Thats why I feel its good to try at least a good amount of dresses you never know
Me, too, although mine was from the JC Penney catalog back in 1973. Only $150 when other women around me getting married were spending in the low thousands, and it was a beautiful dress.

If you love it who cares what your mom says. You don’t need to try on a million dresses, if you find the one that gives you the feeling you’re looking for and makes you feel beautiful then anyone else’s opinion doesn’t matter. The first bride already knew before she went to the shop that she loved that dress so it’s not like she didn’t at least window shop online. She looked so happy and beautiful in that dress
I hear what you are saying but look at the comments. Everyone thinks the second bride is stunning, but the only comments on the first bride are nothing of that sort. Why? Because it really didn't look that great on her.
Melissa talked herself into that dress. Mom was correct. It really wasn't even that flattering, in my opinion. But the second bride? Oh. My. Goodness. THAT was beyond stunning. PERFECT for her and she rocked it! This is the difference in pulling the right consultant in my opinion. Wanting to make a sale or wanting to make your bride.
@@RRM2021I agree with you. She’s quite pushy and I only ever see Dianne aiming for commission. Mum was right imo and I think she saw through her. Yes she did look amazing in the first dress but yet again she wasn’t offered the chance to try something that was similar within her budget. The style of dress is not unique and the detail on it wasn’t either. I also thought the detailing looked grubby but that could have been the lighting.
I did exactly what the first bride did. Looked through the bridal magazines, showed the sales lady what I liked. She knew exactly I what wanted. I tried on 2 dresses, and I was done. I bought the first one. It was exactly what I wanted and even more beautiful than what I had in mind. I bought that first dress and no regrets, it was perfect.
I completely agree with the first bride's mom. Dianne did not do anything except put the costliest dress on first and push for it. All the others did not have any beading that the bride was looking for. Good that they didn't buy it immediately. There is nothing wrong with thinking through and then Making a decision.
You people? Not the best first impression (2nd consultant). If there's a maximum number of people allowed, just tell them that when they book the appointment. That being said, the second bride was absolutely stunning. Great choice!
The mom wasn’t paying for it or wearing it. Why did the bride let her have a say in her own decision? “I don’t think you can find you’re dress in just an hour and a half”? How much shopping did she do for her own dress? 🙄 Also, OMG! The second bride looked fabulous in her dress.^^ I don’t think I’ve never seen that dress on any other bride before.
Having someone politely look out for your best interest ? The dress was not made for her figure and was above her budget , she needed to try more styles unlike the second bride. luckily that's how my mother in law is and I prefer that over going along with me and then I show up with an unflattering 5K dress that I bought without too much thought

I usually side with the bride, but Mum's right this time. The dress didn't flatter her. It would have been okay on a taller bride. But a shorter bride like her needs less dress and subtle embellishments.
