Why do I use two different types of resin in my projects?
I use a casting resin to cast and a doming resin for doming.
Casting resin is usually low in viscosity and works very well in molds without much issue with the bubbles. Also the low viscosity will allow the resin to reach detailed area of the mold. Doming resin is thick in viscosity and holds its shape very nicely. It creates a full dome and tends to hold the surface tension much better than low viscosity resin. So lower risk of the resin dripping off the sides. It also gives the piece a smooth, flawless finish.

Love this idea so much Amy even though it was just a short and sweet and simple tutorial but I think this is a good way to use up a whole lot of stickers that you have that you no longer use anymore especially for those who use paper clips a lot

I use paper stickers, can I seal with Mod Podge? Also, do I need to remove the paper backing of the sticker before sealing?
Yes paper stickers need to be sealed. Usually the sticky backing doesn’t need to be sealed but you should always do a test before
How long can UV resin last when opened? I used to work with the normal resin, the one that cures with time, but im it might be hard as Ive been for a lot of time without using it, so i just wondered if uv resin is a better option
Just like 2 part resin, uv resin has a shelf life. I don’t know how long since companies don’t disclose this info. It’s best to check by testing if it cures or not.

These are so cute. So, I have never worked with resin before and I’m going to attempt to make some xray markers. My question is, can you put a resin layer over the front of an epoxy sticker? Like “dome” the front of the sticker or any other puffy sticker?
You can dome over stickers with resin. Just have to be mindful of the material. For example, paper stickers would have to be sealed before the resin layer.

I'm new to the community but this looks easy enough for to start. Your video is awesome. What type of gloves are you using and what's the name of the company you got your silicone gel mat from( the one you were using to put the stickers on?)
Thank you! Nitrile gloves and I used the cheapest gel adhesive pads available on Amazon

can I use a clear super glue to glue the clips on the stickers instead of UV?
It will pbb damage the stickers but go ahead and try it and see for yourself 👍🏻
did you make stickers yourself? or buy them?
I bought then
so you dont have to seal your paper images, print your images on resin photo paper. You can apply your resin right to your images--no sealer needed
What type of modpoge can be used?
I prefer the super gloss but you can also regular gloss mod podge
