I use to live and and work in these areas in the bronx back in 2016 - 2018 These areas are no joke it's full of welfare poverty and violence I didn't let it break me I let it make me into who I am today a born again Christian.
Me from the UK, thanks for making this video footage of the Bronx. One thing I have noticed about the Bronx is that it is vibrant with a lot of life and energy. If it wasn't for the Bronx
What a crock! I grew up just a few blocks from there, left the "vibrancy" long ago and never looked back. I like my single-family suburban house, my gas grill, my lawn mower, and especially my car and its garage/off-street parking space right there.
I am a UPS driver of 28 years the first eight years from 1995 to 2003. This was part of my route along with 167 St., Jerome Avenue grand concourse, Townsend Walton withe and Clarke place. oh, well, how can I forget featherbed Lane and my buddy Joe had university Jesup Summit.. just to name a few from his route. We had a blast never a dull day.
Used to live inthe Bronx 60 years ago. Would have liked to know exactly where you were, street names, etc. It didn’t look like that when I was a kid and hung around the streets with my friends. It was a different world. Was that 170th st? If so, my old neighborhood
All Bronx belong to the Dominican they make this city back to life again with alots business the building in the Bronx was all burn in the 1970 and not to many Business but thanks Dominicans people they bring the Bronx back with rich of business and created a lot construction build comfortable housing and grand concourse, Fordham road all the Bronx look more beautiful and clean is time to New York have a Dominican Governor and Mayor I believe that God give us that dream arriba mis hermanos Dominicanos and thank you all, God Bless Dominican Republic 🇩🇴🙏🇩🇴🙏🇩🇴🙏
It’s so sad because The Bronx did not always look like this. It amazing how lower class people can destroy a neighborhood. I don’t mean lower class in a financial way ,I mean in a manner of living just disgusting
Buzz Kill here. Might just be me not sure if those Govt. handouts working the way promised. Then again just maybe they are and keeping voters coming back for more Govt Cheese. Vote Democrat free ride to polls.

Very much! It’s always something going on. Ppl are always outside having fun
The Bronx is very poor in some neighborhoods and diverse and yet full of energy. A huge percentage of people there are immigrants.

I've never been to a city before and thanks to these videos I see I haven't missed anything. Never understand how people can live like that.

@@dreswalks Wow. Hyde Park is just as congested. You can barely find parking there.

The slum areas of NYC always look better than the slums in other US cities- most of the shops are open, no or few burned out ruins etc.
Because New York is the safest city in the country.
burned out ruins?
NYC slums have completely changed. A LOT of working class people with good jobs live in these areas now and keep the stores open.
Try the south Bronx 70s80sand 99s guaranty it looks worst then any slum in America
it's because although there is a lot of problems there is also a lot of community out here, people got family businesses and look after one
The bank called Ponce. A ponce is a slang term for a stuck up rich man. He's a ponce.
Ponce is the second-largest city in Puerto Rico, for the uninitiated.
