Do you rcommend this set up for a 2002 Sr5 2wd with 189,000, I go camping with my gear and ice box it has a front brushguard and rear tail light brushguards. It's my daily driver everthing stock I just go on trails.
Just4Fun the 891 was designed for the Prado. the 906 was designed for the 4Runner. the 891 is very stiff/harsh for the 4Runner without a couple hundred pounds back there. the 906 is supposed to be perfect for the 4Runner. the 891 yields anywhere from 3-3.25" lift on a 4Runner. the 906 yields about 2-2.25" lift on a 4Runner. Rides great with my rig!
ill be doin mine shortly. all Oldman. Front: 90004/883 Rear: 60028/891, JBA uppers and diff drop. awaiting it all from Compton to northern British Columbia..so soon *excitement!!!* also ordered front high clearance coastal offroad plate bumper and the rear w dual swingouts. thats what led me to all yer vids. Ruby is lookin good matey..I cant wait to get my shit going before the spring melt and get back up into the Rockies here I British Columbia. love the helper too..reminds me of my boy haha..ill have to enlist him to help me as well..free labor right ..well kinda lol
JF Outdoors Right on. Well purchased 890s early this morning with 1.5 Daystar rear Spacers. Weight load will be no more then 200lb so should be good to go. My current setup. Front - Premium preloads with 1” spacer = 23.5 center hub to fender. Rear - Weak Moog coils with 2.5 Daystar spacer = 23.5. 890s will provide 23” center hub to fender after settle. Adding 1.5 Daystar spacer on top will get me were I need to be = 24.5 Solid performance with mild rake will finally be had on my rig
Update: So much bad with my formula. Installed 890s with Daystar 1.5 spacers finding rake too extreme. I figured 1” rake ended with 1 1/4” driver side / passenger side 1 1/2” After couple weeks it settled slightly. What a freaking mess! I ended up pulling 890s , cutting Daystar spacer down on table saw & reinstalling to achieve level & comfy rake. I’m very happy with end result! Center hub to fender measurements. Front 23 1/2 Rear 24.2 Rakes not as drastic looks & drives fantastic.
@@jfoutdoors4337 when you did the front did you put the 5MM trim spacer on the driver side? When I installed mine there was not much boltlenghth left wondering if this is normal or correct
I’m on the fence between the 891 and 890 spring for the fear of the ride quality (unloaded). Do you find that the ride quality with the 891 to be tolerable driving around when it’s not loaded in the back? Awesome video btw, I’m sure the 4Runner will be around for your helpful son to inherit it!
Waiting for that UPS dude or dudette myself . *(891's should be here tomorrow, 2883's got here today and 5100's hopefully tomorrow as well. Best part of the video is the interaction between you and your boy. Good vid sir Thanks ; )

Great video!! I have a 2003 Limited and need to do coils and shocks in the rear. XReas died!!! How long did it take you from start to finish? Thanks Charlie
I actually prefer to hunt with a bow and arrow. Yes my family and I eat everything we kill. I do not think I am a big man. Unlike you though, I am not a pussy and can take care of myself. Lastly, hunting is biblical.
How much kit, price ? tank you.
Just saw that this was 2 years ago, how is the rear now? Did it sag?
before I sold it all was great!
I have a 5th gen and want a 3rd gen sooo bad.i mean I have a 3rd gen just no engine, transmission, or front wheel or steering wheel no seats at all…….

How many inches overall in the rear ?
Did you get the rear diff drop kit?or what inch lift do you have?
No diff drop

What’s the weight capacity on the 891s? I’m currently using the toytec 3” but still has a sag when I have a heavy load
200lbs 3 years later 😅
What tire size on your 4runner
Look biger!
Are you using the stock Strut with the OME coils? If so how did it ride and last?
Bilstein
Why do you keep snorting like a bison? Good video though. I am going to do the same to my 4runner.
I have a disability.....
Good video man! About to bust out my OME 906’s and today and put them in since I had some rear sag going on. Thanks for the help
Hassan El-Ghit thanks! And you bet!! Have fun!!
Have you got the front wheelers t1 springs installed yet? Is it pretty level with the 891 rears?
Aspireonthego yes. It actually sits perfect. Video To come
Jearred Foruria Outdoors Awesome! Thinking of running the same setup. Is that with the front set at the lowest perch?
Aspireonthego yes. Lowest perch

Thinking about getting those coils also. Looks great! What’s the measurement from the center of hub to fender?
