I dont know why, but resiliency is not for the rich and famous, I dont know why they breakdown after a painful loss of something or someone.. yes it is indeed painful, but it is still a beautiful life to live even in your worst situation, why let yourself be buried alive by depriving yourself of being happy and grateful for all the good things that has come your way? I really dont know what they'd do if they live in the poorest country, without anything.. sometimes they should compare their rich lives to those unfortunate for them to realize how fortunate they are

If a movie is made, changes would be good since their romance is odd. He was a grown adult when he met a 13 year old celine. Granted, they didn't date until she was 18. Feels like a grooming plot but he did care for her and even mortgage his house to help her career. While her parents didn't approve of their love, they eventually approved and celine made it clear that she understood how they felt. With her having kids, she'd be on the same boat if her boys dated older women

Completely!! I heard a statement that said "PTSD happens when you think your world is safe, and you realize it is not." PTSD isn't only a mental illness - it's a full-body reaction to trauma, and that's what she was experiencing. Rather than wondering if this was the end, the Media should have acknowledge that this is a time in which Celine needs the support and love of her fans, and the understanding that she may need to take time to regroup, but it is not the end. Buuuuut ... that's not the media as we know it.

@@michelleflood7225 I’m not sure where your hostility is coming from here. I have many friends and family from a military background who deal with PTSD. I think the problem might stem from the fact I meant to say it isn’t JUST a mental illness, but rather has a whole-system effect on the individual who suffers. And it is a gradient syndrome, in the effect that one case is never quite like another. The only similarity is that it seems to hit when the stressor has passed (WW1 for your grandfather, Korea for my grandfather, WW2. and VietNam for my uncles and the Persian Gulf and Afghanistan for cousins and friends). When the individual has come through the fire and everything seems as if it should be good, only to realize that their mind is still there, and their body is still wired to fight or flight and no off switch in sight.

Celine Dion is one of my favorites! I understand how grief can destroy a person. After my mother was murdered I lost 50% of my body weight in a short time. I was no longer able to eat. I felt myself dying. Mom was my only living relative and I had no support because we had moved to a new state 2 weeks prior to the incident. It took a great effort to overcome the devastation and I can relate to Ms. Dion in that way. Each person reacts to grief differently. I'm glad to see she is doing much better! • @mistertadakichi
      @mistertadakichi Місяць тому +1

The metaphor that works for me regarding grief:
Picture a box, and inside is a button that, when pressed, hurts you. Grief is a ball bouncing around in that box that starts out huge, and at first is ALWAYS pressing that button. Over time, the ball gets smaller, and mostly misses the button- but every once in a while, it does hit it and the hurt it causes is exactly the same.
We should never think lesser of ourselves for needing to deal with the pain that grief causes, because sometimes it just so happens that the button was pressed.

As it's been said, grief is like carrying a rock in your pocket. Sometimes you take it out of your pocket and stare at the burden it is, then you put it back in your pocket and carry it around until the next time you feel the need to take it out of your pocket. The only true relief will be when God takes me to Heaven and there'll be no more tears. For now, I hide my tears, especially around those who love me. Diane in NC

