Here is the link to download my patches, they are in KK Sound librarian format. www.dropbox.com/s/hzzpzswu1qdjfsu/Marccus%2050%20patches%20for%20KK.kklib?dl=0 Beware of this, If you load these patches straight to your KingKORG your 50 first patches will be overwritten and rest of the patches will be initialized. So to avoid losing your precious data, save all the current patches that you have in your KingKORG to your KK Sound librarian, or simply rearrange patch locations with your KK Sound librarian before you load these patches to your KingKORG.
Hello Marcus, you are a good Player, a very good Programmer and a nice Guy who gave his work to others just for fun….The World Need more Persons like you….Thank You for this and have a good Time....Keep on rockin….. :-)
Thanks, I agree some of the commercial patches aren't worth of buying, and if people just would spent more time with their synths, they would easily learn to program patches that pleases them personally.
thanks so much for sharing Marccus, been looking to buy a king korg for a while now and can't wait to get one and try out these sounds for myself and it's amazing people like yourself who share your creations for others to enjoy that has got me back into creating music after a long time out. thanks very much.
Absolutely superb . My KK has been gathering dust but I can’t wait to load these in. Many thanks for taking the time to program these gorgeous patches that show how versatile this can be😊
Thanks, I program patches for playing and making music. I think that many other programmer makes efx-type of an patches. Theirs synth patches attempt to showcase the power of the synth engine, rather than be musically useful.
@@marccusmusic Totally agree. Many demos show what kinds of sounds a synthesizer is capable of. But later, most of those sounds are very difficult to use in a mix or in a song.
I bought the black edition on release but couldn’t get on with the workflow too much menu diving which was a shame i sold it a month later, agree has some great sounds and these patches showcase it well
Yes there is quite a lot menu diving when you get deep in programming, but it doesn't bother me. There is also available commercial sound editor for kingKORG from Soundtower.
Some of these sounds would be great to have for my style of original stuff, like the Marcato Bows, Juno Pad and others. Can never get enough of Rush and Subdividions! Well done. Happy to see people creating for the KingKORG, its a great instrument. Re: your patches: Selling? Giving away?
Thank you for your kind words. I agree Rush is a great band and KingKORG is a great synth and dead easy to program. I'll give those patches for free and put the link to them later on.
Just purchased the black edition. The Emerson patch is super sick man. Your playing skills and programming skills are top notch brother. Cheers! P.S. how do you like the keybed on this synth? I read some complaints about it but every one I see that demos it doesn't seem to have a complaint about the action.
@@jamest.135 I think some of the very early King Korgs had poor keybeds. I remember playing with Korg Krome (same keybed I think) in store about 6 or 7 years ago and thinking the keybed was "disgusting". The keys had a lot of lateral movement. I have the black KK as well and the keys are OK.
I see you have to korg kronos. I have the kronos. Been debating on getting kingkorg. Being that i have thr kronos do you think the kingkorg will offer enough even owning the korg kronos?
I personally would not choose KingKORG over the Kronos. First of all Kronos has more sound engines than KK and a proper clonewheel organ with drawbars. Of course KK's analog modelling engine is very capable with different modelled filters, but overall Kronos has 3 analog modelling synths. To be honest the KK's samples are not the best around, so if you need convincing pianos, strings or other acoustic instruments KK is not the right choice. On the other hand if the analog modelling with good filter emulation, and with some extra goodies is what you are looking for then I can recommend KK.
Well, there are some organ patches in the original factory presets as I remember, but not many. There are also some sampled organ waveforms in KK. In those two I programmed for my KK, I only used the raw synth waveforms like sine wave etc..
WOW...Great job! Very well done. I just got a Black KingKorg. I hope I can program like you one day. Any chance of making another video with the sounds that the KinKorg come with?
Thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately I am very busy right now and I have initialized all the preset factory patches. So not anytime soon but maybe someday I'll make the video.
marccusmusic I’m currently spending the first day with my KK today, and I can see exactly what your talking about. It serves a purpose all my other analog gear does not. It’s an amazing instrument.

Awesome, awesome, awesome marcusmusic! Thanks!!!!!!!!! :)
THX! Have a nice life :)
Thanks for providing these to the KingKorg fan base.

Thank you for your kind words. It's always nice to share something, that can make people happy :)
un set up très cool avec d'excellentes pièces d'équipement très complémentaire. un superbe travail de sound design! 👍
Sounds very good to my ears !! 🤩
These sound great! Definately my taste
Amazing man! Your patches are among the best and superior to most of the patches for the KingKORG that offered for sale.
Thanks, I agree some of the commercial patches aren't worth of buying, and if people just would spent more time with their synths, they would easily learn to program patches that pleases them personally.

you're welcome
That room makes me happy.
Thank you for the patches.
I will have to buy this synth to use those patches 🥴😬 i will. Thanks !

At least I find a demo from this synth with interesting and usefull sounds. You have VERY good taste for patches!

these are so great, thank you!!
Thanks for demonstrating and particularly for sharing these patches!
You're welcome!
Thank you.
Great sounds! I bought my KK just after it came out and am still in love with it! It works great in conjunction with my Kronos.
Thanks, I agree that KK and Kronos are good combination. I saw the video where Cory Henry used them conjunction, when he played with the Snarky Puppy.
@@marccusmusic I saw that video too. I'd love to get his lead sounds. Not to mention his talent!
Amazing you are a lucky keyboard Player and not a sequencer dudler! Great sounds and great playing!
Thank you for your kind words. You're right, sequencing is lame, comparing to real playing.
Thank you!
very well done, Marcus! Good luck for your channel!
Thank you for your kind words!
Sounds great! Thanks for the video. 👍👍
Thanks for watching.
marccusmusic forgot to to mention, very nice playing as well.
Many of these I like very much, Thank You.
You're welcome.
Spasiba,good stuff
Man this synth is very versatile. Do want!
Yes it is, but also underrated synth.
your stage piano reminds me of Supertramp, will try it on my king korg tonight. thank you
You're welcome. I guess there's a little bit similar kind of clarity in that piano sound, it really cuts through the mix.
The "Subdivisions" and "Clean Pipes" sounds are stellar!!
Thank You :)
Cool video! Have the very same AKG monitor headphones. Looking to sell off some of the gear that I don't use for a King Korg. Very nice sounds
Thanks! KingKORG is a good investment and a real gem.

Ultra generous of you Sir! :)

Thanks! well, I think the keybed action is quite light, but when you get used to it, it's not an issue.
Cheers Thanks! Light action is fine, I was mainly concerned about wobble or the keybed itself feeling springing and unsupportive.

Are there more organ/hammond sounds for the King? Thanks

Do you have any more aggressive patches in a separate batch? These are a bit soft. You need screaming patches that work well with the tube
Do you have the synth? I ordered it a few days ago, that’s why I ask.
I still own the synth, and will never sell it. It's nice addition to any synth rig.
