I grab a few jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches and a box of nock off pop tarts from the dollar tree and take those to work for breakfast on the days i work mornings now. Not as tasty but just dont want to spend the money on McDonald's anymore

Went there today on my 65th birthday. Not on purpose I assure you.. but couldn't be arsed to go to a restuarant after walking around chelmsford. Shock of my life, boiling hot chips and cheeseburger for a change. They must have known !!!!😂🤣
Thanks for reviewing this! I was looking at this on the Maccys app today and it sounded tempting and I was hoping that it wasn't just a tarted up McCrispy. And now I know it isn't, and that it passes the 'heat test' by giving you a nice healthy glow! lol Got to say, when I first clapped eyes on it, whilst you still had it in the carton, it actually looked like what they look like in the ads, and not the usual squashed buns that their cheeseburgers tend to look like!! Might give it a go, as a treat. Like you say Five and a half quid just for the burger (and a small one at that) seems a lot but 'hey ho' that's the way things are these days. Thanks again, Gareth. Fun fact: the McSpicy was first released in China and I tried it in Beijing in 2013 (so it will have been available even sooner than that). It took us over 7 years to bring it here! But topped with jalapeños and franks red hot to boot sounds right up my alley! 🔥
Not seen a man react to hot food so quickly since my mate had a tindaloo in a restaurant on a night out ....I didn't realise a man could sweat that much without being in a head lock ..Great review G keep em coming .
Lovely to have a trip out with Gareth, was only looking at that burger this morning on the app, don't think I will bother. Will have a go at the big tasty again, And don't forget people save your receipts (or if you are like me have a quick looksie in the bin and pick out any discarded receipts, obvs wash you hands after but can't complain for £3) and get a big mac and chips for £3 when you do their survey and you can store them in the app until you are ready to use them.

Everything seems to keep getting smaller to keep the price down. If you go in Sainsbury's frozen Mac and cheese with pulled pork £2 is very nice and I was very surprised at Stamford street spag bol at 85p was lovely no gristle and soft veg. Like to see your thoughts. Always nice watching honest reviews.
For that money you could just get a whole chicken, roast it and serve with Frank's red hot. Bung some roast potatoes on the side and that'll feed four people. Ok a bottle of Frank's and some spuds adds to the cost but...

I never eat McDonald's but my missus took the grandkids to one recently and bought one of these burgers then didn't fancy it. I ate it and to be honest, it reaffirmed why i don't eat from there. Plus, I couldn't seem to sleep that night which usually because I've eaten something too salty or containing MSG.

I love hot food I love spicy food it’s just awesome bland food makes me feel utterly numb and depressed so trying The spicy red hot. Today was awesome. I felt it could’ve been hotter. I’ve tried the spicy burger before that the original one, and that was okay, but the burger seems bigger than this red hot burger. My feeling is that it wasn’t a let down, but it wasn’t as good as I thought it was going to be, BUT I am going to try another one because you’ve got to coz It’s the law. What I want to see from McDonald’s is part of the menu to be dedicated to spicy food fans and there to be Spicy chicken selects also and bring back the mega hot sauce 🤟

@@BaldFoodieGuyGareth I haven't tasted the latest spicy chicken burger from Mc Donald's, but I have tasted the one that's been on the menu for a few years; it is not enough for a savoury meal to have the heat of a hot chilli, it also needs a variety of other flavours which is seriously lacking in the Mc Donald's spicy chicken burger, they need more than just hot chilli flavour, ie a slightly sweet spice, Onions, and Bell-Peppers.

UK dieticians recommend you eat slowly and chew your food efficiently to avoid the hiccups and indigestion Gareth. McDonalds sre now nothing but a place to blow your money on ridiculously small portion size foods. The only things I buy from them occasionally are some of the loose change menu items and Quarter Pound meat patties to make my own burgers with. They're ok when gently reheated wrapped in baking paper. But I won't buy anything that contains gluten. I made a cheeseburger using a Qtr patty just last week, but used jalapenos instead of pickles and dry fried onions on a gluten free bun. 👍 Delicious. Better and cheaper than McD's Cheers Gareth 😀🇦🇺

TEX'S Hot n spicy powder is the closest to a Zinger burger taste if you have a deep fat fryer and wanna make your own. Mix cracked black pepper and/or tiny bit of garlic in your mayo too for authentic kfc taste. Saves a fortune and tastes as good if not better.
Just got that burger now 21.30 it certainly leaves you with a hot 🔥 tongue, i agree with you the burger looked a bit flat ,apart from that id buy it again with a meal ,it tasted very nice 😊

Aye well I carry a bottle of Frank Red hot sauce on me usually, its addictive! Salty peppery goodness. That burger looks a lot better than the normal McSpicy, that was weak..Price is meh, but farmfoods spicy breaded fillets to do a fakeaway is better without a doubt for affordability.
Had a zinger burger from KFC recently, the chicken fillet was less than half as thick as it used to be, the one you had from McDonalds looks thicker to be honest.

I didn't find it very spicy at all, however the flavour was way more intense than I was expecting. Really flavourful sandwich from McDonald's
i loved the kfc zinger burger. is the heat from the jals or the hot sauce? it does look nicer than most macds stuff. not worth 5 quid though.

If you ngo to Sainsbury’s try the ready made Korean chicken, It is not particularly hot but it is tasty.

Aye well I carry a bottle of Frank Red hot sauce on me usually, its addictive! Salty peppery goodness. That burger looks a lot better than the normal McSpicy, that was weak..Price is meh, but farmfoods spicy breaded fillets to do a fakeaway is better without a doubt for affordability.

Had a zinger burger from KFC recently, the chicken fillet was less than half as thick as it used to be, the one you had from McDonalds looks thicker to be honest.
