I'm really glad he spoke on how emotionally tired he was as a stay home dad. As a SAHM, people don't get it. They think it's so easy but you really need time to adjust!! It's definitely rewarding but not a walk in the park.
SAHD of 9yrs here. Trust that I know the lane and the cost. Definitely a misconceived position at the least.
Stay at home for a 14 month old. She wakes up at 3 am 5 am then 7 am I’m exhausted… even my husband thinks it’s nothing and easy
Yeah but now you know what its like to be a mother. A woman working 9-5 is still expected to come home cook, get the kids pr eff pared for next day etc. But a stay at home dad is viewed as heroic!

Dam….. I needed to hear this. I’ve been going thru some of the same things about running a black male lead business among a sea of non blacks and supporting my whole family and the pressure is unbelievable. There are days that run together and no time to rest or break down because the next fight is coming. Hey Anthony let your boy know that there are some out here relating to his journey!
Children will make you become a man, that is VERY true!!!! Once I had my SECOND son, I was 😳, I gotta figure something else out. That’s when I went into GRIND mode. Had two jobs for FOUR years STRAIGHT, to change my families future. Now we’re up.

I have watched this young man's videos with his youngest son and thought they were so endearing. I had no idea that he built a whole business by just being authentic and real. That part is even better! The part where it was said that men were inspired by watching him, letting them know they can be good fathers, is awesome! We truly do not know the magnitude and influence that we can have over people...people are hungering and thirsting for truth, honesty, and hope. As a senior woman with 5 grown children and a 16-year-old black man son coming up in this world, Glen and Yvette's story warms my heart that this generation is going to be alright---ya'll are navigating these waters the best you can with what you got. I am proud of Mr. Anthony O'neal and Mr. Glen Henry for showing a different narrative of what black men are capable of and are doing! (BTW- I've shared this video with my tribe of young people 🙂)
Thank you AO for your inspiring me. I am learning a lot on your channel. I am mother of 3 kids under 4 years, wife and working full time 8-5, M-F. Plan is to be self employed, I don’t know how, so I can be available for my kids, pay our debts, buy a house in a good school district and build generational wealth.
AO thank you for this episode of the Table. I am so glad I listened to this session. I am currently a stay at home dad. Our son was struggling in school. In 2020 when COVID-19 broke and he had to stay home we began to see all the difficulties he was having. I started working with him and have seen him grow tremendously since then. The following year he made honor roll and has continued to excel since. I have made the sacrifice and it has caused much negative talk from family and friends. i have been trying to figure out everything and was not sure. Interestingly some of the things AO's brother-in-law said about creating a content pyramid are some of the very things the Holy Spirit told me to do with the content placed on Facebook.
