Kathy here - just found your channel. They are just 3 brothers, one mic and no auto tune - and this music will never be duplicated. Barry is in the middle, and the twins Maurice (pronounced Morris) and Robin.
You may not realize it yet, but there are probably a few songs by the Bee Gees you guys have heard and didn't know these guys created these songs. The one song by them called "Staying Alive" is played all the time on radios, in malls, etc.

Thanks for your reaction! The BeeGees were: the tallest and oldest brother (with the big hair and beard), Barry Gibb, born September 1, 1946, the only surviving Gibb brother. Robin Gibb (with the long hair, no beard), born December 22, 1949-passed away May 20, 2012, and Robin's fraternal twin brother Maurice (the balding brother with the beard, pronounced "Morris") Gibb, born December 22, 1949-passed away January 12, 2003. They also had another, younger, brother Andy Gibb, born March 5, 1958-passed away March 10, 1988. The three oldest brothers were born on the Isle of Man (UK). Oldest brother Barry got seriously burned when he accidentally pulled boiling tea over himself at 18 months old. He was in coma for a while, nearly died and was in hospital for many months. Because of this, he did not learn to talk until after the twins were born. Later the family moved to Manchester and from there they emigrated to Australia in 1958, right after Andy was born. Their musical career, which they had started as little kids, didn't lead to international success so they moved back to the UK in 1966. Then they had a string of big hits, until they temporarily broke up around 1970 for 15 months. Started back up, looking for a new sound which they first found in 1974 with the transitional album "Mr. Natural". After that "Main Course" was the first album that moved them into a new direction: more rhythm&blues, dance music like with great hits like Nights on Broadway and Jive Talkin'. From 1976 on they went all out with falsetto driven dance music which lead to their biggest commercial success as they provided classic songs for the Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack (1977 Stayin' Alive, How Deep is Your Love, Night Fever amongst them). You should react to the 1979 live version of Stayin' Alive, too ua-cam.com/video/7niXSh7vWRI/v-deo.html Other great songs to analyze: great album tracks from the 1979 Spirits Having Flown album, the title song: ua-cam.com/video/WH_j90fCIk4/v-deo.html, the outrageously beautiful song Reaching Out ua-cam.com/video/vfHUS5Mf00Q/v-deo.html. The BEE GEES stands for the Brothers Gibb. In the video left to right are cleanshaven ROBIN (1949-2012), lead singer BARRY (1946-), and Robin's twin MAURICE (1949-2003). Their chart-toppers include dance grooves ("Staying Alive, "Jive Talking", "You Should Be Dancing"), ballads ("How Deep Is Your Love", "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart", "Too Much Heaven"), and one of my favorite mid-tempo jams ("Love You Inside Out"). There are so many awesome songs by the Bee Gees!
That isn't oil on Barry Gibb's chest. It's a burn scar from when he was a kid. Bee Gees were the kings of disco but had music going back as far as the 60's and Barry is still making music and writing songs to this day. Staying Alive and Night Fever might be songs you'd recognize.

Their signature overall sound. This song was released in 1979. Natural harmonizing between the 3 Brothers. Robin, Barry & Maurice Gibb. 1 take, in recording studio. No autotune, no tricks. Pure natural talent! This was when music was real music & worked hard for. They also had a younger brother (Andy Gibb) who could sing just like them. He went out on his own & did very well, also. These 3 brothers received tons of achievement, accolades, awards, #1 hits, etc. The most recognized song by younger listeners is "Stayin' Alive," used in the movie "Saturday Night Fever," starring a young John Travolta. But, they have recorded tons of music. All have passed away except Barry.
Not live at all. Ther vocal tracks are 27 layers. Doubled and tripled vocals. Lots of studio wizardry to create this full sound. Plus, how can Barry be singing lead, three part harmony and doing the ad libs at the same time? Robin is also layered in a falsetto lead here. It's a magic, blissful song and sonically beautiful. But a lot of studio tricks went into creating this orchestral sound. Would literally take hundreds of takes to record and layer all the separate vocals from each brother.

1978 Gibbs Brothers The Bee Gees. Robin on the left, Barry in the Middle, and Maurice on the Right. Unforgettable Voices from my early years. Thanks for the memories
My older brother had Bee Gee 45s in the 1960s- "Words", "Massachusettes", "To Love Somebody", and "Gotta Get a Message To You". They aren't singing falsetto, they simply have amazing range. Robin, Barry, Maurice. Robin and Maurice were twins, and Barry is still with us, They began singing together as children - you can find old clips of them on UA-cam from the 1950s when they appeared on Australian TV. One of the first bands I heard as a child, along with the Beatles, Nancy Sinatra, and my Mom's swing collection from the '40s,
Tragically their baby brother Andy died before Maurice and Robin and even though Andy wasn't one of the Bee Gees he was still such a great talent on his own and performed with them I've seen at least once on UA-cam.
