Really enjoying your challenges. Got a CZ 455 with a flyweight CZ trigger in a MDT XRS chassis. Factory barrel unfortunately. Puts it in a bad spot for being in the open class without the benefit of the biggest upgrade.
Managed an 80 at my best shooting prone yesterday, trying to get a Bartlein barrel fit for it. The barrel cost is reasonable but I am struggling to find any well known gunsmiths in western Canada to do the job - most of them have never done the inletting for the CZ extractors.
Keep em coming big fella - only found your channel recently but loving it!

As a kid I had a Marlin model 60 .22 that could shoot Lr Longs and shorts, I had a Tasco 3 x 7 x 21 mounted up top and I regularly took squirrels with headshots at 60 plus yards. It shot every manufacturers ammo very well and it wasn’t temperamental or finicky about it at all like these newer .22’s seem to be. Great video by the way brother and please keep ‘em coming 😊👍

Very cool. I didn't see this before scoring my sheets, but that's okay. I went back and looked at them and while I had some increase by a few points I also had one that decreased by one point since I took a five out and made it a four. When I put the videos together I'll add some still shots of the score sheet with the adjustments notated. Thanks again as always and I'm looking forward to shooting this one some more.

I just checked you subscribers .. OVER 25K ! Way to go Elijah ! I'm very glad you showcased that Athlon 10-40. Mine is the same way, clear up to 32 X, darker and a little fuzzy at 40x, but still usable at 40X. Mine came in at about $335. I like the floating dot reticle , and the 1/8 moa per click on the turrets for benchrest. .. I do have a question about cleaning the chamber . It seems to me there might be a sweet spot for carbon build up in the chamber. If I clean mine ( just the chamber now) I notice it take about 10 shots to really get settled. Have you noticed the same?

Maybe you should have used a more expensive ammo, like cci standard Vel. Who knows. In that rifles heyday, there was also S&W standand vel. Just wonder what the factory was using at the time, to try and make it a Win 52 beater. There wasn't a half dozen 22RF options at our gun stores in the 60/70's. I would think they (REM) (WIN) would have made their guns to try and shoot it's best, with what people could pull of the gun shop shelves. The Rem 40x has such a awe presence, as does the Win 52's. You are a very good person to own both. Very much appreciated.

This one happens to be nice out a little past 32 for me I would say about 34 to 36 power then it gets a little fuzzy. What I did notice for some odd reason if you do take it up to 40 the parallax needs to be readjusted. For what I paid for a new scope and literally BEING the cheapest out there when it was on sale I am keeping it.
