I know the family she is referring to in the beginning and they have now moved back to the US. People who want to make this move need to save money but also need a means of generating income. If you plan to rent, while illegal, landlords habitually charge 2-5 years up front. If you have children, schools are expensive. I wish she said “no sugar”. Scientists think societies who take spicy foods are not much exposed to high blood pressure as against societies who do not take spicy foods. Very much surprised she thinks that a whole society do not have the ability of critical thinking. What an insult. It is very advisable for her not to underrate any one. I bet that people in the villages can floor her when it comes to such things in Ghana. She should be careful with her thoughts.
Hi Della, I wonder why you didn’t pipe up for Ghanaians when your guest was so offensive making an all encompassing comment that Ghanaians lack critical thinking. These insults are getting out of hand.

Rewatch the Video and see if you can pick up on any of the positive things I said about the Ghanaians and the country….
The point of an interview is to hear someone else’s opinions not mine. Those are her opinions, she has a right to express it. I don’t think she was trying to be offensive but rather point out something that is her own personal experience.
Hmm, sometimes, it's because of our upbringing. We are raised to 'obey' and not ask questions, not to question authority (authority starting with our parents). So we grow up saying 'ok' and 'yes', instead of thinking through issues. The approach is what to think, instead of how to think. Yes, it sounds like a sweeping statement, but...
I feel insulted when you say Ghanaians lack critical thinking. Don't bring your culture as standard for us. That's what colonial bosses did. They use their standard to look down on us. Who said an average African doesn't know what you are saying. We learn all these at the university but it doesn't work in some situations here.
I am a Black American married to a beautiful Ghanaian woman...Also have lived in Ghana and the Middle East. The way Black people from US think is incomparable to other cultures and some have difficulty understanding foreign Black people.
I have to laugh at these repats who have been in Africa for less than 5 seconds. Do they really have a depth of knowledge on Ghanaian culture ? No critical thinking? 🤣🤣 the Ashanti kingdom was built on critical thinking, even the Europeans were ASTONISHED by its sophistication. I think she needs to EDUCATE herself about the fabric of Ghanaian, tradition, customs, language and society.
No Religion, it’s culture! ITS LAW! It’s a Reminder to keep the laws, statues and commandments. Numbers 15:38-40 King James Version 38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: 39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them ; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: 40 That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.
@@AletaIsrael interesting Aleta. Jesus Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. The law No longer has any power over us. Let me explain - the primary purpose of the law is to reveal to an extent - what is sin. However myself now I cannot remember the last time I sinned. Even one lie irritates me to my core and that’s why some people are surprised that I comment over even one tiny thing. How is that -I was a party Hard bad boy before but now with being born again - the Holy Spirit comes and changes the things we like and the things we do not like. Hence setting us Free from the Law since most of what we do naturally now is Holy. I was thinking yesterday that you cannot even pay me to go to a club today. I will be like a fish out of water but before I could not stay out of clubs. So in the New Testament life in the spirit ie being born again removes us from the law and it’s traditions. If you remember those that kept the law to the highest regard were the Pharisees and I. john 8:44 - Jesus said to them you are off your Father the devil. And It was the greatest of them- the high priest that yelled out Crucify Him. Now that we are under Jesus is there nothing more to do? There is allot to do our walk is now no longer guided by law. It is guided by Love. And love is not like the love for a husband. Love is the opposite of selfishness or self centredness. You see Jesus came from heaven to die for the Sins of man. Jesus was already God. He has nothing to gain from His reducing himself to a man. To allowing himself to be humiliated and killed on a cross. However the beneficiaries of this action is us. That is Love. I left my job to start a charity in the U.K. people keep trying to understand my motive. They say oh he must be making more money from the charity 😀😂 I don’t even get a salary from the charity. I’m trying to do some work for some orphanages, I’m trying to setup some large enterprises in africa to provide jobs and development especially for marginalised youths. You see this walk is not about law. Law is internally focused trying to be good. Love is eternally focused - Jesus took care of the internal bits but you still have to walk in Holiness, prayer, praise and worship including songs, read the bible and I do sometimes evangelise. But what is most important is Love for God this leads to Holiness and the other things I just said and love for the neighbour which displays itself as selflessness or what we call Godly Charity Hope this helps. I watched some of the videos on your channel. I really love your spirit. Blessings.