Loving The BeeGees - Barry, the main singer was also a good friend of Michael Jackson... They recorded a song together All In Your Name - Beegess wrote loads of amazing songs, many for other artists - Hope you get your 150 likes because you will have a ball with the Bee Gees, especially the Saturday Night Fever Stuff :) - Barry Also dueted with Barbra Streisand, they also wrote Islands in The Stream dolly parton, woman in love streisand, Heartbreaker Other songs for dionne warwick, Some of Diana Ross Hits - Emotions Samantha Sang They wrote Immortality for Celine Dionne - Words which they were thrilled that Elvis covered - How Deep is Your Love is a beautiful song - Im sure you will get lots of likes for these guys - such a shame the early passing of the ones on left and right who were also twins x
great reaction: the middle guy is Sir Barry Gibb the most talented and successful songwriter and falsetto icon - who ever walked on this planet, 1035 tunes he composed with his brothers 36 #1 allover the world more than 220 million records in more than fifty years and 150 millions additional for other amazing artists, when you don`t know the Brothers Gibb, maybe you had lived under a stone 🔥😆
Welcome to the rabbit hole known as the Bee Gees. They are amazing with the harmonies. You need to check out Jive Talking, have to do Friday Night special Nightls on Broadway. Fanny be tender with my love will blow you away. That song was never done live because Maurice (Pronounced Morris) said it was a bitch to sing with the different levels of harmonies.
Barry is the only surviving brother of 4. He's still collaborating with artists. Last collaboration was with Nashville. Barry still lives in the 305. They've written a lot for other artists as well. That falsetto was a trend they capitalized on but Barry is a natural tennor. FYI that song was written for fund raising for starving children.
The Brothers Gibb...Robin on the left, Barry in the middle and Maurice on the right. Their career spanned 50 years. They started singing when they were little boys. All their albums songs were written by the brothers. They also wrote a ton of songs for other singers that were major hits. Both Robin and Maurice are gone now. Their little brother Andy died when he was 30 from a bad heart. Robin had cancer and Maurice was taken into surgery for his heart when he wasn't strong enough for the procedure and died. The family sued the hospital. Barry is the sole survivor today.
MJ often stayed in Miami Beach, visiting Barry Gibb's family. Was godfather of Barry's 4th son, also called Michael. Co-wrote the song 'Eaten Alive' for Diana Ross, to hear with backgroundvocals, together with Barry. In 2002 they collaborated again on a song (mainly written by Barry), called 'All In Your Name'. Wasn't released official due to management-problems. But Barry held the songrights and after a waiting-period of 10 years, he gave it free to the community. Has millions of klicks in YT, so check it out!
The Bee Gees are the Gibb brothers, Barry (middle) and fraternal twins Robin and Maurice (pronounced Morris). Maurice is the balding one. They been performing since they were young. You should check out their concert in Melbourne, Australia in 1974. It’s great 👏🏻🥰‼️
Barry is in the middle,Robin on the left,Maurice on the right.,they had a youger brother Andy, they are all dead except for Barry and his older sister, sadly. This was the best of the 70's,Bee Gees were awesome, still love their music today.
The Brothers Gibb....aka The Bee Gees. The one in the middle is Barry Gibb. Pure talent. Singing from the soul. Melts my heart every single time.... after all these years. Thank you for this. ❤
And FYI Barry Gibb (the front man) is still happily married to his wife of would you believe, 53 years! No addictions of any kind and no fooling around on his wife! Almost unheard of! They now have five adult children who adore him and they are a very close family..all of them live in the Miami FLA area. Even though his three brothers have past away (ANDY Gibb was only 30 years old, had a drug addiction but died from heart complications. He was also a well known singer and shortly before he died, he was getting set to become the forth BeeGee) Google them, it's a long, sad story. Barry credits his wife for pulling him through those devasting losses. He said he'd give all his fame and fortune up if he could only see his brothers for one day. He has never gotten over them and they are always on his mind. He is a humble man and loving as well as sincere and compassionate. A rare breed these days!No one can match these guys!
