First time I went with a research outpost. Then after seeing a completely open-air outpost on a foreign planet surrounded by unknown aggressive life and hostile aliens I doubted my decision. As proven by the first few outpost attempts - what use is a scientific outpost if you can't keep a foothold on Eos? Better go a bit military, and then start building homes around it. Actually the reason for scientific outpost for me was that there was a scarcity of primary needs on the Nexus. But again what use is that when... what I wrote before. But hey any consolation is that 50% of the population will agree with you, and the other 50% won't! So you can't make a popular choice! Cora wants a military outpost because of the Kett, Vetra wants a scientific outpost because 'that's what you came there to do'. So hurray!
See tbh I think reasons like this was why alot of ppl didn't like the game don't get me wrong I loved it currently playing through again for the 8th time 😂 but there was so many missed opportunities for making major decisions that could change the game throughout the story. This could have been a big choice to make and instead it was kinda just thrown away.
They definitely made some of the different species look different than before. If I remember correctly they made Andromeda on a different engine than past games. But still the way the "aliens" look in the game just doesn't look or feel right.
military has them helping you in final battle
Jerome Glover i shouldve chose military
they help anyway

6 years late, thanks for the straight forward answer
So the choice determines what kind of role you are playing as? What is this, some sort of roleplaying game?
well it is an rpg you know...
I’m pissed I don’t get to settle an outpost in Aya the Best looking place period.
I have to choose ice cold death ☠️ islands. Wtf.
Thank you!
Hmm
Is it just me or does ME3 have better detailed graphics
Nope, it ain't just you.
Definitely just you
Yes but I would rather have better gameplay like this one graphics are nice but not when gameplay is bland
