George Raft moved with a unique sensuality, class and finesse like no other. He was a very good dancer.
You have that right.
He really is something else, so sensual
That dress! George ain't bad either!! What a guy.
George absolutely never gets old
So smooth and sensuous
😎😎😎😎😎
So smooth and gentle can’t take my eyes off him!!!!
Ah!! I see why he and Valentino were friends. Go George!!
Raft has a sensuality about his dancing. Valentino would have approved
George thanks you for saying that. I think you are right.
I have a bio of George in which he recounts spending time with his old acquaintance Valentino just before he died...he was sad and lonely and looked bad. George had longevity because he could deal with life with more strength and tenacity...so glad I can revisit him again!
Raft was very much alike Rudy, he could look at women the same way, and their temper was also very much alike. Raft also adored women, but he was more aware how to resist them.
Rudy hunted women, and always the wrong types, and that was the fall in his life......
I have a GR book. He never did kiss and tell....
Very beautiful ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Glad you liked it thanks for stopping by..
My God..the way she turns around several times and maintain the balance!!
Someone looks very pleased and happy to be dancing in George Raft’s arms....
Most women do. : -)
The lovely Frances Drake well known for the horror films: Mad Love and The Invisible Ray

George sizzles and looks like he’s going to melt right into her.
And he is SO smooooth.
Thanks for sharing this.
Not usually awake this early but sure am now!
Bet that did wake up but guess what the video is an equalizer. If you back to bed you will dream that you're doing the Tango with George Raft. What a wonderful start to any day. :-) The bonus is you get to wear that gorgeous dress to go with the dream. LOL
This is an era when people had class an style. That no longer exsist
You are right though there are dance places here in NYC that have Tango dancing. I have a Facebook Group for George Raft to keep his Legacy alive. So movies like this can be shown and as not to lose all that class. Mr. Raft was one the classiest men and danced beautifully. Maybe if the younger generation sees the Era it may come back. : - ). Thanks for your feedback.
@@lovinraftqueenofnite7708 I did not know he could dance. He was awesome. I just thought he did gangster movies. Great stuff.

I had no idea he was a dancer...and sexy! Woo woo!
Woo Hoo over to my FB group for George. LOL facebook.com/GeorgeRaft.TheLegend.TheMan/
Me either
Love the Raftster
Sexy sexy sexy
Yes yes yes!
Looked like they were trying to groom George Raft into another Valentino...notice the shining black hair.
George and Valentino were friends. They both were Taxi Dancers at the same time. When Valentino passed Valentino's ex-wife wanted George to take his place but George refused feeling he wanted to make it on his own merits. He succeeded and thank goodness lived longer. I think Valentino was glad about that in some way George kept Valentino alive a bit longer.
@@lovinraftqueenofnite7708 Whom of his eks-wives wanted George to take his place, Rampova went to Egypt....and died in 1966 in Pasadena.....
Smooth operator...
That was William Froley from I Love Lucy with George in last scene...
Frawlwy
@@coneysrun Frawley
He seems to be in every clip on UA-cam where George is dancing. I don't know if they were friends, but maybe George kept getting him gigs? 🤔
@@h.calvert3165 I think William Frawley played Raft's brother in at least two ? films, Bolero and Rhumba. Those are still popular on youtube! There are many others that don't include Frawley, and his earlier films really show Raft's versatility.
Bolero
what about WILLIAM FRAWLEY THAT GREAT GRAVELY VOICE.such a long career ahead
👍
Talk about focus
suavity
and debonair. :-)
What's the name of George's partner? I mean the Actress who plays Leona ?
Yes it's Francis Drake and she was a dancer and actress. Why not go to my other channel for George Raft and watch the whole movie "Bolero". ua-cam.com/channels/ThnWwV7GvnG9Z_cLzL5R0Q.html
Wasnt Carole Lombard his co star in Bolero?
@@lovinraftqueenofnite7708 i got the movie on dvd
A me quest'omo mi fa ammattire
Valentino redivivo

@@angelabender8132 Well than join my Channel and you be notified when I put up a new video of George Raft dancing. I have 11 others on here already, OK?
Brilliantined hair! UGH!
It looked good on Georgie.
What is the name of the film?
It's "Bolero" 1934 with George Raft and Carole Lombard. Great film and a number of Georges dances are in this one. I have more clips from this movie I will be putting on here. I re-edit his clips and put better music and cut other intrusions out : -) In this clip I just enhanced the music so you could really appreciate the song that was written Just for Mr. Raft called "Raftero".
Georgie was an incredible dancer! What times!
Georgie is still an incredible dancer. He is appearing at the Group I put up for him. LOL. If you would like to see more you can join the group : -) facebook.com/GeorgeRaft.TheLegend.TheMan/
If you do join I have to tell you only I get to call George, Georgie LOL, ; -)
Whatz a french tango?
It is another version of the Tango. There are many versions of the dance down through the times. George learned and danced the Tango in France in the early 1920's he then brought it to Hollywood. Google George Raft dancing bio. It will tell you more about his dancing styles and history.
@@lovinraftqueenofnite7708 Interesting enough the Tango started in Argentina as a joke
HAIR LOOKS LIKE A LAKE!!!!!!!!!
Ain't it great? Those were the days that men really would take time to groom themselves, classy. No mussed hair and after 5 shadow then run out the door. That was saved for behind the door situations. LOL
Lovin Raft Queenofnite as usual more class than anybody else in his class sweet wonderful what a dancer what a guy
Smooth and gentle - but not romantic. Sorry.
It wasn't supposed to be romantic. It is part of the whole movie "Bolero". You need to watch the whole movie for context.
