A year ago, I purchased the Autel Maxi TPMS TS508WF. I wasn't sure how to use it because my TPMS was misreading on the 2010 Toyota Highlander dashboard. The video really help to sort out a bunch of questions. Thank you for the informative video on how the write the data to the ECU.
Just got my TS508 in today and programmed all my new aftermarket wheels to my LS460. Was sooo easy took 5 min and got rid of those ugly yellow warning lights 😂 thx 👍
First of all, thank you for the posting makes it simple I’m a little confused on the type of sensor you have on your summer tires, at one point you say you’re using MX sensors and then other post you say you’re using OEM sensors. Or OEM and MX the same sensor? Or does the 508 work on 99% OEM and MX?
Just got the same unit today. It was able to read all the sensors but takes forever to communicate with my 2013 Mitsubishi RVR without succes. First I used "TPMS Diagnose" to wake the sensors up. Trying to use "Position Relearn". What could be the problem?
My 2017 Lexus is200t does not display tire pressure after replacing a new sensor, but the sensor light go off, and the tire pressure just match with ts508 data, just not displayed the pressure on the screen! Can you tell me how to fix?
Unfortunately, some sensors will not display the actual tire pressure, but you can program them to the car, and if you have a low pressure warning, it will notify you. My huff sensors won't show on my Lexus gs350 buy they are programed to cpu.
I see lots of used TS 508WF for sale. I have a 2017 RX 350, my understanding was up to 2016 they were able to store 8 sensors, 2017 on it is only 4 codes. Last check was $50 to reprogram my snow tires then again in the spring my summer tires. What a PITA-does anyone know if this works on the 2017 RX-350 ?
I mentioned 2017, up to and including 2016, there was 8 saved places. In 2017 that changed, I also downloaded the operation chart from Autel-it is unable to communicate actual pressure on all Lexus @@LEX508UA-cam file:///C:/Users/onewi/Downloads/TS508_V6.49_FunctionList_US.pdf
@@hjkjccdggjhvb not so fast cowboy, This tool can only program the autel MX sensors. And supposedly other aftermarket programmable sensors. As far as oem sensors, It can only make a already programmed sensor work with the ecu. What you are asking is basically linking the sensor thats already programmed to work with that car. Yes, but thats what all basic tpms tools can do. When you buy a new sensor for your car it comes ready programmed. (OEM codes). Most cars in my experience will learn the sensor after you start driving. This particular tool is almost useless. The only thing that makes it useful is programming less expensive universal sensors and their autel MX sensors. If you buy this to use in a shop youll run into its limitations in the first few cars.
115? You sure about that? This is a $250 tool. Autels instructions are very poor. It doesnt cover several issues ive had using it. And its definitely not a pro grade tool to be used in a shop environment. I have a honda Odyssey this tool think one sensor is bad but firestone was able to read the sensor with their tool and get the toms light off. Maybe better suited for DIY but buy the pro grade tool if you work in a shop
Scan all tpms sensors no problem, but when i go inside the car turn on engine and i see the dashboard with all sensor all in red unavailable tpms sensor, How to fix this problem?
Man I got a 2017 Lexus is350 f sport and got some rims and tires from fitment industries. Well every tire shop I went to to get the TPMS sensors relearned they said they couldn't get it to communicate. I recently purchased the lunch 5011E tried it and got it to read the sensors plus it fixed the light but my psi still comes up with ---- on all 4?? any opinion? I believe the sensors are MAX gen 2.
Yeah unfortunately mine do the same thing. The sensors are program in the car but won't read the psi. The good thing is that it will trigger the tpms light on if you have a flat.

Can confirm this procedure works on 2013 Infiniti G37. Just make sure you use OEM sensors. I just programmed 4 new ones.
Thanks!! Your video showed me exactly what I needed help with!!

Hopefully, it works for you. I haven't had any problems with any cars yet.

Do you have to do this every time switch wheels or just one time?
Some cars hold more than one set. My Lexus only did one, so yes, every time.
How about the summer tires did you buy aftermarket sensors and was it easy to program
Yes I did and yes very easy. I'm getting the itch to put them on already.

I think if you want to clone a tpms, the new must to be a autel mx sensor.
@azemhoxha7539 I'm not sure about that but I've never had a problem programming my cars.
so , where did u buy the sensor, is it universal sensor?
The sensors came with wheels, but yes, they are universal.

Did you have to know the id # on the tpms?

If the TPMS light is on, that means they aren't programmed to the car.
