We just work from 2 old drain pipes, work just as good and very cheap, these look decent tho. Hangs from brackets in the back. Worked perfect for years now.
On the tube for the brush end you can put a half moon cap in, then cut a profile slot in the cap to suit the pole, this will prevent the poles from sliding and has a fixed position 👍
Great job. Can't beat saving money. Let me know how it holds up mounting them there. I mounted some pole holders to the roof and they pulled out so now I screw a piece of timber up first with plenty of screws then mount to that.
Good job. Yeah I was quoted £ 1.300 for one of their trolley systems plus a pole etc. I declined obviously. One of my sons manages a screw fix depot here in Woking so happy days.!!
nice video i noticed you pop riveted your holders in would it work with self tapping screws . but maybe berrer your way as the bulge from pop rivet would hold it better. thank's for sharing

Just done our van with this, worked a treat, cheers for sharing this 👍
Glad it helped
Thanks mate, I’m on it now

Thought about that but going to see how we go for a couple of days first.

In the front of the tube - where the pole brush is - on the edge put some cloth .... will hold pole in place :-) Regards
Brilliant! Thanks mate! Just used this to do the same! Top man
You're welcome mate.

I see no reason self tappers won't work but there is a chance they may vibrate loose over time so perhaps a dollop of loctite.
Superb video! I bet xline love you!😂How did you secure the back plates to the roof? Would like to see a vid on the new system setup
Thanks👍🏻
Was going to rivet them but broke rivet gun so screwed instead
I superglued an old squeegee rubber to the inner rim of the pipe. It protects the pole from getting scratched and stops it sliding as much.
Get a patent on that
@@wswindowcleaning6090 Perhaps I could charge £50 plus vat for it.😂
Great idea dude
which part of the pipe.
@@timhancock5556 where abouts did u glue it
Hi, great video, you say you broke the pop riveter, what screws dis you use then to fit them please
Just self tappers. Stainless.
Great tips as all ways 👍👌✌
Just what I need 👍🏻 what kind of screws did you use for the back plates
Just self tappers Paul. Drill a small pilot hole and they sink right in.
Should of made the rear drop a little so head sits a bit higher than pole base
I hear what you're saying but the heads are close enough to the back door in this case that it's no issue.
why?
Down pipe guttering £5.49 a m 💪🏻
I find Screwfix usually cheapest for it.
Very nice .... what’s the size of your tank Darren. Looks so much small then your old mate.
Deceptive Dave it's 850 L
Green Pro Clean Ltd where’s the video on it 👍
👍🏻
Nice idea. Agree about xline, terrible customer service and ridiculously overpriced
