I agree. There should be a way to activate a setting that would automatically delete older activities to make room for new ones when a threshold is reached.
@@douglasmiller1212 Sensible designers would do just the above and you'd never see this warning unless it couldn't upload things. But we ARE talking about Garmin here so .. yea..
So under records, my previous records sre still there i including today's run which is the first of the week for me, but the running weekly total distance on the watch face is now showing 0.0 I guess we'll see if it corrects itself tomorrow after my run.
Hi there. I deleted as you had said but Walter doing one activity it said my watch is full again. I deleted all activities again but still I can't record an activity because the watch is still full for some reason... I looked under recorded activities and there is nothing. I'm using Garmin Instinct Solar. Do you know what to do?
Hi, in case you didn’t solve your issue yet, i had your same problem and solved it by connecting my garmin to my MacBook, opening the “Activity” folder and deleting all the files contained in the folder. Pay attention ti delete al the files from the trash bin too, or it won’t work.
I have a message 'reach storege limit' when I try to install update (with Garmin Express or with Connect). I have clean activities but ot doesn't solve the situation. Someone has an idea ?
Two years behind the video but this was a huge help. Thanks
Great video - exactly the info I was after and nothing else!
Thank you for this!
(Garmin support told me to delete the fit file, which deleted all my totals too. Idiots.)
Your technique worked perfectly.
Oh wow! haha. Glad this worked for you!
Jeeeez, thank you so much for taking time showing this, I appreciate you!

Nice watch & useful video - thanks!
Thanks, Peter!
Great tip 😎🤙🏽
Is there a way to have the activities automatically deleted once uploaded to Connect?

You fill your Garmin storage in a couple of months of running! What's your weekly mileage?