Dan Wooton is the one defaming Johnny Depp, whilst being an abusive pos himself. Imagine talking like that to a recently bereaved person, who had a very public grief ridden breakdown. When she said she and her husband made one person... yes... that is exactly what it was like with my husband. When I lost my husband 15 months ago... half of me died. When Ryan explains he feels having no support system makes you sick, our bodies become sick from prolonged stress... grief becomes stressful when people expect you to be positive, to help make the rest of society comfortable. Grief is painful... but if you love someone grief is a honest feeling that will come up. It is a natural feeling... it's when we try to stop grief from being felt... that is very dangerous to our health. Society needs to be more supportive of those grieving. Stop telling us to look at the brighter side. Stop telling us we will get over it. Embrace us in our sorrow... someday you will need people to embrace you ... loss is natural... out of order loss is not. No one teaches us it is ok to be heartbroken when out of order loss happens. My husband was 52 when cancer took him. I have allowed every emotion to wash over me... sad, anger, shame, despair, happy, laughter has filled my room as we speak of Tim's funny ways. I do not stop any emotion... but I have been shamed by family for not pushing the happy thoughts out more. I have been shamed for not moving on. I have been shamed for being lost when every cell in me knew only how to live with Tim by my side. 29 years every part of me memorized living with Tim. Every part of me was looking for comfort... it was like every cell felt like fire, every cell was looking for Tim... every cell was aching finding empty space.
I wrote this within the early months after losing Tim:
    I miss your sweet kisses
I miss how you said, 'I love you' every single day
I miss how your arms felt around me
I miss burying my face into your chest
I miss how you held my hand when we were out together
I miss how you stroked my hair
I miss how the room felt when you were here, even though we didnt always talk
I miss the smell of you
I miss how special you made me feel
    I miss loving you
    Every nerve feels your absence
    I dont feel loved
    I dont feel secure
I dont feel safe in the world you and I created
I feel so alone... even when people are near, I feel every single place you filled in my life.
Somehow I am supposed to carry on
Somehow I am supposed to know how
Somehow I am supposed to accept my new life
Somehow I am supposed to do it without many people supporting all of the places there is a void
Somehow the world keeps moving forward while my world stands still
My shattered soul is laying on the floor...
waiting for me to step on the sharp pieces
Waiting to dig into my bare skin
I cant find a spot that is safe to step
I manage to pick up a piece...
    One single piece a day
Alone I am trying to get out of this
Oh how much faster it would be having people to pick up a few pieces
I know people are too busy to help
    I try to understand
As I bend to pick up a tiny sliver, "I miss you, Tim" escapes my lips as a whisper
    Tears falling
My soul waits to shred me
    Would anyone notice my absence?

That's what impresses me about her, she has never struck me as an occasionally cold, stoic business woman, she has always seemed in touch with her feelings. Everything she does is motivated by passion and love and integrity. She doesn't pretend and she usually doesn't "switch off", even when she's broken. And the irony is, in many ways, this quality is a source of strength, for herself and others around her, instead of a weakness. Look at how many people were touched by this video. Strength!

