There is nothing lower than a spawnkiller. There are SO many games that I quit after like 15 minutes because the start was always a lottery of survival. The most important part of any game is being able to play it.
Agreed. My pet peeve is people who spawn kill or AFK kill. It’s cowardly and cruel. It ruins the game for other ppl. PVP is one thing but at least give the person your fighting a chance to escape or fight back. I had someone AFK kill me multiple times before. Luckily I didn’t lose any loot. But yeah, people like that are just the lowest of the low. I don’t particularly like PVP so I believe in games that aren’t purely based around PVP like Call Of Duty, or so forth. PVP should be an option to be disabled or enabled by the player. Like in Fantasy RPG’s so people can enjoy the game and play quests instead of being spawn camped or so forth that you can’t even play the game.
same, I left a few that I never could even play. I remember an online friend that played one of those and I tried to play it. After the server was shutdown because there were no new players she said she was sad... She was one of the people that did it... pffttt (we played another game to and that is where she told me)
I remember a kind hero in WoW back in the day. It was my first day ever playing. And I was very confused on what to do or where to go. I waved at a random person, just excited to see someone who looked so cool. Turned out it was a really high level player who liked to come to low level areas and protect us from griefers. He showed me an area with PVP and the griefer who tricked noobs into fighting him and then he killed everyone and a ton of NPCs. But my hero guy gets off his mount and takes care of the guy. And then have me like 50 gold. It was one of the coolest video game memories i have. Thank you, Hero

Didnt play WOW but had a high end Inquisitor in EQ2 tricked out with every bell and whistle possible as were my guild mates. We used to love grabbing poorly geared players to tag along as we cleared 12 man raids with 7 toons or mass buffing in the city centers, we would help randoms farm a drop they need by pulling the entire zone at once lol...was rewarding and a /flex at the same time cause some of the reactions we got to the stuff we pulled off was priceless. Not much else to do when you have done it all but start pushing boundaries. Hopefully we made some good memories as well.
I once saw a prolific spawn-camper get surrounded by extremely high-level players. They all proceeded to spawn-camp specifically for that camper for the next two hours. This was in a RuneScape PVP world.
World of Warcraft not long after it's initial release: There was a repeat offender (a rogue) who would exploit pvp immunity, spit on people he corpse camped, and would just generally be vile, anyone that complained would get "i'm just roleplaying" as an excuse, so I single'd him out in all pvp from there on, one match I killed him (and only him) 23 times, he logged in to the Alliance chat to rage at me and I used his own excuse back at him, they played nice after that.
I was a victim of that in WOW once. That's how I learned that you will always respawn at the same graveyard if you talk to the angel, even if you travel to a different graveyard and talk to the other angel.

@christinepayfer2993 massive multiplayer online role playing game. They're pretty typically sandbox/freeplay-oriented. You could say some Minecraft servers are MMORPGs. But generally, what the video is depicting is not typically true. Most games have spawn protection, so you don't just get immediately murdered. World of Warcrafr had a similar problem. Final Fantasy 14 never has this problem.

All within the rules of PVP if one did not agree then they should not have picked a pvp server, all on them not the game but most do not wish to take the only person in fault and that is themselves for their choice not being thought out fully.

In order to combat this make it so that if you kill someone inside the respawn area then the person killed will automatically get one item that the attacker has equipped.
@ yes but since the attacker will permanently loose one of their best items then they wouldn’t attack people anymore, and the killed player is givin a decent item to help them level up. This could be exploited but that just makes it more interesting.
I always thought that if you PK some number of people who are more than 10 levels below you, in 24 hours, your armour turns neon pink for a month of real time. At double that number of kills, your account just deletes. I know some people like PVP games, but spawn camping lowbies is just not something any game needs.
Hold up on the Neon Pink armor, people would absolutely farm it intentionally lol Instead make it so their controls randomly get reversed or changed while playing, might give lowbies a chance to fight back that way as well.
This happened to me when I first started playing these games. I just wanted them to leave me alone so I could find joy in the game. But they proceeded to kill me over and over and laughing about how I couldn't get away. I ended up crying at my computer and quitting the game. People can be so mean. Though I was not too discouraged due to some lovely people and still enjoy multiplayer games.
Just never play anything where you can’t turn off PVP when I started playing Warcraft I was told to join a PVP server that lasted a day. I went to a role-playing server and then I stayed for the next 10 years

That ended did than I expected was sure evil greg would show when he said it was fun and easy. Either sending camper off and/or getting his own kill then liking it, such as remembering that adventurer as mr skip,skip,skip,skiiipppp. Just imagine the target being a speed runner that messed up died and found himself being camped then having greg save u. See that achievement pop up when they compare achievements and then have another from greg killing u have a big congrats adventurer u r the first player ever killed by greg since the games release 5/10 yrs ago. Imagine the feelings he get from that 1st yeah first ever to get this, b4 he realizes wat it truly meant.
I actually had this happen on a mobile game. The dude kept following me even if I tried to go to other parts of the game. It got frustrating cause they kept killing me 😂. Finally had to log off for a while till the person lost interest lol

So when someone did that to me I wrote down his or her character name and then logged out and made a new character that was on the same side as that jerks, put in their name as a friend to my new character and then I could send them messages. I then would start sending them messages telling them what lowlife pieces of crap and cowards they were for doing what they were doing. I would do this for several days and if they did ignore. I would restart it with another new character and keep going till they set for Ignore at least 2 or 3 times. Then after that I do it one more time and tell them that is what they get for making the game not be fun for others just because they can and now you know how it feels. THAT'LL TEACH YA!

I remembered playing a few games and some than this... As a petty person and a Healer, there are times that I hunted those players and some of them stop playing because I stun them when they were hunting monsters. Some just quit for a day while others call back up and it became an unofficial guild war. 😂😂😂😂😂
America's Army Proving Grounds (2002) was the first FPS I ever played. I spawn camped in an attempt to get my very first kill, and was spam cursed in world chat by every player in the session. I have never spawn camped since.
Guys with the philosophy like "but it's for grinding, you can fight back (forget the 30 hours I spent on playing the game without getting any other reward than stat points so I'm stronger than 90% of the players)" or "yes you freely earn the skin colorization when you're level 100 with the character." (it's false, he lied to me and it got me playing the game like a total of 5 to 10 hours for nothing)

As some one who has over 1,600 hours in rs2.5 rs3 and aprox 900 hours in osrs I don't understand

Never happened, Runescape PVP world Lumby is a safe zone. Same with most major cities.

Attacker has better armor than the fresh spawn, so fresh spawn will die instantly with the said item

As someone who has had the alliance kill every single NPC in my starter Town 50 times a day, yes they do respawn.
He says he’s killing noobs but really he’s horrible at PvP and this is the only way to get his achievement done.

This is the main reason why I do not play Rust, or any similar game. Griefers discourage new players and hurt game sales.

The mana boost is always worth losing a bit of DEF on the headpiece.