@@AletaIsrael Hello Aleta the scripture below is Galatians 3. It explains everything from the law (old testament) to Faith (New Testament) It starts at ABRAHAM by saying that what was said to ABRAHAM is that through him is his seed “all the nations of the earth will be blessed” ie not just Hebrews. Ok this is the scripture. Let me know what you think. Galatian’s 3:7-14 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. 8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” 9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham. The Law Brings a Curse 10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” 11 But that no one is [d]justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” 12 Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.” 13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
@@AletaIsrael the Old Testament can be compared to the building diagrams for a house. Where The New Testament can be compared to the actual house. These verse for me symbolises the Holy Spirit. Which now in the New Testament has come to live inside us to constant remind us and also to just change what we like - so we are no no longer chasing after sin and darkness but after Holiness and Love. The relationship between the old and New Testament is indeed a thing of beauty.
I don’t think Ghanaians do not have critical thinking ability, they don’t take urgency serious but critical thinking they don’t lack that. It is insulting to say a whole nation doesn’t have critical thinking ability. How come there are doctors, lawyers, teachers, big time world class business people and more in Ghana.
Please, not all teachers, some teachers. And also. separate book knowledge chew and pour from critical thinking. I have had experience with teachers in gh who were so close minded and not open to different ways of looking at topics, at all. It has to be their way or the highway. The saddest part is, they were not even the authors of the books they were sourcing the info from. If our teachers or professors are not into authoring or co-authoring textbooks, then it's a problem that needs to be solved.
@@gh_blaqsoap2846 I know we can say the same about some teachers outside of Ghana. We surely have Ghanaian teachers who are critical thinkers, teachers who have authored books being used to study various subjects across Ghana’s education system.
In general, they do lack critical thinking because it's not included in the curriculum and it's definitely not thought at home. The professions you mentioned are all trained to manage not to critically think and innovate. Growing up, we were not encouraged to ask questions let alone question/critique things-we were taught to accept everything we were told and not question the adults because it was disrespectful. so, there you have it; it's difficult to innovate if you don't have the faculty to question things, critique assumptions, etc. So, she is not insulting Ghanaians, she is providing feedback, we need to take the critique (no pun intended) and make changes.
@@yenkassa Yes, that's what it is. Book knowledge procedural. We are taking this as an insult instead of a constructive criticism to work on. I was raised with the same accept everything as told 'style', and was considered 'stubborn' because I wasn't having it. My dad is a medical doctor, so go figure...
@@yenkassa I hope you have had the privilege of schooling in both countries. The Common Entrance Exams taken to enter into secondary schools before Rawlings’ era changed the education system, had a critical thinking part. Mental mathematics in basic school then involved critical thinking real fast on your feet. At university level we have science and business courses that involve critical thinking. About innovation, have you seen what some people can do with the very little they have. Really setting up a homemade soap and cosmetics business including helping people to come settle in Ghana does not need a level of thinking that no Ghanaian has done before. These are things many Ghanaians have been doing for decades. Yes and I repeat yes Ghanaians have critical thinking skills. How did Yaa Asantewaa lead the Ashanti’s to victory? How did Kwame Nkrumah lead Ghana to independence. Go read about Ghanaian entrepreneurs and scientists such as Madam Esther Ocloo and many others who were very innovative. Ghanaians may generally not have good customer service skills but there is nothing that this lady has come to do in Ghana, ( for which I applaud her for coming to settle and build a good life for herself) that no Ghanaian has done before her. Who does process the shea butter and black soap she is using? Who discovered those herbs and their uses before she got to Ghana? Please do not underrate Ghanaians in all things? Who at the Ghana FDA will check and make sure her product is worth human consumption? Ghanaians that’s who. They will have their critical thinking skills to do so.

God please help us. 1) she is not Hebrew, we know what Jews look like and where they are from 2) that a man is a Hebrew no longer means anything. Cornelius and the Eunuch from Ethiopia were not Hebrews yet the spirit of God fell on Cornelius household. Everyone is now therefore potentially a child of God, Hebrew or Greek, JEW or Gentile. We therefore now no longer have to call ourselves what we are not. Nevertheless she sounds intelligent - let’s listen to a bit more.
