Removing polymer tips from Hornady FTX bullets for ballistic gel test

Per an excellent suggestion by a brilliant subscriber, I use a safety pin to pull the polymer tips out of Hornady Critical Defense 22 Magnum bullets.

Alrighty, so here we go! Would like to see the results! Also, Buffman Range tested them through a 6" automag on meat, and they didn't expand there either

Maybe try doing the same with 380 and 9mm critical defense. They don't expand too much with the polymer tip or get too much penetration. Maybe they would without that tip.
