@5Pillars Dilly et al, please don't provide us with your views of Muslim family law. You appear not to have an understanding of modernity and are therefore peddling mediaeval Islamic Fiqh which is no longer relevant, either in terms of time or place. Islam's concern, as expressed perfectly in the Qur'an, is with instituting justice, not necessarily to maintain equity as you claim. The problem with traditional mediaeval Fiqh is that it is patriarchal, unjust and outdated. It leads to the turning out of women and children from the safety of the marital home onto the street and penury thereafter. English family law is not perfect, but it at least has mainly prevented this kind of abuse and so is closer in spirit to the Qur'anic prescription of justice. Many aspects of English law are consonant with Islamic law several having been derived from Islam in the first place, e.g. the assumption of innocence until proven guilty and the jury system, the latter having emanated from Maliki Fiqh (see: John Makdisi (1999) North Carolina Review, 77 (5): 1635-1739).

I don’t think that the theory of Pashtuns having Jewish lineage is true, whilst I think there might be some people with strong affiliations, most don’t. I’m Pashtun and my 23andme dna test didn’t have any ties to Jews at all, didn’t even show up on the ancestral calculators either. Pashtuns are afghans originally and they came from central and east Asia

@rew Dr Asif made the claim and ive heard about there being some lost tribes of Israel which settled down somewhere in the Middle East, not sure how credible it is but pathaans to my knowledge and my dna evidence shows that there’s no solid links to that myth. Assalamu alaikum. Brother very good podcast especially the second half because we have a big problem right now for people looking to get married and a lot of problems in marriages you gave very good advice to men and women spot on keep up the good work that you guys are doing
1:14:55 the point of joint family system, remember it doesn't mean leave the parents alone. two brothers can have two houses but obligation towards parents stays on both brothers.
Brother Dilawar needs to differentiate that the environment and economic pressures in Agricultural work is different. Living in the same housing estate has no issues as long as you live in separate houses. There is a unity of family and this is good. We need to realise those who are born in Britain are in an urbanised, financially and economically different environment. Not to mention different culture. These have huge impacts on your outlook

Enjoyed the podcast, was really refreshing! Just want to add re the discussion you had on Tabarruj. - a reason that sisters who engage in this is cos they may have observed men show a liking/ look at women who do engage in overly beautifying themselves openly. And women are weak and when they see this, they feel they need to do it too. Women and men both need to be stronger and more grounded to avoid this issue.
What are your opinions on male muslim sportsmen like ufc footballers boxers etc who get congratulated by the ummah regardless of them not covering their requirement. And what are your opinions about some men who are married to modest women but not modest themselves like, their haircut or wearing shorts not covering knees or thirstrapping gym photos
I love it love it another amazing episode thank you dilly and nice meeting you bro asif absolutely the brother nail it on the head why these day woman became independent because all the responsibilities laid on her shoulder she has do the both of parents work while the man is in the house or he may not like the brother asif said the luck of responsibility and being weak he’s like an existed
The funny thing is, as a pashtun myself, i knew Asif was a pastun from the second i first saw him on the Apprentice. 😂 May Allah bless these two brothers and our Ummah.
1:14:15 Brother Dilly, the adjoining backyard set up is actually advantageous for the womenfolk as it is usually the women's section of the house that meets with the other womens' sections...this provides women who are home-based to socialise and be assisted by fellow women, instead of being isolated in their own homes
Isn't a major part of our eman that is targeted by the enemies loving what Allah loves and hating what He hates, so His mention of all of the attribute of the Jews in the Qur'an; their treachery and killing of Prophets not to mention the statements of major Imams regarding them (refer to ibn al-Qayyim) do we naively ignore all of that and put it aside?
Regardless of registering your marriage, the marriage via nikah is still recognised under British Law should this eventually become apparent in any judicial process.
Ladies absolutely get your marriage registered if you are in the uk. With the amount of abuse that happens in marriages, at least you and your children will be protected in some form should things go sour. Quite silly advice in that respect from the brother
I’m pretty sure Pre-nups are not binding in the UK, I think brother Dilly is thinking US law for Pre-nups apply here. Pre-nups to my understanding only reflects the intent of both parties in the UK, and the courts are supposed to take it into account but they are not legally bound to the agreement
@@abdullahahmad9300hijra lol. If in the UK rebt a separate house for your Islamic wife, and gave a different address for yourself and spend part of the week together. Then they can’t classify you as cohabits. Even if you don’t register the marriage but are living as a couple in the same address for over 7 years she can make a claim. So the no civil marriage does not completely protect you. The main test is whether you lived together and shared for a sustained period

The thing about a nation state, is that borders can only be developed in Islam when their is Caliphate. Within the borders of the caliphate can be many different tribes of people who are able to live autonomously and govern themselves, but they will be subservient to a Caliph. They will not be “presidents”, but they will be governors. They will not be able to unanimously be able to enforce policy that the caliph does not allow. This is what a khariji does. But they will have the same influence of a president of a “nation state” just with a different title as to separate ourself from the kufar. There is a Hadith that says “The Caliphate will remain with Quraysh, and whoever renegades against them, Allah will throw him on his face and send the worst of Allahs creation against them”. This has already happened. So when this umma is ready to be subservient to a man from the lineage of Quraysh, not Najd, not a Turk, not a Mongol, not a Punjabi… then we will see the resurrection of an Islamic Caliphate. Until then, we will get despot leaders, fiat currency, and traitors in positions of authority. And we will have no one except ourselves to blame. If this umma wants to argue with Allah why he decided that Quraysh will lead this umma, then he should find a ladder to the heavens and argue with Allah.
