- Jennifer Hudson made a surprise visit to the historic Chicago Theater in her hometown of Chicago and performed "Endless Love" with Diana Ross in front of a sold out crowd!! Diana Ross had earlier announced the Jennifer Hudson was in the house, when she was asked during the Q&A session who she would most like to sing a duet with, but Ms Hudson was nowhere to be found. After Ms Ross performed her signature hit "Reach Out & Touch (Somebody's Hand)" as her closing encore, she walked off stage but she soon returned with Jennifer Hudson in hand! The crowd were ecstatic! Ms Ross then asked Ms Hudson if she would like to sing "Endless Love" with her. It was an impromptu moment but Jennifer Hudson did her usual magic and sang with Ms Ross for a verse or two of the romantic ballad. Throughout, Ms Hudson looked as if she couldn't believe she was singing with the living legend. It seemed ironic that Jennifer Hudson became a superstar playing a character based on the life of Florence Ballard and the battles she fought against a group she founded, The Supremes in the movie "Dreamgirls". Yet, the moment seemed perfect. I hope Diana Ross gets her wish and record with Jennifer Hudson on her new album that Ms Ross said she is going to start with Mark Ronson at the end of 2019. Now that would be a real dream!!
I've always loved Diana Ross, and I love how Jennifer Hudsin is so humble with everyone that she sings with. She never tries to outshine that person; but uplifts them.

One of the things I have always admired about Diana, is that she is NEVER afraid to share the stage with another musician. She did it with Michael and just left him singing while she danced. Truly a beautiful artist. And Jennifer!!! Mmm, that voice, that talent and still so humble. You can tell that she has great respect and love for those who came before her. Diana Ross was never vocally challenged. She may not do acrobatics with her voice but she’s definitely a great singer.

I took my mother to see Dianna back in the early 70s in Virginia. We had front row seats!!!! We loved her then and now. She is beyond awesome.Jennifer I absolutely adore. For such a young woman to have survived so much negativeness in her life is truly amazing and a blessing. I can still hear Jen taking that time ending breath near the end of "I am Telling You." and ending that song with all of the fervor that she has. It still gives me chills to hear her sing that even today.