I must say that Celine's new definition of love, is how I learned to live after losing my very best, best friend in the whole wide world. I never had someone who was as strong of a friend as she was to me, and I doubt that I ever will again. She truly was a once in a life time deep hearted friend. We were married for 6 or 8 years (I really don't remember, because it felt like I never really lost her). We were together 24 X 7 X 365. We got up at the same time, were in the bathroom at the same time getting ready for work, we cooked together, ate together, drove to work together, worked on the same unit as we were both RN's, drove back home together and went to bed together. They say if you really love someone, turn them loose, if they come back to your, they are yours, if they don't come back to you, they never were yours to begin with. We remained friends and still did things together. We both loved dancing and were very popular at both of the places we frequented, to the point that people at both places had cleared the floor to watch us dance. One night we had gone dancing and when we were on our way home, she said she didn't think she could go on being friends, that she would ALWAYS see me as a husband. I asked her three different times on the long drive home if she was sure this is really what she wanted to do, the last time was as we pulled into her driveway. She said she was sure of her decision. Even though I did not want to part our friendship, I told her that I would honor her request and would not call upon her, BUT if she needed anything I would be there for her to help in anyway that I could. In my heart I knew her better than she knew herself, and I truly believed in my heart that this not being friends would not last. So I id as I promised and did not call, visit, or intrude upon her life at all. Long story short she eventually came to me and needed my help getting onto the computer system at work (by this time I was working in the float pool and so not on her unit) after coming back from a medical leave. When I finished, I asked so are we going back to the no friendhip deal and she said yes. It was not to long after that, that she came to me and said she could NOT go on NOT BEING MY FRIEND. She retired from the hospital and when I decided to leave that hospital and move to AZ., I asked if she would like to take our friendship to AZ and she agreed. She went back to work---->eventually thing came to a point where she could not find work and she moved back to our original state. I got a job at the hospital the she wanted so badly wanted to get into and had applied to either 2 or 3 times and never was called. When I talked to the nurse recruiter about her, she told me to have her call her that very day as she really wanted to bring her into their employment (that hospital had been without a nurse recruiter during the time she had appled and that was why she did not get employed) if her telephone interview went well. So I immediately got on the phone and told my best friend (Mary) to call this number, that the hospital the she so desperately wanted to work at wanted to talk to her about a job. Mary said she would think about it and might call later. I told her, no....do not wait, the nurse recruiter was waiting for her to call. So she called and go a job and moved back out to AZ. She came to work one day and was very ill. A VERY ALERT Certified Nursing Assistant, noticed that Mary was really mentally out of it (when the RN's didn't tumble that she wasn't doing well as they were busy getting report on their patients). This CNA called the nursing supervisor, and in the mean time checked Mary's blood sugar (as she was a diabetic) and on 3 different machines she kept getting a HIGH reading, meaning the her blood sugar was greater than 500. The CNA and House Sup. decided that Mary should be taken to the ER. Short story, she was placed in the ICU with a blood sugar greater than 600 and a blood pressure higher than 200/100. When she was finally discharged to home I visited her several times. I had a long stretch of work days and did not get to communicate with her. She had not called me by the end of my work days, so I attempted to call her, but got no answer. I just thought she might have been sleeping very soundly, might have been out shopping and couldn't hear her phone OR her phone was dead. after not being able to reach her after several phone calls, I went to her apartment knocked on the door, but no answer. So I used the key she had given me for this very type of situation. When you opened the door you could see the living room to the left, the dining room straight ahead, the kitchen to the right, and looking up the hall you could see right into her bed. I called out her name to no answer. I checked her spare bedroom to see if she was on the computer, but not there. As soon as I crossed over into her bedroom, directly to the right I saw her sitting on the toilet, slumped over onto the bathtub, and she was dark purple from the nipple line all the way to the top of her head, and she was stone cold. I knew that she was way to far past dying to be revivable. So I had to call the police, they called the coroner and they both arrived. I of course was question thoroughly by the police, until I started to have a really low blood pressure and directed the police officer right exactly where to get me some chocolate from Mary's freeze to stop my blood sugar from dropping. He never questioned me anymore after that. I guess he figured if I knew her place that well that I must have been as good of a friend to Mary as I said I was. So that is how I lost the very best, best friend I have ever had. That has been 11 years and 2 months ago, and I still miss and think of her most everyday. There is no substitute for a best friend. So you learn to appreciate everything a little more. You see the beauty in everything everywhere and in your mind you kind of think of sharing it with your loved one. Thank you for reading this if you have gotten this far.

      Amen, Revelation 21:4
'And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: The former things have passed away. '
( No more death is referring to death of spirit, because The Holy Spirit is quashed by wars, abuse, sin, hurt, slavery and oppression etc which take away peace and happiness and fall short of God's Love causing grief, pain, illness, sickness and death of the spirit leading to death of happiness and joy leading to depression, anxiety and sicknesses that in time lead to sickness and physical death. )
If there are millions of people on antidepressant and anxiety medication, then there are still millions of anxious and depressed people. Masking a symptom with a drug is not healing and so the fullness of the spirit and fruits of the spirit are lost and life looses joy and natural pleasure. This is why spiritism/pharmakia cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven and neither can the sinners.
For Life in accord with God's promise for life we must walk in and by God's Spirit of altruistic Love for Life. God's #Loveisnotacortisol stress hormone and God's Love guides us away from the causes of stress hormones to allow our endorphins to flourish.
'The end is the beginning of The Word endorphin, His Love in our blood. '
God's Love made whole and One in our blood. The end is the beginning of The Word, His Love in our blood, the beginning of freedom, righteousness: freedom from slavery to sin addictions, freedom from slavery for Healing pains for everyone, All Nations for Heaven on Earth as promised by God as declared at Revelation 21.4
Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, ( JHVH which means ' He who causes to become ' anointed with the whole spirit of Love, namely Jesus Christ )
      Thy Kingdom come,
Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven...
So if we are behaving with God's Love for justice, peace and righteousness here on Earth we are embodying God's Heavenly Love here on Earth as it is in Heaven for The Holy Spirit to dwell in us, in our body, The Temple for God's Love to dwell in us for Healing for All Nations and Heaven on Earth as promised by God who is Love and Light for Life. Isaiah.
The Holy City, The Heavenly City Zion to which All Nations will stream... Isaiah, Revelation and All Scripture. Endorphins are our natural body biochemicals for relaxed and happy altruistic living and caring for others. Endorphins are our natural pain killers and 'feel good factor' that come from living in accord with God's Love and the reward of giving care and kindness for All the fruits of the spirit namely Love, Joy, Faith, Goodness, Kindness, Mildness, Patience with Self Control not to hurt, abuse nor sin against another (or self ) for a quiet conscience with self and God for Twofold Peace which is the meaning of the name Jerusalem for New Jerusalem for Healing for All Nations and Heaven on Earth as promised by God who is Love through Jesus Christ, Amen. Why didn't she just tiptoe in that night when she came home late to just check on him.She found him dead the next morning .That guilt is a terrible burden.

