Dumb question but why do people cut the grass and do all this extra work just to put cement down. Cant you just make the layout with the wooden planks and just put cement on top of the grass?
We got a deal on the pad based on some of the quotes I was given which ranged from 3k to 12k. I chose a good vendor closer to the low ended of that range. Can give the exact number to protect his future business deal.

I wanted the court to be level with the ground to avoid a high edge. Less chance of injury from over running. So we dug lower than the grass level.
How much was the total cost from the start to finish?
