@@aureliebeckers2626 i feel that. i'm playing the violin since half a year and have great progress (no flexing). Intonation pretty good, good vibrato and stuff, but of course i still have much basic things to practice. a lot. what about you?
@@theophilus7016 that's really good! Keep practicing and we will get there :)) I play the violin for 8 years now but I'm really nowhere near this level. (Practicing Bach A minor now)
To learn this is on my bucket because of kaori miyazono!!!!! What has anime done to me? Even before I watched it I was playing both piano and violin but I love it even more and I want to learn this piece. God help me
Pota7o Potato sorry for replying so late but if you got your right hand chords memorized you should be fine just the placements and bowing is difficult
well it doesnt matter about the late reply haha as i couldnt borrow a shoulder rest, and didnt wanna buy one cause my violin is also borrowed, so ive been focusing on Rach 2 and some of the tracks from the new Kizumonogatari movie.
The initial musical phrases those not connect the way you showed. The ascending notes prepare the next ones, (prepares the reapearance of the initial cell, formed from 2 descending notes), like a sort of anacrusis. So, you cant separate them. So, the structure of the phrase is: 2 notes (the first articulation, that represents a motif-cell); 6 notes; 10 notes.
LOL! Now you've put me on the spot... ok ok, so here's the next part of the story (let's call this Chapter 2 out of 5): as a child, his father would eat all sorts of cookies when no one was looking- cookies with caramel, stripes, frosting, and so on- and it would make him momentarily happy (trills and ricochet passage), yet there were foreboding consequences (up-bow staccato), particularly following a happy sugar rush: he would start yelling for more and get out of control!
Hi Ben! Long time fan of yours :) recently I've been motivated to play this piece and wanted to ask for some advice. At 1:09, my double-upbow keeps sounding like one note; I can't get them separated :( and at 1:28 my run just sounds scratchy and not smooth. Any help appreciated!
I was so into in the beautiful way he was playing until 1:47 when he stops and i was like I WAANT MOOORE. Then he starts explaining and i start falling into the way he do that until he stops and i was like I WAANT MOORE. Then he starts playing and i start falling into.............
Nice , ingenious, very imaginative story, you can make a cartoon to gane kids interest of this piece. It is a way of seeng the meaning of this music, because, as we know, the music that those not have lyrics or program, leaves the mission to find a meaning to the latitude of the musician or the listener.
And, rarely an articulation of the phrase is formed from just one note, (that is some thimes the case at a sonata form, when the bridge is represented from one chord. I am not sure in english that is the name of that section, i am refearing to the moment that connects the first theme from the seccond one). So, you cant consider to be an articulation of the frase, the final note, wich obviously finishes the phrase and cannot be separated from the 2 notes ahead.
Hey Ben its me again who was going to request for Caprice Viennois btw could u tell me whether Wieniawski Polonaise and the Zigeunerweisen is hard to play for a intermediate level
Super violin playing technically. A lot of feeling also! However, this piece has to have a Spanish flair. Too much legato, thus lacking the capriccioso rhythmical edge (Flamenco). Notes are great! Bravo! But, few classical players have the knowledge of the true ethnic influence/style behind the music. It's very classical playing in the style of combining Schubert and Brahms. Listen to Albeniz, Granados, Rodrigo, de Falla, even Piazzolla, and of course Sarasate. These composers merge ethnic with classical.
I find the formulation of a story from a musical piece so interesting, here's Ray Chen doing the same thing from the same piece ua-cam.com/video/6LeZNjNhaEA/v-deo.html
i will learn this piece even if it is the LAST THING I DO!!!!
hey, it's been a while. have you learned it? One day i will learn this too
I also really want to learn this!! maybe within 10 years :))
And have you already learned it?

I think this only a cover, but when he stop and start to explain that I fall in love. You gonna go to the Heaven, son.
Cool! I'll see what I can do about the Malaguena, though it'll take me a bit of time since I don't know the piece currently.
Amazing! When did you start playing?
As for the playing, nice technique.
I love

The 2 phrases are just like the "Question and Answer"... I think.
and interesting history...

Just I don’t understand why you finish up bow at the end of phrase. You look intelligent.
Teach me :'( it is my song favorite and I do not know how to play my violin
If I spend 2 hrs a day or a little more can i nearly perfect it in exactly 36 days
Nobody know, u have to try
how did it go?
Depends it took me a whole year to finish this one piece
And here i am, struggling with the rieding concerto in b minor xd hope it isn't too bad for two years of playing
I came here to learn a bow stroke and he didn't help me
It looks sped up for the fast parts-
Teach me, plase:(
