Good to see a review on a model at 15K. Most vehicles are great when they are new; the real test is when they get some real world wear on them. Subbing so I see the 20K update.👍
I have a company vehicle i drive. I also have a new Camry that I never get to drive. I've only managed to put on 2200 mi in 4 months. It literally feels like I have a new car all over again every weekend.
You can reduce rock chips by increasing your following distance. Try to get into a habit of giving about six or more car length.. then rock chips should be very rare if any. As a car travels down the road, it throws up debri behind it. And if you're too close, you will be eaten that debri... especially eighteen wheeler so don't try to drift behind big truck to save gas, and god forbid if the semi truck has a blowout, and you're directly behind it. Huge chunks of tires destroyed your car ua-cam.com/video/Ugb6sdiWCoI/v-deo.htmlsi=-zFmihkG9W-tlZYk
Thanks for the very helpful advice! Admittedly, I do follow closer than I should sometimes but moving on I will try my best to give as much space as possible.
Do you think that PPF (paint protection film) will help better with the rock chips? I am getting the Underground color. I do not want to be so scared while driving about some rocks.
I have quite a few rock chips on the front end of my car after 20k miles but the accent lights are holding up great. They haven't cracked or become visibly damaged on the light itself at all and still look brand new minus the minor nicks from the rocks on the black housing.
No update yet, didn’t mention it when I took it in the other day because I was in a rush. Will tell the dealer next time along with a new issue I’m having. Stay tuned
Mine has this problem took to dealer and they said they fixed it but it was still there, then i removed two bolts that hold trunk and i did fix it also latch needs to be moved little, it is easy fix, dealers are worst to take your car, you will do better job, just watch few videos on youtube
Me too, I’m a perfectionist when it comes to cars so it does bother me a little bit. When I have time I’ll definitely look into see if there’s any way I can get it adjusted
I do deliveries so I enter and exit a lot of driveways, sometimes I forget how steep they are and sometimes they are just too steep to avoid scraping. I've only scraped it maybe 2 or 3 times, first time being a warehouse ramp, which hurt the most but it hurts less now since the damage is already done. Good thing no one can see it unless they literally lay under the car.
From what I've read, Toyota paint is intentionally thin to save weight. Knowing the consequence is paint chipping easily, I'd much rather have a car thats a few pounds heavier
I've seen both colors in person and I think that heavy metal looks way better than underground. I like the way the sunlight hits the metallic flakes of heavy metal, it looks premium. I actually wanted that color, but I had to settle for white due to availability
Personally I love it. I prefer bright interiors over black interior 100% of the time. That’s just my personal preference but to answer your question I love the red and don’t regret buying it at all
Overall, a pretty solid upgrade. I had a 2021 XSE before and this one is smoother, more powerful, and more comfortable. I think the most noticeable difference aside from looks will be the technology, it's awesome compared to the last gen.
3:19 that’s a quality control problem from assembly. Camry’s sold in the US are manufactured in Kentucky. Had this happened in Japan the workers would have profusely apologized to you and then seppuku.
I mean if u drive on the highway.. paint has no chance even if u put 20 coats of paint…. So chipping is normal of u do tons of freeway or highway driving…
I’ve never needed to turn on my a/c with 2025 Camry. It’s cold enough in normal mine set at 71. I love it.
You did a really good job. Appreciate it bro.
Thank you!
My 2025 camry windchil pearl paint no two tone xse is perfect 4 months later best decision ive ever made best riding car and no rattles ever been in
Glad you are enjoying your new ride!
The CarPlay connection needs to be set in settings. I went in settings and haven’t had a problem since them

Thanks for the sub! I’m currently at 17.5k so expect a 20k mile review sometime in the near future!

My seats hold me into place... You just ain't fat enough😂
For sure🤣

@swazsugaife PPF will help, but the best thing you can do is do not be a tailgator
The headrests in my new Camry have never even phased me luckily.
Love the exterior accent lights. I’d think they’d be susceptible to damage from rocks?

