Im using an Anker charger and a Belkin MFi usb-a to lightning cable that supports 12watts maximum. Charging is much slower but the phone is practically not heating up at all during charging. Sometimes when I need a quicker top up then I use apple 20W charger + the original cable from the box. And of course not letting the phone sit on 100% plugged in over night and never letting it drop below 40% battery. Between 40 and 90 percent is totally healthy in my opinion. Im not really a heavy user and I usually manage to keep it between 90 and 40 within 24 hours
Just upgraded from the 13 Pro Max, guys. Save your money and don’t do it! It looks virtually the same and the user experience is identical. My battery was at 81% and my carrier gave me the phone for free to stay with them; it’s the only reason I upgraded.

Got my 13 Pro Max battery replaced about a month ago, good as new. Gets me 11 hours of usage regularly. Battery king. Still fast and powerful, good camera, nice screen, flawless phone. Well worth keeping until bigger upgrades are available.
I switched from the 13 pro max to the 16 pro max, it’s a decent upgrade but nothing to write home about honestly. I remember me switching from the iPhone XR to the iPhone 13 pro max felt so much more like an upgrade compared to my recent one.

I agree with you guys in that the 13 is amazing. I have the 13Pro 128 gb. HOWEVER, if your carrier offers a great deal, go for it. Just yesterday, AT&T is giving me, $1000 for my 13Pro, meaning I will be paying only $2.00 more a month to get the 16Pro 256gb. That’s a great deal; slightly bigger screen, better chipset, new battery, more storage, Apple AI… The fact is, as iPhones holds their value, it will drop, meaning you will end up kicking out more money if you wait and then try to upgrade to the latest phone later. So if you can get a good deal with a small amount of money out your pocket, go for it.

The average iPhone user keeps their phone for about 5 years (that’s globally, I think US it’s 3-4 years) as of now the 11 series is the most widely used iPhone. 13 series will probably serve people even longer than the 11 series and 7 series which was just as popular.
Most of my devices last for three and a half to four or five years. The battery will deteriorate. Previously, the device would be slow. Now, it will have an acceptable speed, but the battery needs to be replaced.
I loved my 13 pro max but I was over how heavy it was. I started to really dislike it and the blue. Limited cases I could use because the protective ones would make it more bulky and hard to hold and enjoy. I got the 16 pro and I really love it. Easy texting, video screen is still enjoyable and the battery is pretty good ! If none of these are an issue, save your money! 13 pro max is still great. Prob would have kept it if it was a 13 pro.

Do a battery swap and wait for the 17 Pro Max. The 17 series will have a physical redesign and 12gb RAM which is important for on-device features not just AI
My 13PM is on 80% right now. I was told the same thing about it going below 80%. I asked what the difference would be between 80% and 79%...nothing lol. Performance would still be the same, just would be considered "failed" at apple standards. Just do a battery change.
13 pro max is a beast! Only reason I’m upgrading is because of my charging port, damn thing stopped working and it just takes to long for a full wireless charge. Love the 13 PM tho and it will forever by my favorite IPhone ❤
The 13 pro max was my 1st iphone, I was always android, and I've loved it. My upgrade to the 16 pro max is coming tomorrow, and I really hope I like it! I'm sad to lose the silence button as I use it a lot, lol, but that's cool that it has a usb c!

Don't lie, boy, if they were in the same condition, it would be impossible for the 13 to excel, but the 14 did not provide a battery breakthrough, but only a slight improvement.

Staying with my 13 PM. I appreciate the video and it definitely helped me make that decision. Even with a cracked back glass I see no reason to switch this year. Hopefully the next model is significant enough to make the switch. For now I'll enjoy saving the $$ on my paid off 13 PM.
I must admit that I was a dedicated fan of the iPhone 13 Pro Max 1TB gold. However, after having it stolen, I waited one year and eventually bought the 16 Pro Max 1TB without any regrets. I’ve been able to print on my home computer, the speed is unbeatable, being in graduate school and on a research team, downloading and storage is incredible, and I decided to purchase it in white titanium. It’s absolutely beautiful and I believe I had a hard time letting go of my 13 Pro Max because it was the first iPhone I had ever owned. The white titanium looks like pearl essence outside in the sunlight, cream colored in the evening, and is definitely modern. If there isn’t a reason to upgrade, then don’t. Be confident in doing what’s right for you! ❤
I have an iPhone 8 Plus for when I go hiking, and an iPhone 13 Pro Max. For looking up stuff online, to see if a store is open, or check the weather, browse emails, text, or call someone, I can't notice a huge difference. Sure my 13 has a nicer screen, and better battery, though I guess I just don't care enough as my 8 still gets the job done.
I literally just got the 16 from my 13 and I hate it … the quality feel so flimsy… the 13 felt like I could drop it and it wouldn’t get damage at all. Felt like flip phone protection.. the 16 is light and feels like it’s a play phone .. almost like an expensive toy.
I’m on 12 Pro Max still. I have no reason to upgrade yet. A Dynamic Island and 120hz refresh screen are not make or break features. The USB-C is the only feature I want.

