Although I don’t have that many automations just yet, I’m going to start categorizing them now so it doesn’t get too out of hand!

Once you start building things up whether it's automations or devices, you soon realise the need to organise it all in Home Assistant.

Great Video ... I have about 120 Automations and 160 Devices (40 + are Zigbee). I find it difficult to find any difference between a Label and a Category. Where am I going wrong ? Your video placed your security camera's under "Label" . It could also be placed under "Category". Your inputs would be appreciated to set up my automations. Thanks.

Thanks for watching. I agree with you, it seems like the categories and labels are just the same thing but I think it also makes it super flexible to configure how YOU need it.
One way would be to use labels to easily define what devices are used in the automation i.e. Lighting, Sensors are labels and they're in an automation called Driveway Motion Detection which is categorised as Outdoor.
Apparently this is one of the most requested features to be added to Home Assistant but I think everyone is still getting their head around the best way to use them, especially when you consider there are Areas as well.

    What labels are you using?

I'm trying with device types at the moment, so security cameras, plugs, bulbs etc. just to see how that goes