Some of Michael Jackson’s closets friends were the Bee Gees and they collaborated on a few songs. Michael Jackson was godfather to Barry Gibb’s son. Good job on the reactions guys. They are funny. 😂
you should follow up with barry gibb's collaboration with MJ! (All In Your Name [Official Music Video] - Michael Jackson Feat. Barry Gibb). The bee gees were a great team of singers and songwriters! I saw a video where they were explaining how they composed dolly parton and kenny roger's duet 'islands in the stream'. Unbelievably talented people!
‘How Deep Is Your Love’ shows their lower ranges. The Brother’s Gibb (Bee Bees) are surpassed only by Lennon/McCartney in song production and charted songs…over 1000 written for themselves and other top artists. Do ‘Stayin’ Alive’, I’m sure you’ve heard it.
No oiled chest, a childhood burn injury made his chest shiny. My fav song by them is "Words," how would the line, "words are all I have to take your heart away," go down nowadays?
Not to repeat what others have said, but to add more info. They are the 3 brothers Gibb. Barry is the head singer in this song, was born in 1946. Robin (long blond hair) and Maurice (pronounced Morris) are fraternal twins born in 1949. They started performing in about 1958 when the twins where about 9 years old. As others have posted here, Robin and Maurice passed away some years ago. Barry is still writing songs, performing, and putting out albums. He's 76 now. The Bee Gees wrote and produced for 1,000 songs. They have sold over 120 million records worldwide (with estimates as high as over 225 million records sold worldwide), making them among the best-selling music artists of all time. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997; the Hall's citation says, "Only Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Garth Brooks and Paul McCartney have outsold the Bee Gees." With nine number-one hits on the Billboard Hot 100, the Bee Gees are the third-most successful band in Billboard charts history behind only the Beatles and the Supremes. In 1978 the Bee Gee's gifted all royalties to this song, Too Much Heaven, to UNICEF. They performed the song live at The Music for UNICEF Concert: A Gift of Song. It was a benefit concert of popular music held in the United Nations General Assembly in New York City on January 9, 1979. It was intended to raise money for UNICEF world hunger programs and to mark the beginning of the International Year of the Child. The concert was videotaped and broadcast the following day on NBC in the U.S. and around the world. The Bee Gees gave UNICEF rights to all royalties from the song. It's raised about $13 Million for UNICEF thus far.
That's not oil on his chest. It's scars. When Barry (guy in middle) was 4 years old he was running around the house and he accidently pulled a big pot of boiling water onto himself. He suffered 3rd degree burns and spent most of the next 2 years in the hospital healing. He says that he did not talk for most of those 2 years.
Barry the middle is the only surviving brother. Their youngest brother Andy passed in the 80's. The twins died I believe in '03 an '12. I grew up with the BeeGees one of my favorite groups growing up in the 70's and 80'. I love hoe the younger generations are loving and appreciating old school!❤️🎶❤️
The Brothers Gibb are Legendary. Their falsetto harmonies and sings defined an ERA! ICONIC! No gimmicks, auto tune, just a microphone and extraordinary talent! ❤❤❤❤👏👏👏👏👏👏

It was so much fun watching you guys start out your reaction with tidbits of making fun of them, and end the reaction saying it was “beautiful” ❤ Go to school learning about these brothers. There is a lot of documentary content on UA-cam ….you won’t believe what you see and hear! ❤ I have been a life-long fan….from 1967 to Barry’s current stuff. My requests…”I Started a Joke”, which features Robin, and “Closer Than Close”, which features Maurice. You will please millions of fans with these requests….
pure and real singing!! no auto yune,ect..this was either you cold sing or not!! not the nonsense that is today. thank you.also,it's wonderful to see the young truly appreciate it
Robin on your left, Barry centre, Maurice on your right as you watch - All had amazing voices. All different but those harmonies were fantastic. This was live in one take I believe on The Music For UNICEF Concert 1979.
You guys need to go back to Old School. Back when music was Priceless. I grew up with this music & as an old guy Veteran who got through the service with this music . Barry, Maurice & Robin. Old school!
Barry is in the middle, Robin on the left, and Maurice on the right. They are bothers. Many interesting stories about their life together. Their are several good interviews and biographies about them on UA-cam.
Barry, the oldest brother Gibb, is the lead vocalist on this song. The other two are the younger twins Maurice & Robin Gibb (the skinny. clean-shaven guy with big eyes is Robin)!!.