I bought my iPhone 13 Pro Max back when it was first available at pre-order and had it for 3 years it served me very well! I just upgraded to the 16 Pro Max yesterday only because I was offered a $830 trade-in value so I traded it in and got the new phone from Xfinity.
From Iphone 13 Pro Max to Iphone 16 Pro Max. Honestly! I did not feel anything new after 1 month of using. The excitement is still here, but not that much. I'm using the new Camera Control often times when traveling! But other than that! Nothing suprise me a lot. The Brightness in 16Pm is yellowish and the Photos from 16Pm is yellowish too. Same settings with my Iphone 13 Pm. The only problem on my 13 Pm is Over heating 😅. That's it! Battery lasts a day too.
The iPhone 13 Pro Max is the only iphone that has a SIM card and has the 3 nano meter waves for 5g in the USA is convenient to switch out physical sims on other countries and keep the super 5g speeds only available in USA

I traded my 13 pro max for a 16 pro. I’ve had maxes and pluses since the 7 plus and just wanted a smaller phone this time. My 13 pm was a great phone though. But I’m happy to have a lighter phone.

If you're upgrading from a 14 or 15, I'd say it's probably only worth it if you are coming from the non-pro to the Pro versions. Or unless you really beat up your phone or drained its battery life to less than 70%. Otherwise, I'd say you should wait for the 17. I updated from a nearly pristine 14 Pro Max to the 16 Pro Max and I barely feel a difference, or at least not any significant one to completely justify the exchange. If you come from a 13, whatever version, then maybe, yeah, I mean at this point your battery is probably under 70-80%, so you'll definitely notice an improvement. 12 and under, yeah, time for an upgrade, imo.
Thanks for the video. One note - you can't really compare the battery life of the 2 year old phone with a new one. The fair comparison will be a newly replaced battery. Seems an incremental improvement to me - not worth upgrading.
I would like some feedback. I got a 13 Pro Max 1TB (Sierra blue). I love this phone. Recently someone sold me a 15 Pro Max 1 TB (BNIB) for $650 USD. I haven’t opened it yet. Now I’m in a conundrum. Do I keep my 13 Pro Max? I just recently had the battery changed at the Apple Store (under warranty). Should I open and start using the 15 Pro Max and sell off my 13 Pro Max? Or do I sell both my 13 Pro Max AND the (BNIB) 15 Pro Max, and get the latest 16 Pro Max? What is the best value, based on price and benefits?
Was considering the 16 Pro Max from the 13 Pro Max, but went from the 13 Pro Max to the 15 Pro Max, for £375 extra. Still a good upgrade considering the price factor too
Iphone 16 pro max can actually go down to 1hz while the 13 pro max can only go down to 10hz also the 16 line up can go down to 1 nit brightness making it better for those who are on their phone at night
It really depends. If youre not maximizing the 16 pro max usage like play heavy games, take pics and videos. Then the best option is the 13 pro max. Choose wisely

In my opinion yes because the 13 pro max came with the best battery life since the 11 pro max. The 13 also had more thermal control and of course faster and felt more refined than the 12 pro max which had a ton of problems and terrible battery life much like the 15 pro max. Now we have the 16 pro max that is comparable to the 13 pro max so overall we now have a refined 16 pro max 😊.

My 13 PM is currently being fixed after 3 years of ownership. Apple carplay wasn't connecting properly. Also my battery was sitting at 83% so that's also being replaced. Can't wait until it returns I'll keep on using it for at least 2 more years. This video just confirms that not upgrading was better for me as it still holds up really well.
Very informative 😊but I’m very happy with my 11 Pro Max till this day, very fast etc, my battery health at 86% still getting the latest updates too. I even used a 14 plus and 15 pro max and I don’t see the massive speed difference….would you waste money for a hair line speed difference? Not me. The 13 pm had a way better battery, build, and refresh rate. Also, what’s the point of better performance when the display is capped at 60 Hz? I’d take Promotion any day over a16.

Dynamic Island, smaller bezels, bigger size, usb-c, titanium instead of stainless steel making it way more comfortable and lighter. It is not the same

If you replace the battery, the 13 has a better battery life compared to the newer ones. The ram & usb-c are the strongest points to upgrade though.

My family and i have been rocking iphone 13 pro max for years. Husband just got us all 16 pro max because Verizon has a special. Not excited at all about getting a new phone 😒 trying to pump myself up.

I have replaced the battery on my 13 pro max and comopared to my brand new 16 pro max I can't see much of a difference, with the absolutely the same daily usage, i finish the day with 25-30% with both.
I bought my iPhone 13 Pro Max back when it was first available at pre-order and had it for 3 years it served me very well! I just upgraded to the 16 Pro Max yesterday only because I was offered a $830 trade-in value so I traded it in and got the new phone from Xfinity.

