Yui receives tons of hate by Diabolik Lovers fans, and I honestly don't know why. She is gentle, exceedingly kind, understanding, sympathetic and optimistic. In the Diabolik Lovers games and mangas, she seems to have more of a stubborn, headstrong, cunning and brave side to her, and, I was a little disappointed that she didn't have some of these qualities in the anime. Nevertheless, she certainly does not deserve the amount of hate that she is subjected to. Even though she is bitten, belittled, controlled, and put down by both the Sakamaki and Mukami brothers, she still manages to face her situation with dignity, and is still courteous, kind, and gentle towards the vampires. Yui is certainly not a meek, ditzy, and daft person like some people say she is.
Yui has a good heart, a loving one. Sure she’s a bit different in the mangas and games, a bit more snarky too. But I think it’s her faith and purity that make her so lovely, I would have lost my mind that mansion! Being bitten and harassed every day and still having courage to be kind? You go girl! Have we forgotten Kanato almost choked her to death twice! Like damn Yui is strong I don’t care what you say.

I didn't like how Yui was portrayed in the anime, tbh; she lost her comic relief and her strength, which I admired about her. Instead she became a character I pitied. Though no one can deny that she is faithful and willing to give second chances.
I like to think that Laito made and named this song thinking of Yui. I can just see him there in the moonlit room, a bit lonely and sad, and then he thinks of Yui. Yeah he sexually harasses the girl but I feel like he cares a lot for her.

I can see this as my theme, as well...hell, I look like her quite a bit..this theme represents innocence and kindness (in my opinion) and I find this theme very peaceful

Though it's true that the anime only serves to sponsor the games, it didn’t do the characters justice, especially to my innocent baby bean Yui.

It isn't bad it's good but not everyone's cup of tea + it isn't meant to be an Anime, it's an "Ad" made by a game comany, the anime itself is a filer just to let more people know that the games and CD dramas existe
