As a plane lover and living just behind this airport, ive never experienced this close plane spotting from our own airport. I fo appreciate this and thanku very much
Another fantastic video as always but I felt a little sad knowing that soon the roar of the JT8D will be a thing of history as those airframes are getting up there in age. Keep em coming my friend!
Jet Turbine Duct powerplants should be museum projects by now. The industry will not achieve Net Zero obligations by 2050 if deliberate and consistent action is not taken to address operational and embedded aviation emissions and overall fuel related efficiency.
@@explorelondon3695 I think net zero by 2050 is a fallacy since energy density of battery technology is nowhere near capable of replacing the practicability of combustion propulsion in commercial aviation. If industry genuinely wanted net zero, they need to revisit nuclear propulsion and possibly even beamed energy systems
You just got a new subscriber. Here is a tip to make the niche of this channel grow, just give a brief explanation of where the plane is going the things happening to the plane as it is landing and taking off. Capacity, weight estimate, possible speed, etc. and you have the attention of the subscribers. Nonetheless, this a good job and a good video.
KQ some years back did away with 767 which are still operational now they are struggling with capacity. The HiFly leases are a testament, one wonders if the wet leases are even viable now that it seems the route they want to take. Embrears were not really a good decision too. How they wiggle themselves out to get agile again is in doubt. Good job for the videos
@Josegimu In a touch and go manoeuvre the Aircraft lands (without coming to a full stop) then accelerates to take-off again. A go around is like an aborted landing, probably due to sudden change in weather conditions ,a missed approach or something on the runway
@@Josegimu you do a go around, after you have been instructed by the control tower mostly due to traffic ( aircrafts crossing the runway, late take offs etc or if by a pilots judgement it's not safe to land due to bad weather, wildlife, a late touch down etc A touch and go, mostly happens during a pilots training, but also there may be other reasons such as a late runway incursion by other aircrafts, wildlife etc
How the hell did you get that kind of clearance? I once stopped my car on Mombasa rd just to remove my jacket and cops were all over me. jeez! Apparently I'm not supposed to stop on the flight path.
International plane spotters would die to get your spot.Good job from a new subsriber.
