- The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX full game completed 100%. This includes all heart pieces, weapons, photos and upgrades in the game. This has always been one of my favorite Zelda titles and I am looking forward to the remake on Switch coming out later this week.
This channel features instructional & highly edited video game guides, walkthroughs, speedruns and other uniquely transformative videos. My own personal gameplay, extensive editing & creative input are clearly added into each video, ensuring that all videos adhere to UA-cam's partner program guidelines. My walkthoughs take tremendous amounts of work & editing so that all videos are straight to the point & can be used as professional video game guides. I have spent thousands of hours practicing & mastering games before recording to ensure the highest quality gameplay possible. All gameplay is my own & is recorded and edited solely by me. Permission to upload each game was provided by the game publisher.
I am so glad you did this game. I was having a nostalgia video game crave and this game was it for me in the 90s. Im excited to watch this!
Fun fact: you could make link invisibile by holding all buttons and do a spin attack with the sword and make him invisibile (but monsters still attacks him tho)
If you want to return normal, Exit the game and load your save

HyperGamer 09 Would you mind giving me some advice please? Is the Lite just a handheld, and would all Switch games play on it, or would they have to be played on the main console? I want to buy one, mainly for LoZ LA and ACNH. Thank you :)

Never owned this game, but I enjoyed when my friends played it.
I played this game on my 3DS in 2012. I didn't beat it but it was fun.
I got the game when I was 14 and I've always been PANTS at RPG's and so I really didn't even get that far until I hit a wall and just gave up!! I remember absolutely LOVING exploring the world everything was set in though and it really sparked my imagination I will say that much.
IMHO the definitive version of Links Awakening!

I have seen the cover of Link's awakening back in ca 1997 when I was a small child and I didn’t understand what it was: it was a video game, but didn’t depict any video game art or material on it. I thought that it might be a special program instead of a game or a game for a specific audience. And also the name Zelda rang absolutely no bell with me. I found it too mysterious and bought my first and only Zelda only in 2004.
I also know that child me would have really liked Zelda in 1997, but I missed it over its too mysterious box aer.

2:26 why does so many player come from the top? I always come from the left to push the monster close enough so when I grab the sword where I automatically do the spin and kill it. It fits nicely with the epic ost.

@@MegaZeldafan1 There's no need to do that. You can get a infinite amount of Rupees in the Color Dungeon by bombing a certain hidden wall and collect Rupees (that contain 5 each I think) then exit the dungeon and re-enter it again and bomb the wall again and the Rupees will respawn once more.
What is crazy is that you could play this as a flashgame on some websites. I miss the java days.

Playing this on my gameboy advice but there’s a border around the game it would be great if it wasn’t there and the game fit the full screen like my other games
They put this phototype port in the 3ds virtual console.

I think 3Ds virtual console. I don’t think you can record gameplay on an original GBC
He's playing this on the 3DS Virtual Console. The reason why I know this is because when that Imp creature increases Link's Magic Powder, Bombs, and Arrow capacity, the screen flashes slowly to minimize the risk of seizures. In the original game, it flashes too quick.

Question - I re-bought the shovel (after trading for the boomerang) and there was no room in my inventory for the magic rod icon when I got it in dungeon 8. Did I just screw myself out of being able to beat that game? Chest for magic rod was opened, I was told to "burn baby burn", but there is NO rod icon in my inventory to select. Help???

@@joshuahouse5084 you didn't see the Nintendo direct from a week after your comment. If you pay for the pretty cheap switch online deal you can no walsivget access to a library of game boy games that is expanding. In the first wave of games they have titles super Metroid 2 and this game all on Nintendo switch. That's why I was on this video. To get tips for my switch playthrough lol.

A link to the past was definitely a more challenging game. I don’t think I have a preference though, both games are masterpieces.

@1:13:38 Stealing items in the shop isn't necessary. There's a Rupee trick in the Color Dungeon where you bomb a certain wall and you can get infinite Rupees and they respawn when you leave and re-enter the dungeon. Rinse and repeat.

One of the owl statues gives you the hint, you have to beat the monsters in that room in a specific order. Rabbit first, then the bat, then the hooded thingy.
