One piece of advice that I have is that you need to put all of your chain 1’s and slip stitches into what you write at the top because I noticed you didn’t include it. It’s part of the pattern and if someone ( like me ) only reads the top and skips through the rest of the video, they’re missing vital information. I know you’re showing it but not everyone wants to watch 50 minutes of someone crocheting. Otherwise amazing pattern and I loved it. It’s so cute!

Cute pattern, my only thing is that it was hard understanding the the legs should line up in order to have the proper number of stiches in the middle to connect them
just finished one, and I LOVE IT! I've never made anything this cute before♥This pattern is just what I needed: cute, easy, a pretty gift for someone or just beautiful to look at! Thank you a lot, this deserves a big fat like👍
Hi. Was your number of stitches exactly like hers? Was yours 14 slip stitches attaching the legs and then 39 sc around? I somehow end up with more than 39.
@@aakifahhendricks2408 Hi, I made this one a long time ago, so I'm not sure about the exact number of stitches, but I do remeber that it wasn't exactly the same as hers. So, dont worry, just stick to what works for you and everything will come out great!
i get confused when connecting the two legs of 30 stitches. i do 14 slip stitches then a chain. and then i go around but every time i end up doing 36 single crochet instead of 39. even when i go into the spaces where the legs connected. could someone tell be what i’m doing wrong?
I think that she only did 12 or 13 slip stitches instead of 14, along with crocheting in at least 3 of the 4 slip-stitched stitches. 60-26= 34, then add the 4 slip stitch stitches, and that would get you up to 38 single crochet. Or, if you did 12 instead, it would be 60-24= 36. Add 4 and it would technically get you to 40. But with her sl st and chaining 1 to start off the next round, she could have easily skipped over the last st to make 39. That's the only way I can figure this out.
Not sure how much this would affect, especially with this comment being a year later, but I think she is also crocheting in the last stitches that were slip-stitched together on each side. I'm also thinking that she only did 12 or 13 slip stitches instead of 14. 60-26= 34, then add the 4 slip stitch stitches, and that would get you up to 38 single crochet. Not the maker of the pattern, but this is definitely something you can do instead of chain 2. I personally like using the magic ring more any way, since I feel I can cinch it tighter.
Great tutorial and easy to follow. The only part that did not look right was placing the eyes. In the video you placed them so close together and the finished product shows them placed with a few stitches apart. It didn't look right. Good thing I waited and glued them in last. But overall it came out so cute. I will definitely make in different colors. Thank you!
Hi, made mine i think it went wrong some where but in the end i sorted it out after the legs and decreasing never mind he will be loved any way thank you for your time...
hahaha why are the eyes so close together in the video and then suddenly when the face is put on it looks like it's supposed to :D I laughed way too hard at that derpy llama 😂😂
No tips. I ended up slip stitching 13 in the middle and still only ended up with 34 single crochets around. No idea how she gets 14 slst and 39 sc. It's not possible.
Im still a bit of a crochet novice, can I use a different yarn than a plush one? Update: I used Comfy Cotton Blend (Lion brand) in white and Feels like Butta (Lion brand) in light blue and it turned out great! I ended up using a 4.5mm hook. Realllllly cute little guy.
I tried this and while it is okay, a lot of the pattern was left out--how to attach the ears, mouth and tail? And why were the eyes put so close together when the after picture shows them much further apart? Just okay for me.
@@sarahlewis5966 i did what you did because i somehow end up with 32 sc but with your method, it end up to be 39. i'm not sure that i could make it again.

Yes you can! I have been using two strands of worsted weight yarn to make it the same size as in the video, but you can also use just one strand (the llama will be smaller though).
