Wow...... Your gonna be asked to cover every match event. I can't imagine the pressure you've endured but you came out top for Canada. A huge win! I'm very excited and happy for you brother! A huge round of applause 🎉🎉 👏
The only thing better than your shooting was the production value of this video. Absolutely outstanding video! Congratulations on your finish and thanks for a great video.
Hi Matt. Been nice meeting you. Congrats on exelent performance. May I please use your comment section to thank John Grigrich of Canada? If not appropriate, delete. My scope died on first day of competition. John was nearby and noticed my problems. What he did next, was unbelievably amazing. As a prime example of sportmanship and comeradery he lend me his spare Element Theos, so I could finish my second day of competition!!! Sincerely thnx again John. Hope to see you both again in two years. Luka.
Of course, I’ll pass it along to john. Wonderful to see the great sportsmanship among all the shooters. Didn’t matter what country they were shooting for, everyone was supporting each other
Thnx again John. You were also right about Theos. Let's just say that my credit card didn't like it and I'm anxiously waiting for delivery today... Will post a picture when it arrives.
Thanks for a great video of an awesome PRS match in Italy . Man those targets were small . It must have been very challenging in that heat. Well done 👍. Cheers 🍻.
Very nice report and shot and edited with a lot of effort! I can judge that because I do it regularly and know how much extra work it is to shoot and make videos at the same time. Concentration also suffers, so you always give away places. Thank you for your work. I really enjoyed it! Regards Tom vprojekte
Great video production major props to you for not only doing amazing in a world competition but also putting a video together that alone is a project in its self! I want to get into comp shooting and you are a great motivation and resource! Thank you sir!
Thanks for sharing the hype, the pressure of the clock and the awards ceremony. Great job, you should be proud of your efforts and results. Yes a little slip up can cost points but you beat the clock more than it beat you. Well done.
Excellent video and congrats on your finish! You represented well; I especially appreciate your humble attitude in describing both the challenges you have and success.
Great review. Awesome performance nd finish at the worlds. Something to definitely be proud of!! Keep hammering away. PRN Nationals are next in your sites!!!
Off hand shots. Amazing. That GoPro gives a perspective that made it seem like a thousand yard shot. Nice going guys. You’ll have to share what you did with the meat.
That video is awesome, music is epic! We have a lot to learn from you guys... It was so great to hang with you both in Italy, I hope we see you at some matches in the states in the near future! You've always got a place to stay with us in MN, maybe we can collaborate on some content sometime!
I finally got around to watching this earlier today uninterrupted. 3:09 had me chuckling. What was the European contingency running for actions? It looked like a lot of CZ or maybe Anschutz (or some other actions with 22LR length magazines).
Tons of bergaras and CZ, but the really high end one I saw a couple times was a Sauer 3000 action in the rimfire configuration. I had to ask another shooter what the rifle was because I had never seen it. Apparently they’re very nice and function extremely well.
Matt, WELL DONE! It so impressive that you can compete at such a high level and produce such a great video. Thinking you have a great support staff. Was wondering if you could comment on what setups the folks from other countries were running. Best Wishes.
Great Videos Matt, enjoy every one of them, you've certainly improved yourself in the last 18 months, congratulations you have earned this win, inspired many new NRL shooters here downunder ozzi. Matt I wonder could you do a Video on what ballistic app you use and how you go about your ballistic range calculations from start to finish, how to set up for new stage stages in a competition, dope card etc. This would be very helpful for many new starters in .22 NRL & PRS style of matches. And do you check shoot each distance or do you rely on your Ballistic app? Thanks again for your informative match videos.
All shooter from USA and Canada are vergleichen good. Ok you can trained in your privat Area or you have Gun Ranges. Here in Germany we have only 2 or 3 places with a 300m range. I drive many Times to france because the can also trained at there privat Area. But i wish i had more Range time with longer distance.
The factory division rules are much different than normal production division. There’s no price point limit, they just have to be a “factory rifle”, and on the IPRF approved list. Some very high-end Victrix, Anschutz, and MPA rifles made the approved list because all the parts are made in house. But they’re just as capable as some open rigs. Also no limits on optics, you can run a ZCO. Weird…
So where did you end up in the standings? Only timing out on one stage is pretty dang good! 12 shots, 90 seconds, multiple positions… I think I may have only been able to complete one stage.
Finished 13th open division. Yes the par time was definitely a large factor and executing stages with limited time changed how many shooters would have normally approached certain stages
@@Womfat great job!!! Look how far you’ve come since you started. I remember when you started doing this on UA-cam and you were good but not making top finishes at the Canadian matches. Now you’re 13th in the world! On an aside, given the airline restrictions I wonder how Chris is gonna get that monster trophy home. I was hoping you’d win the side match and then have a video explaining how you were going to get that meat home.
Lucky you where in Italy with 1h30 lunch time. If you where in France, it would have been 2h, and if you where in Spain, the siesta would have been mandatory lol
All,of these competitions are unfair. The ones that can afford the best equipment usually win. All shooters should use the exact same rifle brand weapon with the exact same scope then it would be fair. 😂
Wow......

