows that's his spot where the black guy sits.

I think one of my biggest sticking points with "Big Bang Theory" is how Meemaw is so different in appearance and demeanor from Meemaw in "Young Sheldon." Yes, I realize she's much older now, but I just can't see Annie Potts' character aging that way.

0:59 - Everyone thinks Sheldon is crazy for having his own spot in his house/apartment but it's not really that weird. My grandfather always had his chair where I was told by my mom when I was young not to sit in because that's where my grandfather sat. Same with my father, he had his chair in front of the TV.
Also, Sheldon is the only one who doesn't let Penny walk all over him.
Instead of explaining himself when people ask why they can't sit there, all he has to do is say "That's my spot, on my couch, in my house. You don't like it? Then leave."
