I love this era of you meeting your boyfriend, getting engaged, married and then having a baby moon ❤ all without showing us his face!!! You deserve the best and I cannot wait for your mum vlogs which will probably including lots of baking 😊
Grace, it must be said, you are Fab! You will make such a lovely mum. And watching your travel vids absolutely convinces me that if you ever led a small tour group i would just have to find a way to join you. you relish all the moments. God bless you!
I’m laughing so much at the tranquil pool scene at 12:43 and kesha - backstabber blairing😂 thank you for these lovely vlogs, grace. I feel like this is such a special time and I feel so lucky to watch 🤍
My auntie got chatting to a couple in Italy many years ago; exactly the same situation as you. Then 4 years later she was in Singapore and bumped into them again in another restaurant! They lived in Spain and My Aunt lived in Devon! What are the actual chances 😂😂😂 They now keep in touch regularly! So never say never Grace! ❤
sorry but i feel like i have to debunk this gelato myth non-italian people coming to visit have. Whether it’s stored in a covered tub or on display it’s not a good indicator for quality and deliciousness. Several gelato chains known to be mediocre actually keep their ice cream in the tubs (grom, venchi, amorino to name a few) as does rivareno (the place you got gelato from in rome) which is just a little above average compared to these i just referenced. This is not to say that all places who choose to present their ice cream in this way are bad, just like not all places which have it on full display are automatically to avoid. It is very far from being so actually. You can rely on common sense and draw your own conclusions if you see any bright colours and plastic tags inserted in the middle of the ice cream you are about to be served… Seeing the gelato you’re getting can be informative and useful: if its out on display and kept at open air, then it’s likely they won’t be able to serve it anymore after a half day - it would show when no longer as fresh !!! as an italian born girl who eats gelato every day - regardless of the season i am adamant about this point a reliable marker for great ice cream would be for example the amount of flavours the shop has available at the same time: small batches and fewer options means less waste and fresher, way better tasting gelato !!! perhaps there was no need for this comment to be this long, at least it shows how passionate i am about the topic ahahaha
This comment may be a little late as I'm just catching up on videos (sorry), but I really appreciate it - not only is it great to read something about a topic someone is passionate about, but I love the clarification and knowledge from someone who knows what they're talking about :)
Last spring, I went to Florence with my dad, and we stopped at that biscuit shop you showed at the end, the older women working there gave us a box of them for free because the store was closing for the day. So kind!
I thought the tower was better than the dome. You didn't miss much. Although it is quite rough to climb. I felt the same, every time you get to a landing you realise there's more. 😂😂 Florence is so beautiful.
Heads up anyone going to Florence and the leather market. A lot of the designs and items being sold in the leather market are knock offs of genuines small designers located in Florence. Please do your research before going if you want a genuine leather product by a genuine designer.
You two are the best travelers! Grace your extensive research really pays off. One of the annoying thing about being a nurse is holding one's breath as Grace attempts to induce labor climbing ancient stairs to the very top of a tower. Amazing view though. You look absolutely beautiful! I wish much joy to you and your dear husband.
Im also so envious of this video. Probably why i put off watching it. How you can just go over to italy, with little planning or anything. Then i have to plan almost 2 years in advance because its so far away, and everything is so expensive that i have to try and ensure the holiday will be worth it. Like its an entire 24hr flight to get to europe
That's life. I went into a church actually seeking my OH who had gone in. I was wearing a sleeveless dress, mid thigh ( I wouldn't normally attempt to go into a church dressed like it), but others were being allowed in in shorts and vests and I got told I couldn't go in 😮
Oh my what the heck…you can absolutely have steak when you’re pregnant! One of the best things you can eat. Who’s saying you can’t these days… p.s. what heatwave?! Where?
Shame to miss the iron by forgoing beef. Bet if you told an Italian chef you were pg he would make sure the beef was well done. Italians seem to be more respectful of pregnancy, here in America as well. 😊
Can I just ask why you don’t show your husband Grace? It would be so much nicer on your videos if we could just see yous two experiencing everything and as yous are going to be parents I just thought it would be amazing to see both of your reactions/personality ❤😢
I’m Christian - Church of England - and I know very little about Catholicism. I don’t think it’s a given that all Christians will learn about all the variations of Christianity (there are SO many and they are all SO different) 🤷🏻♀️
I’m glad you’re doing so well financially that you can afford an expensive holiday and a major kitchen renovation in the same week - especially with the huge expense of being parents coming up

For anyone who has been feeling resentful, do keep in mind that Grace started working as a model in her teens, worked UA-cam through the whole of uni, (and volunteered) and now they have two salaries. She also lived at home through uni rather than incurring higher expenses living away. We don’t know details of their personal finances but we can infer that a lot of this success is due to just hard work and being prudent. Trips like this will be part funded by business expenses/write off through Grace filming it. Otherwise we wouldn’t be seeing it. In summary, start earning young, don’t over commit and keep at it. It does pay off. People that don’t start earning until their mid twenties, already have a pile of debt by then due to Uni etc are a decade behind where Grace put herself. There are many reasons they might be in that position, some unavoidable, but it’s worth thinking about. I look back to uni three decades ago and realise I missed all the opportunities it afforded such as placements and field trips, which were how you get experience and make connections. This was because I was terrified of getting into debt and was doing paid work just to avoid it. But it wasn’t helping my career which was actually counterproductive. In hindsight I should have taken out a small debt and used the opportunity. But that might not have been the right decision for someone else. Another option (which I did later) was to earn the money first and then go.

Missed opportunity to call this series "Flogmas" (for Florence)!
The bread soup is Ribollita... enjoy....

La bistecca fiorentina is a must when in Florence..maybe next time 😊
Amazing! That sandwich looked delicious.❤
Hi Grace, would you mind to post the link to the dress? It’s gorgeous!!
I had the worst hay fever in Florence . Still loved the place though
Could you link the Amazon dress pleeeaase? 😊
I hope you find some baby advent calendars this year!
Thank you much love xx
Ch in Italian is pronounced as k so it is pork-etta for porchetta.

Mr Grack took the smallest bite out of your cookie to try it, what a gentleman ☺️
Why have the got Christmas stuff available now?
Because now is when the tourists travel, and the merchants can sell seasonal stuff twice.
@@LK-xc2gh ohhh ok that sounds smart - thanks
I bet you're having pregnancy rhinitis, not hayfever.
No steak? I don't understand why. Especially if it is grass fed beef.
Can't have raw meat in pregnancy and steak is usually not cooked through :)

Grace has shared she has suffered from hay fever her whole life
Grace said in a Tiktok or something that she can have steak if it's fully cooked, but then it won't be enjoyable.

Perhaps his job or something he can't!
Not everyone wants to be plaster all over the internet. She respects his wishes
Mr Grack has a very different accent. Grace is so understandable....him not so much.
Because he's behind the camera.
That's funny, I find his a bit more refined and easier to hear. Both are lovely
Not sure who you’re listening to. His accent is a bit more “well spoken” much easier to understand
For such a Christian girly I’m suprised at the lack of knowledge of Catholicism
That's quite a bold statement - not all Christians are completely clued up on Catholicism, just so you know