It doesn’t matter the age difference if you fall in love, it’s about the person, not their age. I’ve been n a relationship with a man 25 years younger than me for 9.5 years now and he’s probably more mature than me!

Celine Dion is a Queen forever. She's the Queen of Ballads / Love songs. And one of the most humble, kind, and hardworking people in the entertainment industry. As she has said many times before, her mission is to share love with the world. She also just so happens to be one of the greatest singers of all time.

Losing your spouse is difficult. She had found her true love and is now grieving. So very sad. This family needs love and support to heal completely. May God bless all those who suffer a list like this. Over coming a lose like this takes strength and courage and she accomplished that. Amazing .

I'm so sorry about your husband, my deepest condolence to you, trust me I completely understand how you feel, I lost my wife 3yrs ago to a horrible heart attack, it was a terrible experience for me but I kept strong for my little daughter hoping for the best future for her, time does heal the broken heart expecially when you're around the right people, life goes on because the future and our happiness is all that really matters because our past doesn't it's just full of both sad and happy memories of our loved one's that passed away, I'd love to talk to you more if you don't mind, I'd have drop my cell # here but I'm not sure about that it'd be nice if you send me your email address so I can reach out on you.?

What she says about never being prepared for it is so true. From the day my disabled brother Matt was born we were told he'd die, and nearly every year he lived too. He lived to be almost 23 years old and doctors didn't expect him to survive even 1 year.
He was so amazing and I learned so much about life and love from him. He went suddenly and unexpectedly one day, it was devastating. There's no preparing for it at all, even though you know he's not going to live as long as most people are supposed to.
In reality, none of us know how much time we have. So really no matter if we want to try and be prepared it's just not a realistic thing that can be accomplished.
The debt that all men must pay, there is no escape from it. But making the best of the time we have, letting people we care for know how we feel, and forgiveness of one another, letting go of the little things. Doing this makes it more rewarding and when they are gone, you know you did the best you could with them. Made the best memories. Remembering the good things helps too.

I think grief is a beautiful thing, it shows how deep your love can be for someone else. I am reminded of my primary school friend whose father left her family when she was 5 y/o. She always told me that in her mind, her father's dead rather than deliberately left her because at least in the former, she would have loving father whose time is up in the living world as oppose to an absent dad.
It struck me how precious grief is, you lost someone whom you loved and have loved you the same way. It's reciprocal.

I love Ryan Reynolds! My heart bleeds for Celine. I lost my husband, the father of our children, 2 years ago. It's truly devastating, plus you're grieving while trying to care for young children. There's barely time to figure yourself out, to heal. I hope she's pushing through, now.

My mom was a widow with a 3yr old & 7 yr old. I was too young to realize how strong she was to get thru life all alone. She did better than me! Love can last or for a brief moment in time bc tomorrow is never promised. Ive got 5 engagement rings, they all died! So i took time for granted! Tis better to have loved than never again & then in heaven forever bc no more earth to be reincarnated!