Thanks Kenny, really means a lot. I would have loved to finish top ten but my mental mistakes prevented that.
The only thing better than your shooting was the production value of this video. Absolutely outstanding video! Congratulations on your finish and thanks for a great video.

Thank Lorenzo, it was great meeting and chatting with you!
Great video. Thanks Blessings
Was a pleasure to meet you and watch you shoot. The Italian “position trumps target” method took some getting used to!
Definitely! Yes that rule was not intuitive to me at all. Should have just shot everything in order haha
What an amazing experience!
Awesome! A well put together first international for RF LR / PRS match. Great standing in this group of international shooters. You did very well sir.
Awesome job and great video👍👍
Awesome video as always! Congratulations on a great match and finish! You paint the sport and it's people in the best light!
Great job, Team USA!!!

Well done 😊👍🏻👍🏻
Great video Matt, looked like you guys had an Awesome time. You had to shoot fast to make those 90 sec stages, wow 😮
Well done boy!!! Congratulations! And just so you know - until a team from Serbia appears somewhere, I will always cheer for you!
Wow. Awesome video.
Making me want to spend all my money on 22 rifles 😊

I'm really excited for this one, I might actually stay up for it!
Just WOW
Awesome video!
I was impatiently waiting this video, and you did not disappoint. Absolutely amazing!

Congratulations Matt, that’s quite an accomplishment!
Great shooting! Go Canada!
Great video, Is it possible to see the course of fire for this event ?

Thanks. The european shooters had many bergara, CZ's and also an action called the Sauer 3000
Very nice video. What’s the furthest ranges you shoot at in these competitions?
How does someone get involved in this completion? What organization, what kind of rifle? Thank you.
Eccellente!
So what ammo are you using? And were there any semi autos there? Longest distance?
Wow, this is amazing! Thank you for sharing. Is there any website where you can go to look at the course of fire?
It was posted on the IPRF Tav Piancardato website
Impaaa!

Did the targets seems smaller than normal competitions? Or does it seem that way. On stage D how big were the targets?

Same laws here in spain, no ranges to shoot but we are just training now with PCP rifles
It's not so much easier here! Only 2 places with 300m,and you can only shoot paper and then walk back and forth looking at your groups.
What gun and scope are you using?
Que munición usaste
Great vid, in wich position did you finally ended?
Finished 13th open division
Very curious on the factory class rules thise rifles looked like they were open class guns with stainless non OEM barrels?

What kind of ammunition did you use?
Eley Match

11:20 holy cow. Is she running super high velocity Ammo or is it from the water? At first I thought a rifle went off the same time.

ahaha sorry! I just chose a time sort of arbitrarily :)

Not true.
I’m actually surprised the US walked the competition like a dog. Let’s go!
No one was surprised haha
