Hi, Really useful video. There are not enough on youtube on how to use the King Korg. I am having the same trouble with assigning already saved patches to different timbres. I cannot figure out how to do it. Can you please go over the last tip in detail with either a reply to this comment or a new video showing how to from scratch setup the split you demonstrate. (LH : Pad, RH : Lead). Thanks!
Hi there! Great video and explanations! I have been in a bit of a big doubt here... I have a Kronos 73 and want a small synth to complement my set. But I don't know which to choose: KingKorg or Nord Lead4? Which would you advise to go for?
Maurício Valim they're both amazing synths, it's a tough decision to make! The Nord will certainly have a different 'feel' of sound to the KORG... Have you tried out both side by side? That will surely help you make up your mind :)
Im thinking to get one for live Gigs , How is the Sound quality played Live , one thing makes me worried, is ; almost everything sounds good one UA-cam , but the real thing might differ , similar situation happened to me in the past with one of the Kurzweil boards , I loved it when I listened to the Sound demos on YT , bought it on Ebay , and sold it a few weeks later , What Do you guys think , I need something like All-Rounder which you can take to the stage and Play different genres , to include bread and Butter Sounds such as Pianos, E Pianos, Nice strings , Brass , and Creamy smooth Leads .. This, or KORG TR ?? Please share your experience , anyone ?????
My only 2 but more profi tips for KingKORG: 1 dont buy this poor china hobbymusic synth imitation if you dont like masochism 2 find and buy a real synth such as Korg Poly 61, Polysix, vintage MS leadsynths, PSS-50 for accompainment etc and put your soul into your music ;-)
i own the real analog ones and the king korg is more fun to play, has smooth filters, and is about 90 percent of the real sound , so in a mix or live its perfect. this board is a steal at the price.....buy it
Countrymetalman those aren’t profit tips. They are just your opinion. I actually own every vintage synth the KK emulates. It’s filters are amazing for the money with better analog control, and I can leave my irreplaceable vintage gear at home. And oh yeah, stereo outs and MIDI. You would be a fool not to own this.
I just picked a King Korg 2.5hrs drive €540. I don't know why every household doesn't own one of these! That recreation of Satisfaction. Quality!
can‘t get enough of these things :) thank you
great and useful little vid on the KK, many thanks
2:53 I haven't heard that song Satisfaction in years, wow

Hello, have you some video how can i make split, or layer on kingkorg?
I don't understand how to do the split. I can't select a different timbre to right hand.

+Ian Navran Same doubt here! Did you learn how to do it?
How do you choose the program you want to split with? Manual is awful
How do I change the voices when doing splitting?
Yo tengo el mismo problema... no puedo cambiar el timbre B, modo split
Love the Toto song at the end!
having trouble with the filter envelope. Attack only works on some patches
Nice Synth good Sounds are drums of Board ?

1:25 "I've got this synth sound here" *proceeds to play Nine Inch Nails riff*
I thought it was Lady Marmalade lool
Does King Korg require external speakers?
yes
Yes, or normal cellphone earphones also does the trick.
can you run external audio through the filters and effects and can you import pcm waves?

A little for what it can do, the superficial demonstration.
Not very explanatory.

Countrymetalman what the fukk are you talking about??
You idiot. Look at the vids comparing the KK's filters to the classics. A PSS50 is a toy. btw.
