“I’m Duke’s mother now...” WHO is this woman and what has she done with Lucinda? Frannie meeting Carolyn, Holden meeting Connor, baby Jennifer’s scandalous origin. What an era.
The prelude to the Carolyn Crawford murder storyline, a rare Douglas Marland misfire that went on forEVER, and the killer turned out to be some side character no one cared about.
A lot can happen in a couple months! I missed that Holden /Julie thing. I really didn't miss him when he was in Europe. It was nice to not hear him crying over Lily for a while. Then he comes back and sleeps with his brother's wife while still trying to get Lily back.
He never "cried" over Lily during the Douglas Marland era, which is where this episode is from. Holden was drunk at the time he was with Julie, and it was good to see him do things away from Lily since he became her lapdog after Marland's death.
@@jim-elliott I didn't mean crying literally. Maybe stalking is the word I should have used. Stalking was exactly what Holden did to Lily when she was living with Dusty and married to Damien. Always following and watching Lily looking like a sick puppy. Either way I was not a fan of the Lily/ Holden romance. It really doesn't work as much of an excuse being "drunk" he slept with his brother's wife.
@@pjmoneybags2780 I knew what you meant. It doesn't change the fact you are wrong. Holden was given many stories, more stories away from Lily during Marland's tenure than anyone else. He was never Lily's stalker. One of the best stories he was given during the Marland era was when he helped brother-in-law Barclay Lange (John Ottavino) kick his alcohol habit. And lastly, Lily being married to Damian (not Damien), while the outlines of that were written by Marland, by the time it was revealed the two were married, Marland had already died. Those in charge quickly abandoned the original plans for that story. Holden sleeping with Julie while drunk made perfect sense, story-wise, and was logical. I see you're not really the long-time viewer you purport to be. Blocked.
@@jim-elliott You think I'm wrong but I think I'm right. The stalking I am referring to is when Lily and Dusty lived together Holden was outside of their house everynight watching and calling out Lily's name as they sat in their home listening to his crap talking about how out of line he was. When she married Damien Holden practically followed Lily everywhere even when she was out at the club with Damien at night , mooning over her and professing his undying love to Lily and everyone else who would listen and tell him he was out of line. He was quite pathetic. One reason why Damien beat the crap out of him was because he kept after Lily totally disregarding their marriage. It's obvious we have different opinions but that's how I saw Holden and I'm sticking to it.
I LOVED ATWT before Carly. She took over the show and I grew tired of her quickly. Although I loved Jack. But it was overkill to me. I loved to watch Duncan and Shannon. They were my favorite couple other than Holden and Lily.
OMGosh: all in one episode: Lucinda, Lyla, Larry, Andy, new Margo & Tom (& the last); CAL !!, Connor, Lincoln, Duke, Jessica, the real Mrs. Bob Hughes (Caroline); Darryl, Of course the birth of Jennifer & Hal & Barbara, John, who did I miss ???
Barbara ran off, now Julie's run off. So when Paul and Hal were worried to death about Barbara, she was over there in Europe getting busy and pregnant.
I forgot the name of the evil prince Lily married. He was so awful to poison her. Holden has always been sweet and loving, honest. With a mom like Emma he couldn't be anything but that.
Great episode. It's always a welcome surprise when never-before-seen ATWT episodes pop up on UA-cam. THANK YOU!
We need more eps to fill holes from June - through end of year!
This episode came on the day after i turned 17!!! WOW!!

I will always think of Anne Sward as Lila Montgomery even though she has been in a number of recent and lovely Hallmark movies.
I haven’t seen her in anything other than ATWT

@@pjmoneybags2780 I agree. Never liked Holden lily. Never liked Holden character.
The actress playing Caroline is Dr. Bob's real life wife.
Carolyn, not Caroline.

I thought Martha Byrne was still playing Lily at this point
Oh yes: Holden, Caleb, Ellie, Kirk Iva, Frannie

Actually it was Damian's mother who was witchy.
Darryl's mustache is kinda Hitler-y.
I never liked Dr. John Dixon with the moustache
