I hope they build one like this, that has a BATHROOM and SHOWER. LOL! I needs me a shower! 🤣 my idea of perfect would be a mid bathroom on one side and a smallish kitchen on the other side. With the tracks, bed, etc., at the rear.
This is the first go around and I think if there is interest, Winnebago may consider offering a complete option. For now Mod Vans and VanDoit are the two I know of that offer a more complete build out.
I like seeing Winnebago evolving new concepts like the modular approach. Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see the build to cost value on this one.
I would love this on the Ford Transit. I would like to see a bit more with fresh and gray water, maybe as an option. AC as an option should also be a thing.
Yep, I like the soft bags idea also. That's the MSRP price and not what the dealer is going to sale it for. We will have to see what the market prices look like once they start to come out.
Wonderful idea, but now I understand why the "RV" designation. It's to qualify for a 20 year note for 179K. Just for those that missed the point, the inclusion of a sink and toilet is mandatory for "second home." What kind of sink or toilet does not matter. Assume the bus is 70K, that's a 100k build out for carpet and L track. Neat idea (and I may do the same - for a Promaster) but insane margins on this one.
Yes, you are right about the RV designation, that is an important point that Chris made. If you want to do a diy a build it can get very expensive depending on what you want to do as we have seen in our class b build series. Plus you will definitely get a better resale value on a winnebago branded build.
I would like to have a shower build ..those would be my needs. I think alittle kitchen would work better.. I do like the cold box.. a good size . I like the soft bags..nice 👍 and I like the magnet covers.. for the windows.. This van is a bit expensive ! 😳 I believe.. Thank you Hank and Lola for showing us what's New !!! Thanks for the video!!! Have a great day ! 👍🤗😊😁
Hi Diane, yes I need a shower too😂 I like the modularity for sure and I first saw that ability with VanDoit and later Mod Vans. Mod Vans offers the full RV build with shower, toilet and modularity. I do like Winnebago testing the boundaries, from this collaboration who knows they may end up doing a full winnebago option later on.
Hank can we get an update on these now that they are rolling onto the Sunshine State RV lot? Also I would love to see your input on the shorter wheelbase when it comes out
No, I don't think so. Availability of the Transit is horrible right now, let alone the trail. The builders/manufactures have orders for the trail but are having a tough time getting their hands on it.
Solar panels on top that could be pulled outward and on an angle would be great. Then a clean connection to the battery. I camp for days with my family in a tent with my Go Sun 1100 (1.1 kwh) battery trickle charged from my Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (2018). My SUV has 8.75 kwh on board and I charge it at home using level 2, then I save the battery while driving until we get to our motocross camping area. I don't even really cook using the battery and we go through roughly 9 kwh in a day. The Mitsubishi can then charge my 8.75 kwh battery in 20 minutes using the gas alternator either while driving or idle. 3kwh they have in this van would be okay for day trips but you'd be lacking heavy during a weekend while running a fridge, charging devices etc.
Check Out Our Amazon Gear Store for really cool gear we come across : amzn.to/3eBtZ1O . Thank you for Watching 🙏 🚐💨

I think it would be great if they do a model with the plumbing because that is something that is not easy to do on your own.

@@LolaStrange - Yes!
@@strangerpalooza - Thanks for the info and response!

Cool idea BUT..Needs to be priced under $99k. As someone else mentioned, the pricing structure of this homemade van is lunacy.
Great video Hank and Lola! We love your winter Van Nois Seur designed shirts. We bought one for each of us today.
Thank you VERY much, Lola and I greatly appreciate your support!🙏

I agree. Those are all options that I would like to see also.
I like the soft bag storage but honestly that price is high for what I saw. I get it’s moveable and you can get a home loan for it but man $$$

I'm not seeing the value for the $$$

@@strangerpalooza Good to hear from you! The depreciation after two years on this one, will allow you to buy a brand new van :-)
Yes, the price is ridiculous, but I like cloth cabinets.

So I really loved this, BUT the price is insane. Sorry had to say it. Love you Hank and Lola keep bringing us this great info!

A "Lego" van!!! Nice
Great idea, Winnebago. Will there be a Ford Transit Trail chassis available for an Adventure Wagon van?
No, I don't think so. Availability of the Transit is horrible right now, let alone the trail. The builders/manufactures have orders for the trail but are having a tough time getting their hands on it.

Great idea to start, but...really $179,000.00??? NOPE!
hi hank, do you know if they plan on a ford transit model, keep up the great content
Great video Hank and Chris. Hi Lola !!
Good seeing you out there Scott.
did he say MSRP is $179k?
Yes, that is the suggested but most dealers list below the MSRP.
Remarkable they don’t build a revelXL
Does this mean going to an RV show is more profitable for you than going to shot show?
You it's a tough situation on that side... but right now yes it is. We have been covering it on the podcast.
@@strangerpalooza Of course I watched Utreon after I commented.
Salesman needs to put some pep in his attitude. Too monotoned for me to even listen to the features of the van.
