I can relate to that Ant. I'm a wee old gal. 100 LBs soaking wet. My very best Buddy Luke, a Lab, even though an older fella is 80 LBs. He is as strong as a Pit Bull and very prey driven. I finally had to give up going for walks when I found I was spending more time on the ground then walking. He is very prey driven and when he picks up a scent all hope is lost. I have a big yard which he loves and is happy to play and sniff the day away. Bless his glorious forever puppy heart. Hugs to you and Zack. I just saw Zack. Gorgeous boy. By the way. I was thinking this wax kit would make a lovely gift on its own.
Hope it didn't take long to fix your dislocated shoulder... Regarding shorts with a reveal in Part 2, Jake's Tie-Dye makes a point that he'll always show the results in the same video; obviously waiting drives plenty of people round the bend.
Hey Ant, thanks for a fabulously soapy adventure! The soaps all turned out quite different, but that's part of the fun! So, now you've made the soap, is the next step opening 'Hotel Ant'?? 😂😂
Hi Ant! Hope you're having a good holiday season! Just watched the mini plant video and hope everything with the doc went ok! Wishing you nothing but the best and thank you so much for the double uploads this month!
Soap making is so much fun!! This was a wonderful video, and your soaps are great! I think the over-mica’d one looks like some sort of antique burnished metal, it would be a mess to use but looks so cool!
I love a good soap making sesh. Well done, next time, try pouring a tiny amount over the petals, let it form a skin, spray with rubbing alcohol and pour (over the back of a spoon) the rest to fill the mould. Hey presto, no floating flowers ❤️
Oooh soap making looks fun! I love the clear ones! Though I know if I bought this kit, I'd become obsessed, buy lots of supplies and spend a fortune on kit, then loose interest a few weeks later. Thanks ✨ ADHD✨ 😂
I hope you get better soon Ant! Sending you love!!!! This is one of my most favorite yt channels!! Have u considered doing fimo or air dry clay some more? I am also a crafting hoarder & i hop from craft to craft and thats my next adventure lol after im done with my current bead loom projects lol
That looked like fun - other than all the waiting for the soap to melt. The marigold ones looked interesting and I guess the marigold flower bits just rinse off as you use them? Love the last one you made with the swirl of colors. That turned out great! 😻 And you have me intrigued now about goats milk soap. If they smelled so good and you just wanted to rub it all over your face...that sounds like it would be soft and moisturizing. Were they ? And I agree with you about the people who just post part 1 of a video and leave you hanging. Ticks me off big time as well!🤬
Spraying a light mist of rubbing alcohol on the top before it hardens will eliminate most of those bubbles. You can also use the alcohol between layers to get the layers to stick together better.
It's not just you Ant. Especially when Dr's. feel a need to give credentials. Standing there in a white jacket with a stethoscope around their neck. LMAO.
I have to tell you Ant, that I laughed when I saw you add all that mica powder to that soap mould. I just knew that you would live to regret that bad decision. Ask me how I know lol. I think all the soaps you made looked amazing. I especially liked the four you made in the flower moulds, the ones with the lavender and rose petals in them, they looked gorgeous! As for what you said about videos that bug you, personally I dislike videos with hideous music playing on repeat throughout the entire video. Or videos in a foreign language with no CC available. And videos with annoying dramatic music and dramatic voice overs, usually for something that is actually not that big a deal. It's so over the top it grinds on my very last nerve. I just flick past those kinds of videos without watching more than half a second of them.
boils your piss lol I've always sad burns my ass! lol Honestly you probably should have dipped a brush in the mica powder and brushed it on the mold instead. Live and learn, eh? :) The dirty pour you made is quite lovely! It's been ages and ages since I made custom soaps and sometimes I miss it... I loved making them. It was the packaging for retail sale that drove me bonkers!
I think I'll wait for the Part 2 Video of your soap making endeavor in which you'll bathe in a sexy bubble bath testing these soaps you laboriously made with your sweat and tears to see if they were as good as advertised.
Yeah videos, especially shorts, split into parts is sooooooo annoying. I do not want to scroll through your page after watching a part one that was posted 9 months ago. It makes me hate you.
And yes Zack took me for a walk instead of the other way round 😅😅

They turned out so pretty. I never thought about making soap before now. I loved the Keeping up Appearances edit. It's such a funny show.
I think they all turned out really nice 😊

Oh wow. This convinced me to get a soap making kit ❤Hope you're feeling better 🙏🏻
I think your soap's turned out great Ant! The last one was my favorite. I am glad Zack took you for a walk Ant. Lol.
I haven't made soap in years! So fun. You did a lovely job ❤. And yes, you were taken for a walk 😂
That does look like fun - I always thought it was so complicated too. And I am such a "Mrs Bucket" fan, hehe. Have a lovely week :)
I'm going on Amazon to buy this kit. Love home made soaps. Feel better Ant.

Ah thanks! 😊😊 Oh the mica powder one was sooo messy! It did the opposite of what soap is meant to do! 😅😅
Would it leave you all glittery though? That could be a plus
I agree, the mica powder gave it such a gorgeous finish, like the patina on old metal.

I would love to see you try to make the big cut soaps
Without the midweek video opening, I couldn't figure out what day it was.

Sadly no pork grease or bacon lard in the soap recipe, no wonder Zack did not approve.
Pretty sure Ant will just wash these away.. With hands and even.. Water
But uh yeah, good video