Barry was scalded by boiling water when he was a child that's why his chest looks the way it does. They are brothers Barry, Robin, and Maurice. Robin and Maurice are fraternal twins. There is also a younger brother Andy. He unfortunately passed at the age of 31. You need to check him out as well he sings just as well as his brothers do. Barry who is the oldest is the last remaining BeeGee. Maurice died in 2003 I believe and then Robin died in 2012. They not only wrote songs for themselves they wrote for a lot of other artist as well. They have a lot of songs that I am sure that you would like. They are timeless and one of a kind.
You cannot beat the Bee Gees. They are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I love all their songs but of course we have our favorites. Watch their One Night Only concert somehow. Maybe You Tube has it? That was phenomenal.
The three brothers are Barry Gibb in the middle. Robin Gibb on the left and Maurice Gibb on the right. They also have a younger Brother Andy Gibb who had a solo career.
Im just now seeing this! ❤ The 3 brothers we all fell in love with. Barry in the middle is the oldest, Andy(the blonde) and maurice are fraternal twins. I say this all the time.... Barry was obviously the best falsetto around however so was Andy, i dont think he got the credit he deserved for that. He had a way of making his falsetto vibrate. If you listen when barry isnt singing, andy is hitting those high notes as well, Maurice with his high and low harmonies they blended so beautifully ❤❤
The Bee Gees donated all their royalties from this song to UNICEF and it was one of their biggest hits. It has generated millions of dollars for the childrens’ charity. Their hearts were as good as their voices and song writing skills.
Also, "Children of the World"
I'm sure their intent might have been good, but UNICEF is an evil organization.

@@AyeItsGabo One thing is hearing it on radios and other thing is not knowing who actually sings it cuz lets be honest there’s other people that still don’t know who The Bee Gees are but it’s never late to introduced them into it ❤️
@@Eileen2204 that's what I said.. everyonebhas heard it atleast once but don't realize who it is singing until they heart it again when they react to it. Looove the look on the faces 🤣
That isnt oil...its 3rd degree burns.
My boy went up and hold that high note like a G..!!💪🏾
💯💯
The Bee Gees, one of Gods gifts to the world!
No autotune, no second takes - just pure LIVE talent!
They're lip syncing to a 27 layers vocal track studio recording. It's gorgeous, but not live at all.
I love love love watching you guys!!!! Omg you both are the BEST!!!!! Always keep your innocence and appreciation for “new” unexplored things. I love how The Bee Gees are “new” to you both and how how appreciate their talent. That song was from the 1970s!
Really appreciate the love! They are amazing more Bee Gees coming!
1978 Gibbs Brothers The Bee Gees. Robin on the left, Barry in the Middle, and Maurice on the Right. Unforgettable Voices from my early years. Thanks for the memories
Came from TikTok! Y’all keep going y’all got good energy and are entertaining!!!
Appreciate it!
One of the first bands I heard as a child, along with the Beatles, Nancy Sinatra, and my Mom's swing collection from the '40s,
IF EVERY PERSON HEARD THIS, WE’D ALL LOVE EACH OTHER!!
Sadly Murice and Robin have both passed. 😢 Bee Gees were my jam back in the 70s and 80s
Mine too.since 1978
Tragically their baby brother Andy died before Maurice and Robin and even though Andy wasn't one of the Bee Gees he was still such a great talent on his own and performed with them I've seen at least once on UA-cam.
I was 14 when this song hit. And it still makes me smile every time
Loving The BeeGees - Barry, the main singer was also a good friend of Michael Jackson...
Wow ,i just love you guys !you are both so open minded and accepting of actual talent,it's so impressive that you youngsters can absorb real talent
great reaction: the middle guy is Sir Barry Gibb the most talented and successful songwriter and falsetto icon - who ever walked on this planet, 1035 tunes he composed with his brothers 36 #1 allover the world more than 220 million records in more than fifty years and 150 millions additional for other amazing artists, when you don`t know the Brothers Gibb, maybe you had lived under a stone 🔥😆
😢😢😢😢
You guys need to do you should be dancing by the bee gees
Yessss that one would be great especially if it’s the performance with Andy so iconic 😍🔥
You two need more Bee gees in your life
Phenomenal talent. Thank you for enjoying it as we all did back in the day!
Pure vocal talent and vocal range, no auto tune, no electronic mixer, etc............ and actually the only falsetto was Barry!