From Iphone 13 Pro Max to Iphone 16 Pro Max. Honestly! I did not feel anything new after 1 month of using. The excitement is still here, but not that much. I'm using the new Camera Control often times when traveling! But other than that! Nothing suprise me a lot. The Brightness in 16Pm is yellowish and the Photos from 16Pm is yellowish too. Same settings with my Iphone 13 Pm. The only problem on my 13 Pm is Over heating 😅. That's it! Battery lasts a day too.
I think the iPhone 17 Pro Max would be the real update from 13 Pro Max. 12 Pro Max and earlier would be enjoying the 16 Pro Max more
12 is still good, especially the regular versions that didn't offer much compared to the iPhone 7 and 12.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max is the only iphone that has a SIM card and has the 3 nano meter waves for 5g in the USA is convenient to switch out physical sims on other countries and keep the super 5g speeds only available in USA
My 13 pm battery health 87% still gives me full day usage even 25-30% still remained at the end of the day

I traded my 13 pro max for a 16 pro. I’ve had maxes and pluses since the 7 plus and just wanted a smaller phone this time. My 13 pm was a great phone though. But I’m happy to have a lighter phone.

Nick that’s cap 😂 I upgraded last year to the Natural Titanium 15 Pro Max from my 13 Pro Max Sierra Blue (which I miss dearly). And it didn’t not feel like an upgrade. I felt like I bought the same phone twice. The 16 Pro Max is the S version of my phone now. Apple is falling off 🤦🏾♂️

I love my 13PM! It is a beast with 84% battery health and the only reason why I am upgrading to 16PM is to pass the 13PM down to a family member. I will miss the headset port on the 13PM 😢

If you're upgrading from a 14 or 15, I'd say it's probably only worth it if you are coming from the non-pro to the Pro versions. Or unless you really beat up your phone or drained its battery life to less than 70%. Otherwise, I'd say you should wait for the 17.
I updated from a nearly pristine 14 Pro Max to the 16 Pro Max and I barely feel a difference, or at least not any significant one to completely justify the exchange.
If you come from a 13, whatever version, then maybe, yeah, I mean at this point your battery is probably under 70-80%, so you'll definitely notice an improvement.
12 and under, yeah, time for an upgrade, imo.

Thanks for the video. One note - you can't really compare the battery life of the 2 year old phone with a new one. The fair comparison will be a newly replaced battery. Seems an incremental improvement to me - not worth upgrading.

I would like some feedback. I got a 13 Pro Max 1TB (Sierra blue). I love this phone. Recently someone sold me a 15 Pro Max 1 TB (BNIB) for $650 USD. I haven’t opened it yet. Now I’m in a conundrum. Do I keep my 13 Pro Max? I just recently had the battery changed at the Apple Store (under warranty). Should I open and start using the 15 Pro Max and sell off my 13 Pro Max? Or do I sell both my 13 Pro Max AND the (BNIB) 15 Pro Max, and get the latest 16 Pro Max? What is the best value, based on price and benefits?
Was considering the 16 Pro Max from the 13 Pro Max, but went from the 13 Pro Max to the 15 Pro Max, for £375 extra. Still a good upgrade considering the price factor too
Iphone 16 pro max can actually go down to 1hz while the 13 pro max can only go down to 10hz also the 16 line up can go down to 1 nit brightness making it better for those who are on their phone at night

It really depends. If youre not maximizing the 16 pro max usage like play heavy games, take pics and videos. Then the best option is the 13 pro max. Choose wisely
I still have the 8 plus no issues slower than iPhone 14 but a fraction of a second, I will replace my phone when either it quits or apple bring something really Different and new.

Nah 14 Pro vs S23, two different years. Samsung kept moving their launch date earlier and earlier, to keep from being compared to Apple, so 14 Pro since Samsung wants to be sneaky.

I had the 13 pro max before I switched carriers, that is the only reason I went with the 15 pro max and I am sticking with it until it craps out

In my opinion yes because the 13 pro max came with the best battery life since the 11 pro max. The 13 also had more thermal control and of course faster and felt more refined than the 12 pro max which had a ton of problems and terrible battery life much like the 15 pro max. Now we have the 16 pro max that is comparable to the 13 pro max so overall we now have a refined 16 pro max 😊.

My 13 PM is currently being fixed after 3 years of ownership. Apple carplay wasn't connecting properly. Also my battery was sitting at 83% so that's also being replaced.
Can't wait until it returns I'll keep on using it for at least 2 more years.
This video just confirms that not upgrading was better for me as it still holds up really well.

I even used a 14 plus and 15 pro max and I don’t see the massive speed difference….would you waste money for a hair line speed difference? Not me. @@reesetheisoking3502 the only way the base 15 was better than the 13 pro max was performance (and that too, barely), the addition of Dynamic Island, and slightly better ultra wide and wide cameras. The 13 pm had a way better battery, build, and refresh rate. Also, what’s the point of better performance when the display is capped at 60 Hz? I’d take Promotion any day over a16.