1) I am Hebrew! My people are the Real Jews. The JewISH ppl you see today are pretending to be something they are not, hence the “ish” they put on the end. If I say you are CHILDISH, it means you’re ACTING like a child! They are JewISH, they are ACTING like the real Jews! Next time you see one, ask them what tribe they are from and watch their reaction 🤣🤣🤣 2) FALSE! knowing who the true children of ISRAEL Is, is very important! Knowing you are the people of the book, changes the narrative on everything, it brings so much light to a nation of people who have been utterly destroyed! 3)false again, the Greek and the gentiles ARE NOT the chosen seed of The Most High. They ARE NOT from a royal priesthood! We can talk forever about this but The fact of the matter is no matter if you believe this or not, rather you understand this or not, ALL is about to come to the Light and EVERY OTHER NATION WILL CONFESS WHO MY PEOPLE ARE! And every Nation will come Subject to The God of Abraham, Issac, & Jacob! So I’m not calling myself something that I’m not. I’m Accepting who I am, in the Eyes of Ahayah, and I’m walking in my Power and in my TRUE IDENTITY! I bid you MUCH SHALOM!
@@samaba7577 it is not impacting me. However to say you are something that you are not represents a lie. Now I don’t think she said that to be deceptive. However we are black Africans. She is a black African raised in America. I don’t see many Hebrews calling themeselves Africans. There are 2 points here. 1) from physical identity 2) spiritual education - in the Old Testament the Hebrew blood lines meant something. In the New Testament it means nothing - all are welcome into the kingdom. The blood of Jesus is above all blood lines. Now above all that - she comes across as. Strong female entrepreneur. That’s one thing I like about America- you have to hustle to survive in that place.

Ok I can see the ends of her skirt - That is from Jewish traditions right. It’s a particular philosophy / religion isn’t it.
I don’t know
No Religion, it’s culture! ITS LAW! It’s a Reminder to keep the laws, statues and commandments.
Numbers 15:38-40
King James Version
38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:
39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them ; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:
40 That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.
But what is most important is Love for God this leads to Holiness and the other things I just said and love for the neighbour which displays itself as selflessness or what we call Godly Charity
Hope this helps.
I watched some of the videos on your channel. I really love your spirit.
Blessings.
@@AletaIsrael Hello Aleta the scripture below is Galatians 3. It explains everything from the law (old testament) to Faith (New Testament)
It starts at ABRAHAM by saying that what was said to ABRAHAM is that through him is his seed “all the nations of the earth will be blessed” ie not just Hebrews.
Ok this is the scripture. Let me know what you think.
Galatian’s 3:7-14
Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. 8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” 9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.
The Law Brings a Curse
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” 11 But that no one is [d]justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” 12 Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.”
13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Yes. Hebrew Israelite, straight up.

God please help us.
1) she is not Hebrew, we know what Jews look like and where they are from
2) that a man is a Hebrew no longer means anything.
Why can't u just enjoy the interview and let this negativity be? How is her calling herself Hebrew impact u?
1) I am Hebrew! My people are the Real Jews. The JewISH ppl you see today are pretending to be something they are not, hence the “ish” they put on the end. If I say you are CHILDISH, it means you’re ACTING like a child! They are JewISH, they are ACTING like the real Jews! Next time you see one, ask them what tribe they are from and watch their reaction 🤣🤣🤣
2) FALSE! knowing who the true children of ISRAEL Is, is very important!
@@samaba7577 🤣 that part…
@@samaba7577 it is not impacting me. However to say you are something that you are not represents a lie.
Now I don’t think she said that to be deceptive. However we are black Africans. She is a black African raised in America. I don’t see many Hebrews calling themeselves Africans.
There are 2 points here.
1) from physical identity
2) spiritual education - in the Old Testament the Hebrew blood lines meant something.
In the New Testament it means nothing - all are welcome into the kingdom.
The blood of Jesus is above all blood lines.
Now above all that - she comes across as. Strong female entrepreneur. That’s one thing I like about America- you have to hustle to survive in that place.