He was also a well known singer and shortly before he died, he was getting set to become the forth
BeeGee) Google them, it's a long, sad story. Barry credits his wife for pulling him through those devasting losses. He said he'd give all his fame and fortune up if he could only see his brothers for one day. He has never gotten over them and they are always on his mind. He is a humble man and loving as well as
sincere and compassionate. A rare breed these days!No one can match these guys!
I love seeing these reaction videos from our new generation as soon as Barry goes solo
He ain’t even tryin… Love it ❗😂😂🧡🧡🧡🧡
Some of Michael Jackson’s closets friends were the Bee Gees and they collaborated on a few songs. Michael Jackson was godfather to Barry Gibb’s son. Good job on the reactions guys. They are funny. 😂
The greatest catalogue in musical history. Enjoy all you have yet to experience!
Sadly Barry is the sole survivor of the BeeGees, aged 76 years. has only his sister still alive.
RIP Robin , Maurice and Andy Gibb.
you should follow up with barry gibb's collaboration with MJ!
Love you guys! Such fun reactions and to actual GOOD music
❤️❤️
‘How Deep Is Your Love’ shows their lower ranges. The Brother’s Gibb (Bee Bees) are surpassed only by Lennon/McCartney in song production and charted songs…over 1000 written for themselves and other top artists. Do ‘Stayin’ Alive’, I’m sure you’ve heard it.
You two need to be the back up dancers! Arms raised in synchronization! Love the BeeGee (Gibb brothers).
Barry was 9 and the twins were 6 when they started singing.
Love this. Pure talent. We need to bring that back. Pure. ❤️
BeeGees stands for the Brothers Gibb. They are (left-to-right) Robin Gibb, Barry Gibb and Maurice Gibb. Next to the Beatles and the Beach Boys, they are the greatest singing group of all time.
3 British Brothers who are fabulous- writers - performers wowsa they are unequaled
bee gees love you inside out
From left to right, it's Robin Gibb, Barry Gibb in the middle and Morise Gibb. You guessed it, they are brothers. Had been singing together their whole lives. They knew they were going to be famous one day
It was so much fun watching you guys start out your reaction with tidbits of making fun of them, and end the reaction saying it was “beautiful” ❤ Go to school learning about these brothers. There is a lot of documentary content on UA-cam ….you won’t believe what you see and hear! ❤ I have been a life-long fan….from 1967 to Barry’s current stuff. I’d like to make 2 requests….”Too Much Heaven” is my #1, and it features Barry, so thanks for the reaction. My requests…”I Started a Joke”, which features Robin, and “Closer Than Close”, which features Maurice. You will please millions of fans with these requests….
And we wonder why our parents say " this generation has no taste" which after listening to a 70s 80s songs only radio station i fully agree with😅
pure and real singing!! no auto yune,ect..this was either you cold sing or not!! not the nonsense that is today. thank you.also,it's wonderful to see the young truly appreciate it
Stayin Alive should be next by them...it shows off their disco era sound! You WILL recognize this song!
🤔🤔
I love you guys! What a beautiful reaction. ❤
Robin on your left, Barry centre, Maurice on your right as you watch - All had amazing voices. All different but those harmonies were fantastic. This was live in one take I believe on The Music For UNICEF Concert 1979.
African american- reacting to Anglo american music, what a way.
My favorite group- listen to their songs from the 50s and 60s too. Butterfly is beautiful.
Barry, the oldest brother Gibb, is the lead vocalist on this song. The other two are the younger twins Maurice & Robin Gibb (the skinny. clean-shaven guy with big eyes is Robin)!!.
Remember no auto tune back in the day
Love The Bee Gees, great documentary on HBO.
MASTERFUL!!!!❤ love when poor folks make it!!!! Such soul!!
Bee gees....love me.....don't throw it all away.....for whom the bell tolls....would be three songs to check out. All of their songs are AMAZING
This is the most incredible music for slow dancing with the one you love. . .just sayin'. . .
Fantastic reaction 😊❤
BeeGees stands for "Brothers Gibb".
Left to right Robin, Barry (lead singer), Morrise.
Small note. That's not oil on his chest. They're burn scars from a childhood accident.
You cannot beat the Bee Gees. They are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I love all their songs but of course we have our favorites. Watch their One Night Only concert somehow. Maybe You Tube has it? That was phenomenal.
Lol love your reactions!!! And yes they were FIRE 🔥
The Bee Gees - 3 brothers from Australia. L to R: Robin,Barry and Maurice. Barry is still alive and lives in Miami, Florida.
Welcome to our good Real pure music, falsetto singing, was a live show no auto nothing just their beautiful voices.❤❤❤
