For me the main takeaway from your videos is to never linger around one spot. You're CONSTANTLY moving, even when you're clearing out outposts you basically do it as quick as you can and then proceed to the next objective. Incredibly efficient.

I know these are pretty easy on your time as there isn't much, if any editing. Could we maybe get a one off episode some time of you commentating, either voice or text, on your decision making process and your real time thought process? There's so many times watching these were I recognize a situation where I would have engaged an enemy that you ignore, or chosen to do things in a different order- and while your results speak for themselves it's not always clear to me what your thought process might be for a given situation. I certain pick up plenty of little gems of knowledge, but a master class lecture and breakdown would be amazing.

I agree with this, I was so confused when he allowed the Bot to call in a Drop ship earlier. But I assume it was to test if the Anti Drop ship artillery actually did its job?
Bots can only drop at one part of the time. You can exploit this by triggering the flare, then moving to another area where the enemies will not get reinforcements.
You'll have a grace period until they have the ability to call in another dropship.
First of all, thanks for watching! I'm gonna be honest here, long unedited gameplays are where i feel comfortable and there's a good reason behind it. My editing simply sucks. I'm currently looking for an editor, but i can't tell how long it will take to find one. I can try to add subs to one of the forthcoming videos, so i can explain some of the mechanics. Exactly what @adiyo011 said. It's the key mechanic that i play around in every single game, although it may not look so obvious every time. In most cases, there is a cooldown between how often the enemies can call for reinforcements. On helldive it's 2 minutes +30 seconds if you have the localisation confusion booster.
Master class in stealth. Your control of the bot drops is excellent.

I once again tip my hat to you sir. When i got the game a couple weeks ago, a command bunker infiltration mission was the first video i saw from you. Ever since then, i aspired to be as good as you. I think i can proudly say that, i have grinded all the way to level 48 already and can manage to win a lvl7 difficulty mission solo. Although i still struggle with Helldive difficulty. Hopefully i can get there aswell sometime.

You were lucky that Factory Striders or Gunship Facilities didn't make an appearance. Nothing ruins a stealth mission like an eye in the sky or Clifford the Big Red Dog.

In my opinion, the factory striders aren't a big deal.
But the gunships are absolutely a problem if they're near an objective...

Would love to have you do a video that breaks down your decision making and what you're looking out for when you're pinging the map and deciding how to tackle the map and the objectives.
I enjoy the no talky from time to time, and this is one of them the music in this game is so cinematic and We have sooo many chatty UA-camrs to choose from, but Precious few ones that just play the game! And play it well!

You got any specific tips on dealing with Gunships? I am able to deal even with Factory Striders but Gunships are relentless.
Are we talking about just gunships or gunships + the factory as a whole?
Have you discussed your keybinds anywhere? Do you split climb/jumppack?
This man singlehandedly inspired me to switch from heavy armor autocannon to jetpack stealth, and now I don't suck at the game.
Question for you Sarge, do you think the Walking Barrage is usable for bots, given you can sort of throw it in the general direction of an outpost or objective and reasonably expect it to do most of the work? Or would a 380/120 be a better choice?

The walking barrage should be okay vs outposts. However i'm not sure if it's capable of destroying big structures like detector towers and bunkers, compared to the 380mm. I just haven't used it too much.
These are always interesting to watch.
I think I've become somewhat decent and doing this against bots.
Trying to get a feel for similar against bugs.
I highly recommend baiting out bug breaches when playing vs bugs, it works the same way. You just need to run a bit faster 🤣

Liked and subbed. I think you had a problem with only one base, later on where you tried not to use your 380mm strategem but had to resort to it, a heavy outpost, but other than that, flawless gameplay. Do you play with other people? Would love to play with you
Thank you! That last fabricator in the heavy outpost turned out to be a real nightmare, luckily the 380mm did the job. I'm planning to set up a discord server for stealth players in the nearest future, so we can all hang out. I'll keep you updated.
what are your thoughts on factory striders
They're a nice addition to the game for sure. Bots needed a heavy heavy unit. Balancing wise i think they're okay too, heavily armed at the cost of low mobility. I just hope they don't go too crazy and start spawning them around every corner.

What monitor are you using. Laptop with 16:10 display?
Also just wondering why you didn't use the 380mm right away for the heavy outposts? I assumed that's why you brought it.
16:10 indeed, not a laptop tho.
Not sure how to answer that. I did use it right away to pre-clear the extraction zone. There were no heavy outposts at the beginning. Besides i rarely use the 380mm on heavies as it usually means coming back to the spot later on.

Why did you bait out the dropship at 12:35?
I bait them out before clearing objectives. On helldive, the dropships can be called once every 2 minutes (+30 seconds if you're running the localisation confusion booster).

With the build you were running. What was the plan if you found a gunship factory?
That's why i'm running the scorcher. It melts gunships pretty damn fast, i think it's around 1,5 mag. Before approaching factories, its always good to bait out a dropship somewhere else.

Hahaha i knew someone was going to notice. Every time i thought about using it i was like "nah i can handle this, i'll save it for later". Eventually ended up extracting with it as if it was some kind of hidden artifact i had to retrieve lol.

A lot of solo helldive run are on bot side and jetpacks.
Both effective and fun.
Though I was having fun pulling stealth against bugs earlier today, I wasn't going solo so I can't be certain there wouldn't have been callins at some points.
Is there a secret strategic reason to take 3/4 stratagems or are you just flexing lol
He can't take a fourth. It's an Operation Modifier applied to the mission due to the bots AA defences.

The skill is without a doubt, but what I see here is the aggressive approach and not a lot of stealth components.
Also would like to see a Helldive without the cheese backpack and meta Scorcher.
Thanks! You surely have a point regarding the title/thumbnail. However, the game doesn't have proper stealth mechanics. To me it's more about staying undetected as long as possible, avoiding unnecessary fights, disengaging and managing dropships rather than clearing the map completly undetected.
I have a video featuring the new crossbow and i'm planning to make one about scorcher plasma or the new sniper(forgot the name of it, sorry) But the jumpack is here to stay, it's just too much fun and actually helps a lot during stealth runs.
A lot of stealth in this game is killing a small amount of enemies quickly so they can't call reinforcements, or forcing a reinforcement call where you won't have to deal with it.
You can go without the jetpack but it makes things a lot easier and quicker.
You can slowly assassinate enemies from a distance, but it's hard to get the correct angles and it will take a long time.
Sarge goes for map clear, so there isn't as much time to entirely avoid detection like that.
I've seen better guarded strategem jammers in lvl 4. Two troopers is ridiculous.
That's how hit and run works, but it usually happens in the middle or at the end of the runs.
