Vol-au-vent filling!? Help me decide :)

I'll be attempting classic vol-au-vents (puff pastry shells)
These were a staple at most parties here in the UK....you would always see these at a birthday party buffet in the 80's! They are delicious....bit out of style now but I love 'em :) x
Options:
1) Chicken supreme (a-la-king) A creamy chicken stew in a white sauce with peas, garlic and cream
2) Beef
3)Indian chicken curry

OK... No matter which one gets the "win" they would all be good. I'm kinda hoping for either Chicken Supreme or Roast Beef/Horseradish sauce, always good. For the vote I went with Chicken Supreme. It would be great if people started going back to things like this... instead of "instant everything". Just another thought, a nice thick Vanilla custard with berries or a Lemon Curd would be festive as well. You know... sweet after the savory. Looking forward to the results. ❄️🎄☃️❄️🎄☃️ *LK*
Chicken supreme looks fantastic, but the roast beef with horseradish sauce would be amazing :-D Can't wait to see this no matter which one wins! Thumbs up! xx
I've always loved Vol-au-vents Rosie....proper throw back to the 80's :) Chicken supreme is such a classic filling x

Ooohhh chicken à la king, I loved that in the 80s - I’m sorry but the perfect vol-au-vents (IMO) have always been prawn cocktail or coronation chicken - you’ve gotta stay in the 80s lol!
Oh yes Jo....loved the 80's food food has got all fancy and over complicated :D I love coronation chicken too!
Ok can I get an invite to your Christmas party if I vote lol , vol-au-vents I love them and the classic pineapple, cheese and pickles on a cocktail stick , I think i like the look of the chicken supreme so I will be voting for that X

@@WhatsForTea I love a vol-au-vent with cold fillings, like tuna and sweetcorn usually, but think a warm one with chicken ot beef could be yum x

Chicken supreme sounds great! I've left my vote 👍🏽 Btw Mary Berry has a great 10 minute tomato soup recipe that tastes just like Heinz. I think the recipe is on bbc good food and yt as well if you're interested in checking it out,
