Did you know about all of these already? Do you have more maybe?
Good video. I have been using all these features since a long time. Some actions are macros and Have set most actions in the Logical Editor.

I use all of them!!! you've built a Cubase nerd out of me, I may have watched all your videos🤓👍 (I have 2 ElGato and use them for many shortcuts and macros BUT, I've been experimenting with an iPad and TouchOSC and MetaGrid Pro.... they are superb.... like what Hans Zimmer has on his setup..... do you use anything like that? which one do you preferr? *alos I use "Cubase iC Pro" which is great for when y alone are tracking my Drums)
Cubase is really the best, after years of using PT, Cubase feels like a race car in every aspect, and these videos help a lot!
Glad you like the videos!
Thanks for your lessons! Call this lesson "Link Edit"
You are welcome, and yes that could have been a title as well :)
As always, very helpful. Thank you so much for sharing this!
Thanks for the support!
Very useful tips and functions! Thanks a lot!
Glad to hear that!
Very informative video. Thanks
👍
Thank you so much for the useful information!
You’re welcome!
Thank you so much Martin 👍👍
You are very welcome
Excellent info!
Thank you!
Great tutorial, thanks for the good work...I used to know this but gradually you forget it and before you know it, you're busy with doing things separately in stead of linking and bundling.... good to get this refreshment Lanewood!
Yes, you are right that how it is for me usually as well 😉.
Another excellent video, thank you :)
My pleasure!
Learnt something new … many thanks👍I use folders all the time but didn’t know the group selection out of folders
Great, it’s a very nice feature.
Again very helpfull, especially the hint on CB Pro 13!
You are welcome!
Thnx 4 d review 👍
You're welcome!
Thanks for all these tips, very nice. I would just say that in your first example, rather than calling it Grouping Tracks, I typically think of that as Grouping Events or Clips in the Edit Timeline. I say that because the Events you link do not even need to be on separate tracks. You can for example link 2 or more events in the Timeline that are even on the same track. It's probably a fairly rare application that makes use of this but when you need it, it can be very useful. I'll admit I found this out because I was doing it be accident on two separate events that I had dropped onto a single track. But occasionally it is useful that way, mostly for doing things like fade in and fade outs on events that are split into multiple events or takes, etc..
Great, thanks for that tip! Might indeed be useful for something or someone.
Valuable tips indeed. Thank you for sharing. Have yourself a safe and wonderful weekend.
Same to you Peter!
Thanks particularly for that "bug".... I think I came cross that the other day, shall check on that preference setting.
Yes that’s a bit of a weird one.
What bug?
@@dmillionaire7 check the video 😉
Thanks. Great refresher. Always appreciated.
Thanks for watching!
Hello! Love your videos. I am wondering if there is any way to assign one key to "Hide All Automation"? It's something I (and others, of course) have to do maybe 500 times a day, and it is a very cumbersome process, at least by default, and I cannot find it in default keystrokes, or to make a macro. I know how to do it with the (cunningly hidden) track arrow, or the (also amazingly mysterious) Project/Track Folding/Toggle Track method. I hope there is a way to avoid so much hunting about. just one keystroke?
If you go to 'Edit - Key Commands...' and then search for 'Hide All Automation' that command is available to add a shortcut key to. Does that not work for you?
nice video, thank you. is there a possibility to select 12 tracks and route them to one group with one click?
Yes with the alt+shift modifier like I show in the video.
Great video as always, thank you! I want to add that Alt+Shift works in the Mixer Console too (I use it all the time). If you hold Alt+Shift you will see that the Q-Link button gets engaged.
Yes it does seem to be related to that so maybe that is why that preference needs to be set as is. 👍