The wheels not to low for a problem road i mean ?
Nex question the sunroof mack noise during driving?
Any update on the alignment on the trunk? I’ve noticed this issue with a lot of the new Camrys.

Great video brother I rock with you ✌🏾
Appreciate the support!
@@DNDrives I got you 👍🏾✌🏾
I had the same misaligned panels on my Mazda cx30 only one or two but it still bugs me...

How did you scrape the bottom of the car 🤔 I always take my time coming off of curb and parking .

@@DNDrives oh I didn’t know that 🤔✌🏾
My Toyota Highlander has chips also, I don't know why the wind chill pearl is like that, it's annoying 😑
From what I've read, Toyota paint is intentionally thin to save weight. Knowing the consequence is paint chipping easily, I'd much rather have a car thats a few pounds heavier
I’m debating between, underground and heavy metal. What do you think? Have u seen underground in person? Thanks for the review
I've seen both colors in person and I think that heavy metal looks way better than underground. I like the way the sunlight hits the metallic flakes of heavy metal, it looks premium. I actually wanted that color, but I had to settle for white due to availability
How do you like the red leather? Seems like there are mixed opinions on it, most love it and others say it’s too bright.
Personally I love it. I prefer bright interiors over black interior 100% of the time. That’s just my personal preference but to answer your question I love the red and don’t regret buying it at all
Thanks for the response! Great thorough video! Can’t wait to pick up mine in the coming weeks
Get you some paint correction and drive her on. She looks great 👍🏾
Where did your mud flaps come from? I'd like to add them to mine and I like that they are lower profile.
Mine came with them from Toyota
They came with the car and are Toyota OEM
I see your front windows are tinted. Does the mechanics require you to remove your tints when getting car inspections in order to pass inspection?
My personal mechanic doesn't
Hey DN! When you play music at around 40 do you notice a rattle in the front passenger door behind the door handle?
No rattles at all, I regularly play my music at 45 with bass and treble at max and haven't experienced any rattles.
How do you feel about the regen brakes ? To me they feel like I'm going to rear end everybody.
I have it set to work with the brake pedal if that makes sense; the regen only works when I step on the brakes so it feels like any other car
@@DNDrives how do you accomplish that, please explain.
How does the new Camry compare with the previous gen?
Overall, a pretty solid upgrade. I had a 2021 XSE before and this one is smoother, more powerful, and more comfortable. I think the most noticeable difference aside from looks will be the technology, it's awesome compared to the last gen.
Good bro :D
The fabric on the corners of sunroof tore when I look in from the outside of my Camry
This is normal, all Camrys that have a sunroof have it. It is not torn, the corners were intended to look that way
Is this faster thanTRD? V6 was king
Definitely not, 225hp is no match for the TRD's 301hp
Did u test any other canrys before settling on the xse?
Nope, always loved the XSE
Can I turn off my rear seat alert chime that beeps 8x after I exit and lock my doors.
Yes that should be in your settings in the gauge cluster, not the infotainment screen
Never thought about painting your caliper red to go with your interior?
I have, did that on my 2021 XSE. Just haven't had time yet, maybe this time I will get caliper covers
@@DNDrives 👍🏾✌🏾
It look brand new because it is I have the Heavy Metal XSE pana roof dark interior.
Heavy Metal is a beautiful color, I would've gotten that over the white if they had any when I was looking
Me too!
Where did you get the door handle covers from?
I got them from Amazon, here's the link:

@@DNDrives thank you!!

Would u consider ppf?
Yes, I've been putting it off due to how expensive it is
He seems like a really nice guy doesn't he....... At least he's real.... Most likely will not become a UA-cam Star. but who cares. he's NICE...😁😁😁

I don’t slide around in my seats at all.
Maybe it's just me, I'm a slimmer guy
Should’ve got ppf
