I could never get my hands on chilis but I did manage to get a dozen strawberries a while back and I’m loving it! They’re with my betta too in my bigger community fish
Cheers mate, yea I love them, mine are definatley spawning now, I think my tetras are scared with all the activity in the tank, harlequins and corydoras both spawing and swimming around like crazy. 🤣
I've had 15 Cardinals who schooled nicely & were fun to watch, then added 6 harleqiun Rasboras as they are supposed to be compatible However the harlequin' s have totally taken over and chase all the Cardnials to the bottom & behind the plants dominating the swimming space for themselves.. I've lost 3 healthy cardinals I think due to stress of being chased constantly. Thus the harlequin's are going to their very own new 10 gallon tank (where they can chase each other) & I'm adding 12 Chilli Rasboras to replace them which I hope will be more peaceful.
My tetras are all hiding amongst the plants right now but I think it might be due to the harlequins and corydoras spawning and chasing each other all over the tank but I will keep an eye on it. My chilis used to be in my 29 gallon with my tetras and they all got along fine :).
i just brought 6 that the shop called "copper rasbora" im trying to find information and cant find none , im getting the feeling its another name for lambchop rasbora but im not sure ..any ideas?
I'm pretty sure its an old name for lambchop rasboras mate. The three main ones that look similar are harlequins, lambchops, and glowlights so once the fish age in you should be able to get a better idea from their size and color.

I think I have one or two Strawberry rasboras in with my chilirs if I'm honest, their lines are different to the rest.

@@GlassBoxDiaries ok mate i thought so , nice one 👍
I'm so over the harlequins as they're everywhere. The chilis are still cute in mixed communities.
Yea its great to see chili rasboras increasing in popularity :)
