There is a bubble in Boise because the opportunities to earn money do not keep up with the prices. The market is being artificially increased because a lot of old money is buying real estate right now. The market in Boise and the surrounding area will correct at some point.
I haven’t heard her say that Idaho has some of the lowest utility rates in the entire country because of the hydro electric production; that has encouraged a few companies to relocate to Idaho; and that encourages people from all walks of life including the homeless people, and the unemployed people to move to Boise, and other cities in Idaho! It’s no wonder why there’s so many homeless, and unemployed people living in Boise! They think that the streets of Boise are paved with silver, and gold, and platinum, and other precious minerals!
You talk about HOT summers and COLD winters. How hot and how cold? I will be coming from central California where we had 30 plus days of over 100 degrees. So that's hot to me. What is your definition of cold? Snow? Thanks, Peter
I'm moving to Boise the first week of August (from Southern California)! I'm starting off in a rental in the Southwest ADA County Alliance area, but hoping to buy after our one year lease is up (if I can still afford to). You're definitely on my top list for agents in Boise. Thank you for all the great content. It's very helpful.
Py DevEagle - You make a good point, an honest point at that. As a Native Californian I could write a book of what life was like in the 1950’s to now. California politics has created human cesspools as right this very second these same left learning people are selling out all business, property, their very utopian ideas causing such a failed state, relocating to rural America buying up property creating an artificial market bubble. Believe when I say-soon, such people will be spouting their politics and ideas at your local city/county counsel meetings soon. Hide and watch as my Grandfather once said.
@@garbinator09 I second that. We are moving from California the end of Jan 2019. Already bought a home in Eagle but we do not want liberals. California is a mess now thanks to liberals and I do not want them to ruin a beautiful place like the Boise area.

Large sums of monies mandated to buying your way in only construction is cheap contract grade, same minimum wage green carded workers framing up housing with little regard to detail, proper measurements, even foundation pouring. Stick and stucco is what I deem it. Wall plugs are still placed as they were in the 1930’s with any additional outlets farmed out as Options! Just another method of adding more donuts to dollars. Builders know more electronic gadgets need power yet, profit hugely off the weary buyer. Its like pay now, or pay later. Its a great gig for electrical contractors. Try ordering a floor plug in the den area and see what the charge is. Once this new FAR FAR Left regime takes over power, old liberal money well bail well before 2020. Redistribution of medium to high earners are tops on their money tree chart! I close with this thought, isn’t it funny we speak of certain people being unwelcome, yet, our Entire Federal Government cannot come to grips with invasions of low to no income, non-English Speaking, unhealthy people mostly needed governmental aid/support into this country! It seems as if America has come to its end. Everbody wants their equal share without earning it.
@@keepidahogreat5687 I'm a conservative, hence the reason Idaho appealed to me. I've never voted for a Democrat, I'm pro 2a, and I can't stand the liberal policies that have destroyed the state of California. I fully understand the reason for your comment. You don't want a bunch of liberal minded Californians bringing those destructive policies to Idaho. I get it. Also, the mass migration drives up real estate cost and increases competition in the job market (that's either a con or a pro depending on one's perspective). I get why many Idahoans hate Californians. I also hope that liberal policies don't infect Idaho.
Okay- So? Hurricanes? Floods? Tornados? Are acceptable? I agree, too much ice would have me sliding on my ass at age 70 if I manage to live that long. I do LOVE my state geographically. Where I live I rarely have to concern myself such weather issues. But Utopia for all is not my idea of Liberty, Happiness, n freedom to choose.
Best thing about Idaho are the ladies, she's a case in point!

sounds like where i live in the high desert. its burning hot during spring and summer, but freezing cold during the winter.
Candice Lewis - As it might be hot, question is? How much does electricity cost to keep a 1700 sq ft home cool?

No, liberal none sense here. It is cheap and safe in Idaho for a reason. Do not make it California
