DEF pump filter replacement VOLVO CUMMINS ISX X15 D13 DPF

Today I’ll be showing how to replace the DEF filter on a Volvo D13. This also applies to Mack MP8, Cummins ISX, Freightliner DD13 DD15 and will be similar process on other trucks that use the Bosch DEF pump.

Just buy premium tech tools software, you can temporarily delete at will to keep trucking. Theres a feature called exit inducement that disables derate. No need to do a delete and get yourself in trouble.

What are the symptoms of a bad filter?

It will make your def pump work harder, leading to premature wear of the pump, and lower DEF doser spray quantity during regen.
