Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial. I made four of these to keep my patio furniture tarp from blowing away in high winds. Thank you.

I fill mine with river rocks, a lot less messy. Well done.

Wow! This is the essence of DIY. I might actually attempt this just say that I did it. This tutorial takes me back to the days of my grandmother making our suits and winter coats. She even reupholstered her own living room furniture every now and then. Great work and thank you.

This is such an awesome project - so simple and quick and much more affordable than buying something similar. I made these for a backdrop for an anniversary party, but I have no doubt I'll use them again and again in the future. Thanks for such an easy tutorial!

Loved this! I am using this and your DIY PVC Pipe backdrop to make a backdrop set up for my kids birthdays! I have 3 kids and I always have a cake table with treats and normally I end up setting up a background against a wall but this would really be much more convenient! thanks!

Thank you!! I've been searching for a sewing project to make sandbags. Most are using items they can find in the store to put together but I wanted to sew a quality bag and you delivered! Keep it up!

Thank you Morgan for this instructional video! These sandbags are used in my garden and I would like to make more but I cannot find the instructions I printed. Can you tell me when they will be available again? The link provided does not go there. Thank you!

    Do raw rice grains work?

Rice is less dense by weight than sand, which is grounded rock. So you will need a larger quantity of rice to fill the bag to ten or fifteen pounds. Depends on what your weight bags intended use is.
