Pro Tip if you want to visit a really fantastic chocolate factory: Austria Zotter Chocolate in Styria! You get to taste as much chocolate as you like from every single step of the chocolate making process, starting with a raw bean! Believe me, once you are finished with the tour of the factory, you can't eat any more chocolate, as it's a 2hr chocolate eating journey!!!!! unbelievably superb chocolate!
@@Lady.Robert Exactly it's in Austria as I mentioned in the post ;) If you are a chocolate fanatic and want a great chocolate factory tour, you must come to Austria and check out Zotter ;)
I feel like the spontaneous excursion to the mountains was destined as you ended up having an authentic Swiss cheese fondue for lunch with the most stunning scenenery was pure destiny and fulfilling your fondue dream
Grace being so excited at the grocery store make me feel better about being obsessed with the Monoprix when I was in France. Grocery stores are so fun.
I love your Will Ferrell's Elf energy - excited about everything including a bag of crushed ice and a toilet table bin. ❤😊 These travel vlogs with Honor are my favorite!
There's a great chocolate factory in Strasbourg, France which is a beautiful place to visit at Christmas time, the Black Forest is stunning, and looks like a little storybook at Christmas! You must try the gingerbread if you do go- fantastic! 😍
Grace you should visit Portugal, you would love it! You have a free tour guide right here 🥰 ps: love seeing you enjoy your trips and just seizing every moment and having fun ❤️
@@bethany5559 hi! I may be biased but there are so many beautiful places from north to south of Portugal! However, if I had to choose just a few to visit, I would recomend Lisbon, Sintra, Porto, Coimbra, Aveiro, Guimarães... and if you feel like going away from the big cities, I would recommend the Alentejo region, mainly the Évora and Portalegre districts, or the Beira region, where you can visit Guarda and Castelo Branco! Hit me up if you need more tips :)
Hi Grace, wow I usually never comment but I literally live on that street you showed 😂 Why does this feel like such a full circle moment?! I gotta go tell my friend this asap
I loved seeing you visit my city and enjoy my favorite things! I'd love to show you around if you ever make it back to Switzerland, there are so many other places to visit, especially Lucerne and the "real" mountains, called Alps. There are so many traditional things and good that I think you would appreciate and love. Thank you for this Positive Vlog, I enjoyed seeing my city from a Tourist's point of view that is my age and enjoys the same thing. All the best ❤ Greetings from Zurich! 🫕🍫
Hi Grace Fun fact: we were born on the exact same day 24.07.1997 and my dad’s favorite band is U2 too. And i‘m Swiss. Glad to see you enjoyed your trip to Zurich. xx
I’m from Germany and was an Au-pair near london in 2019/2020 so I’ve always enjoyed watching some london/english content from you. But my aunt lives close to Zurich with my little cousins and I usually visit them a few times a year, especially to go swimming in the lake in the summer😍 and just two months ago we went swimming in Kilchberg (actually the pool you passed by) and parked at the Lindt factory lol so its like insane seeing you there🤩😂such a nice vlog and very happy to see you enjoyed Zürich, its just lovely there!! Xx
Grace! I’ve been following you for ages and your vlogs are my fave, so wholesome! I’m the product manager who makes the advent calendars for Rituals (at the head offices in Amsterdam) so was so exciting to see you checking them out in the store 🥹🥹
Wonderful to see you and Honor having such a good time. Scenery was stunning! Honor is such a good pal to travel with: "Thank you, Jesus"! Very appreciative of life and opportunities, as you are, Grace.
I know what you mean about the smell of chocolate in the air. The biggest Nutella factory in Europe (in the world maybe?) is next to the city where I'm from in France. When I visit my grand parents I often can smell the chocolate from their place, it's really weird.
Awwww I’ve been in Zurich for my exchange semester in Uni and your blog just took me right back. I went on evening walks through your hotel area to the lake ahh miss it so much rn😭😍
I'm so so happy you enjoyed your stay in Switzerland, I hope you'll come back in Lausanne next time! ♥ P.s: it was so funny seeing your put the pickles IN the cheese fondue, I've never seen someone do that hahah looked pretty good tho!
Hi! What did Grace mean when she said (about breakfast) ‘obviously because we’re in Switzerland there are not hot options’ - is that not a thing there?
yes, it’s not very traditional to eat hot meals for breakfast in Switzerland. Except for some egg dishes and rösti maybe. But a lot of hotels serve hot options as they adapted to international Standards.
She is RIGHT!!! The "open" shower does make the room appear bigger ... however, what might be nice is the glass "fogging up" at the touch of a button or an inside blind that can be activated. The curtain sort of "cheapens" the luxury nature of the hotel room.
I love chocolate tasting in Belgium. Walking around and going into all the small chocolatiers and asking the shop people which is their favorite- omg you'll be floating on a chocolate cloud for days.
I love this vlog😍 seeing my own city from your perspective is so fun! next time you‘re coming to zurich I can be your tour guide ☺️ps: If you tell me which crisps you want to try, i could ship them over to england for you :)
i lived in swiss for awhile, and the biscuits are the best, the candy is the same as in germany, (i now live in germany). chocolate truly is different in swiss, i guess it really is the water, because it is just better.
Grace if you love the mountain and lakes' scenery you should visit The Lake District. It is stunning at anytime of year but in Autumn more than ever, plus no flight involved.
Tip for water in the ear - everytime you get out the shower blowdry your ears. I know it sounds ridiculous but I get chronic ear infections and moisture is a trigger so my GP told me to blowdry inside my ears (on low heat) to evaporate the moisture.

Saturate a cotton ball with hydrogen peroxide, squeeze a few drops in your ear, let it bubble for as long as you can, tip it out, water is gone. Literally works every time.😋
I’ve never understood those showers either, they really don’t cater for all guests. It feels like they are custom built for specific individuals. Can you imagine a parent taking their young teenage child away and that’s their shower.
Is Grackle the only person in the UK not being effected by the cost of living crisis?! Her lifestyle seems more lavish than ever in recent videos... Whatever you are doing to avoid it, share your secret! 😅
I'm not sure if anyone else clocked this, but at 28:50 Grace says 'I don't think I've been this happy year.' Is that not a bit sus considering that this year she literally got married, had a stunning honeymoon, and bought a house?

Um, I think she meant traveling. And weddings are stressful, not ridiculously chocolate-filled happiness.
