    I was struggling with it for hours, thank you for the Video. Im using the Jumper T-pro V2 4in1 with the Elrs module and it worked.

    I so needed this. Thank you. Mine did not power up from either the battery or the computer and making sure I had everything connected as you did helped me out.

    Since no one seems to have answered, Telem Ratio is how often ELRS sends telemetry updates to the radio. You can have your radio tell you to land when the voltage matches a condition you setup. There are a couple of videos on how to do that. It's useful if you lose your OSD for some reason. I tend to use 1:64 or 1:32, which means 1 packet in every 64 packets will be a telemetry packet, or on 32, 1 in every 32 packets, etc. Most people don't need any more than 1:64 or 1:32. If you are getting Telemetry Lost errors, you can try a lower value, but I sometimes fly out to half a km and don't have issues on 1:64.
    Secondly, when running ELRS, I use the maximum power available, but switch on dynamic. Most of the time you don't need to output at 500mW or 1W. Dynamic. as I understand it, monitors LQ and RSSI and adjusts power output to achieve the best signal quality. So if you are flying in a big open field and fly 2km away, it may never use any more than 25mW. But if you flew behind several big concrete buildings and the LQ dropped out it would adjust the power to keep the link up. There is a way to monitor and log it on the radio and many people have said when you are flying complex environments like bando's, the power output might jump up to the max you set for a second to keep the LQ from dropping out. I run my radio at max power for that reason, but it doesn't output max power constantly in dynamic mode, only when it needs it.

    Hi mate, great video!!! A quick question... have you experienced any power issues on the AION module connected via the default bay adapter of the v1 tlite?

    • @nxp200
      @nxp200  2 роки тому +2

      I run on 100mW power output and it does drain the battery much faster than using the internal RF such as Frsky, but not so much that it impacts a 3 pack flight session. When I do go out for longer sessions, I plug in a USB C power bank to the controller and basically never run out of power. I would run out of flight packs before the controller dies. It does make it cumbersome to lug around, but if I had to go retrieve a downed drone, I unplug the USB C and it continues to run off the internal battery fine. Hope that helps!

      I have the V1 and the V2 t-lite. The V2 can handle 500mw. If your try to set 500mw on the V1 the radio powers off and boot loops until you remove the module. My V1 will do 250mw but it makes me very nervous. I'm using a molicel p26a

    Is there a internal ELRS module for the T-lite that can replace the internal module the T-lite shipped with?

    • @nxp200
      @nxp200  Рік тому +1

      Not than I'm aware of. Would be great if there was!! I suppose there should be replacement internal modules for the T-Lite ELRS version, so hopefully it's out there and is easy to just plug and play.. time for me to research 😁

    • @nxp200
      @nxp200  Рік тому +1

      Hmm.. looks like there isn't any available. I think the reason might be due to the internal power regulator for the original T-Lite is not the same as the newer T-Lite ELRS version.

    Great video man very helpful. I was wondering about the blue lanyard ring you have on the radio, how would I go about getting my radio to have one like that? It's exactly what I have been looking for, looks like it replaces the light.

      Hi. Sorry, I don't have a tbs tango to test and my other radios don't have the same module bay. Searching around the internet it doesn't seem like many have tried or tested. I found a video of someone installing it onto a FlySky FS-i6X, but it looked very complicated, ie, it wasn't a straight plug and play.

    I see jumper AION requires voltage 5-8V, but jumper t-lite only has 1 battery (4V). Can the module working properly with only using 1 battery (under voltage) on 500mw?

    • @nxp200
      @nxp200  Рік тому

      Oh right. I didn't know it was rated for 5 to 8v. I have been using it for months now on 500mw without issues. I've reduced it to 250mw because it gets a little warm to the touch on 500 and noticed I have to charge the battery more often. When the battery gets low, about 3.4 or 3.5v, the module intermittently cuts off and I've had failsafes (nearby). But that's after using it for 4 to 8 packs per day over about 4 or 5 days and being lazy to charge the controller.

      Jumper T Pro v2 solved the underpowered module at 500mw or higher by redesigning the case to hold 2 18650 batteries in the handles of the controller, which are hooked up in series.

    • @nxp200
      @nxp200  2 роки тому

      Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean, but f you have installed the AION to the T-Lite controller, in the model settings you'll then need to set External RF mode to "CRSF". When the model is selected on the controller, the AION external module should power up. If you select a different model that does not have External RF turned on, the AION will not be powered. I hope that makes sense and helps in some way.

    • @nxp200

      I've just checked it again on mine and all I can see is the manual serial device selection named "/dev/tty.usbserial-0001 Silicon Labs", same as in my video. If yours does not show up, perhaps try another USB cable with an OTG adapter. Also try switching the ends of the cable around, I've noticed that makes a difference to get mine working sometimes (not sure why). If those steps don't work, try flashing it using the WiFi method. There are tutorials out there already, but if you can't find an easy to follow one, let me know and I'll try to record one for you and others out there who are having trouble. Hope that helps!
